Emery wandered through the streets, a pretty girl walking alone. All her friends were studying for the major test her year had tomorrow. Emery had already crammed her brain full of facts that would be useless outside of school. And now she had to wander the streets alone, like a loser. Hopefully not many people her age would see her. It wouldn't be good for her image to look like a loner. Emery kept walking, eyes focused on the ground in front of her. Finally she stopped at a store and bought some bread for her family. She droppped it into her basket and leant against a wall near the shop. That was when she noticed the person near her.

Tyler leaned casually against the wall next to the bakery, a thick textbook in one hand, the other in his pocket. He'd told his father he would be revising for the test, but he just wanted to get out and be with people his age. It didn't matter to him if he passed the test or not.
It was then that he noticed the girl arriving, and walking to the bakery. Tyler recognised her, but as far as he could remember, had never spoken to her. They were in the same year... he was sure of that.

It was then that the girl seemed to notice him. Tyler smiled pleasently and stood up off the wall. "Hey there, I'm Tyler." He said, introducing himself. "We're in the same year at school. I'm not sure if you recognise me."
