Heppa Duskdale

Heppa was in a white room with nothing in it but walls. The white was almost blindingly bright, but there were no lights, door, or window so it should have been pitch black. Heppa saw Bluebell appear out of thin air, the first and only tribute she had killed in the Games. Bluebell smiled sweetly. Why is she smiling at me... Suddenly Bluebell's eyes turned red and her sweet smile turned into a scowl and then a smirk. She launched herself at Heppa. Heppa narrowly dodged Bluebell, fear in her eyes. But, then Bluebell pushed Heppa down and into water. Heppa didn't remember any water... but then Heppa didn't care. Bluebell was pushing Heppa down and now Heppa couldn't breath. She pushed up with a ll her might, but wasn't strong enough. Then Heppa went slack and floated in the water.
Heppa suddenly coughed and woke up. She was next to the river. Wondering how she got here, she went to the water and attempted to cleanse her wounds with the clear water. Heppa was hesitant to drink any after what had happened earlier with the water. She wondered how she had survived. It was the Gamemakers, it must have been. Heppa gave in and gulped down water, softening her tongue which had felt like a large dry sausage. Heppa smacked her lips, hoping no one could see her. She looked over her shoulder, to be safe. Then she reached at her belt and smiled. Her knife was still there, along with her bow, but no arrows. She silently cursed at Skye and stood up shakily, only to immediately fall down. Her legs could barely support her weight. Hopefully, after cleansing her wounds she would feel better. Heppa had a plan. She knew exactly where she was going next.

Heppa Duskdale

Heppa could hear tributes on the island in the distance. She attempted to clean her injuries with water again. She would have to be prepared for the other tributes. Heppa walked over to a tree and began cutting off a branch. Eventually, it came off and Heppa then cut off all the leaves. Then she started sharpening the end of it with her knife until it was at a sharp point that could be a nice substitute for a spear, but would probably eventually break since it was just wood. Heppa sighed and drank some more water.

Heppa groaned. Her wounds were no better. She attempted to cleanse them again. She couldn't go into battle with this amount of health, and going into battle was exactly what she planned on doing. Heppa wet her lips and continued sharpening her "spear". Heppa stopped and looked at it. She sighed, it was pathetic. Heppa drank more water. She needed as much energy as possible. The water was her only fuel, so she had to get as much as possible.

Heppa Duskdale

Heppa splashed water on her wounds once again and stood up a bit shakily. She stuck her knife back in her belt and held the spear in her left hand. She was an excellent swimmer from the swimming pool in the Academy. She could hear tributes on the island. Heppa readied herself to swim to the island. She decided to wait for a few minutes to rest. It was evening, if Heppa waited she could go in the darkness and attack the tributes. She was scared and tired, but her adrenaline was back and she felt better than ever.

Heppa Duskdale

Heppa sat in the water and let her wounds soak. Then she noticed the sky getting darker. She grinned. Perfect! Heppa stepped back from the water and ran into it. She swam toward the island in the distance. She was lucky that the water was calm and not rocky and fast. Heppa went underwater and shivered. The water was cold, she had to act fast. But, pretty soon she could see the island getting closer and closer. Heppa came up to the surface and stopped for a moment, gulping down air like water. Then she kept swimming. Once she reached the island she jumped out of the water silently and hid behind a bush to dry off.
