The Peaceful Looking Candy Cane Villa

Aurora stopped just in time before she buried her feet into frosting. What was wrong with this place? It made her sick what the Gamemakers did. She hated them, every single person in the Capitol. But know wasn’t the time to do express this. She was just going to play it cool. She surveyed the peppermint roads and the little shelters made of candy canes. She decided here would be a good place to put up camp for the night. It seemed like it was the safest place she could think of at the moment. If she was going to die, she’d like it to be in her sleep.

She walked down the road to the middle of the whole area then settled into one of the shelters. Not too far away to run not to close to be seen. She curled up into a small ball. “I love you mom,” she managed to say before going to sleep. She wasn’t sure she’d wake it in the morning but if she didn’t at least her mom knew she loved her.

Aurora gasped as she japed by some sort of dog-like mutt. She found herself falling backwards. She landed at the bottom of the pit. She had hit hard enough to knock the breath out of her but after a quick look over she was fine otherwise. She tried to climb up the pit but she couldn’t. She had to cry for help or she’ll starve to death down here or she could stab herself with one of her throwing knives she was on death row and was starving slowly to death. “HELP! HELP!” she screamed. She threw up a rock at the bottom of the pit and hoped it hit that mutt. “SOMEONE HELP ME!” she cried out. After several minutes she just slumped down and buried her head into her knees. “Please, help,” she whimpered. She didn’t want to die yet; she hoped her family wasn’t watching her. She started to cry loudly, she couldn’t hold it back. All she wanted was to go home. She didn’t care if she got no sponsors because she was scared little kid. She wasn’t going to let this place change her.

Aurora stopped crying suddenly, she wasn’t giving up that easily. She was going to give it all she had to get out of this pit. She refused to die in a freaking hole. She wasn’t going done this easily. All it would was her thinking of her family to give her the strength to get up and try again. If there is one thing from spending her childhood in District 7 has taught her is to never to give up and when you fall you get back up and try again. She’s fallen from countless tress and she’s gotten up and climbed right back up, broken bones or not.

Aurora sighed when she found the suitcase. She could get out of here. She knew she had to get back and find the others again. She had figured out one thing at least, sleeping on the ground without a watch is a deadly mistake. She wasn't going to make that mistake again. She was tried but she needed to the safety of numbers, maybe going back to the group was her only choose.

Once back onto the ground she grabbed her fishing pole and water bottle. She headed out of this place in search of her old allies. Being alone wasn't something she was ready for. Nothing seemed safe to her. So she ran out of here before something else attacked her.
