Food and Water

Rachel had arrived just on time. She brought a hand up to hair, it was so silky. She had never had silky hair. It was so different to her. She kind of missed having it all knotted. She liked it that way.

Spoken words were just going in one ear and stopping there. She couldn’t process them. All she could hear is her mother screaming. She strolled off to edible foods area. She wanted to hit this place first. She knew knowing a deadly plant from an edible plant is very important. She wasn’t going to spend much time here being from District 10 she had no point for sticking around too long here. She wanted to live so she wanted to find other things to learn too.

Domino arived a wee bit late. She walked around the training center and found her self at the edible plant section. She saw another girl there already.
She was about to introduce her self. Then she realized, allies are dangerous. Dont be an ally to someone you will have to maybe kill later. So she waited and listen and waited.

Rachel heard someone next to her. She could fell by the footsteps it had to be a girl. She only glanced up for a little bit. She knew there was no point in allies. Another person who could judge her, there is no reason she needs to put herself in that situation.

She began to hum ‘All The Pretty Horses’ the same rather dark lullaby she heard her mother hum all the time. A year ago she would have been sickened by the fact she was humming the same lullaby as her insane mother sang. She started to notice she wasn’t much different from her mother after all now.

She organized the plants she knew were safe from the ones she knew were not and the ones she wasn’t sure about. She looked carefully at the ones she didn’t know what they were. Berries, not worth risking getting killed to eat them, the only berries she knew were safe were strawberries and raspberries.

Domino watches closly and tries to remember.
Don't rely heavily on your environment. She remember her mentor said. Then what was the point of this?
