Lenina stormed off into the streets of the residential area. She needed to get out of the training center and away from that insufferable girl. Lenina couldn't stand people like Katriel. She also didn't like the idea of close friends, they always go away in the end. Besides, Katriel had nothing to offer her as an advantage in any situation, the only thing was a never ending headache. Choose your allies wisely, pick those that you can use to your advantage. Her father's voice rang in her mind over and over again. Don't ever get attached, and never, NEVER let your emotions take control. Don't ever lose your cool. Her father would hit her if he knew what she did in the Training Center.

Lenina swung her arms almost violently against her body as she moved. Her fist so tight that her knuckles were white and her palms were a bright red as her nails dug into her skin. Hitting that dummy didn't get out all of the aggression she had hoped it would. She grabbed her left arm up at the shoulder and drug her nails down. All the way down to her elbow. Her nails dug into her skin, catching parts of her ivory skin beneath her fingers and nails. It stung, but the act of doing so let out the emotions that she felt. She looked down to see a few small scratches on her arm that were now dotted with specks of blood that started to come to the surface. She let out a sigh of relief as she began to feel more normal, more like herself.

That was when she heard it. It sounded like footsteps coming from behind her. She opened her eyes and quickly turned to face the person approaching. Her face was still as stern and unchanging as ever. "What do you want?" She asked coldly.

maurice had left the training center virtually the same time as lenina, he hated drama as much as her. he was walking down one of his normal ally way paths. then he heard the girl in front of him. he had been looking at the ground thinking all this time, he didnt really notice anybody in front of him."oh hey, its just me. i was heading back to my house. my commando would kill me if i get home any later."

Lenina faced Maurice. Was he gonna add some stupid comment about saying I overreacted or that I was too harsh? Quite honestly she didn't care what people thought about her. If they were scared of her. Good. She relaxed just a little, "Oh, its just you." Lenina flipped her hair a bit as she turned away from him slightly. If he was gonna try and give her stupid advice she wanted to be able to leave as quickly as possible. "So...have you come to tell me how weak I was for hitting that ditz? Or maybe are you going to tell me I shouldn't lose my cool? Because if that is the case, I already know. If my father found out..."
