Just Visiting

Subject: Just Visiting Tue Mar 08, 2011 6:26 pm

I walked onto the District 6 floor, only intending to visit. That girl who was horrible at healing and that boy who so openly despised me where from this district. 6. Export? I was never good at memorizing that stuff. I only knew about District 5, we were the Fine Arts ones.

Seeing no one immediately I shout out, "Anyone here? I'm Jokk from District 5! I'm not a spy or anything, don't worry!" My loud voice carries along the halls and into all of the rooms. I should have been more careful when yelling. Oh well, there's nothing I could do about it now!

I stepped out into the hall in my sleepwear "Jokk?" I confirmed, "A bit late don't you think?" I pretended to yawn, I hadn't actually been asleep but he didn't need to know that.

It was that kid from the training. Milo had no idea what he was doing here, he wasn't allying with them. He shot a questioning glance at Brook.

I raised my eyebrows upon meeting his eyes. But fell under his arm anyway, Milo's protection felt good and even the smallest of gestures like this made me feel good being his. "Whats up kid?" I asked "We're not allying anymore so you might as well scram." I tried my best to sound tough but I don't think it worked. I kissed Milo on the cheek whispering "Lighten up a bit or do something to make him uncomfortable. It's the only way to make him leave." I continued with the kissing slowly making my way to his lips.

Milo kissed Brook back harder, pressing her against to the wall in the hallway.

THAT surprised me. I was not expecting Milo to return at me with such feeling but, something inside my chest was stirring and I liked it. I returned his passionate kiss wrapping my arms around his back. Just glancing at Jokk who looked weird just standing there.

Tammi walked up to the floor for '6. She silently padding through the hallway, to see her tributes kissing, and that '5 kid. She eyed Brook and Milo with surprise, and looked at the Jokk kid from '5. What did he think he would gain from coming to this floor? "Your not allowed on another District's floor." She said.

I know thats why I said be sneaky about it.

My eyes flew open and I pulled apart from Milo, shock and embarrassment flooded my emotions and I think I turned bright pink. "Ohi Tammie..." I squeaked "What's up?"

Milo put his arm around Brook's waist and eyed Tammi with a, 'yes, we were just kissing,' expression.

Tammi was kind of annoyed that they hadn't talked much, and they had little to none strategy. "First of all, we need to talk. 'Bout the Games. Any allies yet?"

I guess we're not attempting to hide it.. I though resting my head on his shoulder while holding his hand that had wrapped around me. "Not really" I thought I think it was about 1 maybe 2 in the morning we should be in bed.. "Can we go sit somewhere and talk? Like my room?"

"Or just tomorrow morning, Tammi?" Milo spoke up. "It's late, and we need rest for the Games. We can talk over breakfast."

I nodded knowing that if she actually let us go sleeping would be the last thing on our minds I yawned convincingly "Please?" I gave her puppy dog eyes while I traced a circle on the back of Milo's hand.

Tammi sighed. "Whatever." If they have been in the Games before, they would beg to use up every moment for planning for the Games. Even if they were confident they had a chance of winning (Which was unlikely), Tammi needed to discuss strategy with them.

Since Dee is gone for now I'm going to continue this,

I told Milo to go wait in my room which took a bit of kissing and a quick pinch but finally it was me and Tammie, "Help me please" I almost broke down, "I don't want to come out alive I want Milo too but I need your help with that" I was almost crying and hugged Tammie for support.

Tammi had to admit, Brook looked too, well, weak to make it far. If she broke down every time she was scared, she'd die before the bloodbath at the Cornucopia. Sighing, she said, "Look. I'll need to prepare both of you to win. Don't you have talents with weapons? Or, healing?" She was from 6. "If you have something, you'll get far. At least, try to get far. If Milo dies, its over for 6 if you don't at least make an effort!" Tammi felt like she might have said something wrong, or she was just being too harsh on Brook.

I backed away looking hurt, those words stung, she hadn't seen me at training even though they had a tape of Milo and me fighting each other. I was clearly more skilled than Milo with swordplay and I was a 'perfect' healer and she didn't even bother to watch me. "It would help if you made an effort to mentor me!" I broke down again
