Solstice had finally come long somewhere that looked more like there was vegetation around, it was also lighter over here than where she was before. Solstice looked around and looked up to see if she could find any tree pranches that might be useful to her, while walking she pulled out one of her apples and she took a small bite out of it. Apples were a great source of food they were also juicy inside which provided you with some form of liquid so your mouth didn't dry out completely. Solstice put the apple back and continued to search.

SUPPLIES:
6 Throwing Knives
3 Apples (one has a bite taken out of it.)

The tribute noticed a branch that seemed the right size for what she wanted, but it was pretty high up in the tree it was in.

Solstice grumbled under her breath as it was up high in the tree and then she thought for a moment and smiled. Soon she pulled out two of her six knives and she managed to stick both in the tree. She pulled herself up and took one knife out placing it up higher and then did that with her other knife. She swung her feet onto one branch and took her knives out. She looked up to see if she was any close to the branch she wanted, and she was now trying to reach for it wondering if she was high enough or if she had to try and climb higher.

The branch seemed to be in reach, but a sudden gust of wind blew through, shaking the tree and throwing rain right into the tribute's face for a moment, putting her off balance.

Solstice sighed as the wind came along and so did some rain. She was almost to go off balance and then put a hand on the trunk of the tree to steady herself for a moment as she wiped the rain from her face, it was more refreshing than a pain. "Hope you're laughing." Solstice grumbled slightly. She got hold of her branch and snapped it off and then slowly moved herself to sit on the branch below her feet. She placed her back against the trunk of the tree and wrapped her legs around the branch to hold on without using her hands. She then looked at the clothing under her leather armor. She took the leather part off for now and then took her knife and cut the bottom half of her shirt off. She took that cloth and wrapped it around end of the stick and tied it there, then she put her leather vest back on. She put her knives away and then was trying to wait for the wind to calm down before she tried getting down.

Unnoticed by the Tribute, a parachute drifted towards the tree, it caught on a branch and ripped, sending its contents, a large rectangular box, sprawling towards the tribute, the package slammed into her shoulder, sending her and it down through the treebranches to the surface of the arena with an audible crash.

Solstice felt something hit her shoulder and soon enough in a fast motion everything moved quickly and she was on the ground and she groaned. "Yep, you're laughing at me." She mumbled and then she sat up and she put her semi made torch in the loop of her pants. She then grabbed the shovel and got up. Maybe she could try finding flint.. and maybe if there was no luck right away she could go and find a boy with matches and trick him into giving her one. Now to find a good spot to dig.

It didn't take the tribute long to notice the right leg of her pants had been torn up by the branches she hit during the fall, most of her leg was exposed to attacks and the elements.

Solstice sighed as she noticed her pants, well at least she wasn't shy about her body, that was for sure. Solstice didn't hesitate to take her pants off. She then threw them in her bag and they could possibly be useful for something else in the future. "and you think me having tattered pants would stop me." She said chuckling and continued on. She found a spot to dig and decided she'd try here. She put the spade of her shovel in the ground and put pressure on it with her foot to dig in the ground and then she just tried to look for flint.

Solstice sighed, she didn't feel like trying to dig around this rock. She walked a bit away and then found a new spot to try and dig at. She wanted to try once more before she set off out of the area, maybe this time something different would happen. Maybe she wouldn't find a rock.

The tribute hit something hard once again, but it seemed to be a dark grey colour, different from the rock she hit before.

Solstice shook her head, she was always hitting rocks. She was about to go and take her shovel and leave when she noted that it looked different than the rock before. Solstice held her shovel as she crouched down to take a look at what it was, a closer look. She then nudged it with her shovel.

Solstice smiled as she noticed that it was flint. This was great now she could light up her torch, steel and flint could make it possible to create a flame upon her torch and she could go back to the darker part of the arena. She put the flint in her bag and grabbed her shovel as she began to walk out of the area having what she needed.
