Van winced at first contact with the bandage, but then she felt some of the pain had been removed. "Yeah, a lot better." She said, thanking Brook. "So, what's the plan?"

"Don't have one.. I was thinking about working our way back up the mountain and finding a hideout near the Cornucopia.." I shrugged "I'm not sure what we're going to do."

Vanessa nodded, "That sounds pretty good..." She said. Then she spotted Milo lying on the ground. "We should probably wait until that guy wakes up first, though."

"Agreed, although he's going to be out for awhile though." I yawned at the breaking morning. "We don't need to set up a watch, We only have two sleeping bags though, who you want to share with?"

"I'm pretty sure I'll be fine without one." Van muttered, "By the way, I got us the only tent." She motioned to it.

"That'll be useful." I agreed, "And yea you will need one, it's going to freeze about everything tonight so we need to stay warm." I shrugged "I think this is one of the only times we can safely build a fire."

"Oh, well I don't really care who I share a sleeping bag with, just as long as they don't slit my throat in the middle of the night." Van told her.

"I'll share with you?" I offered, "So long as BOTH of us leave our weapons on the tree." I had no intention of killing Van, But I would keep something to defend myself with on my person at all times. As the sun rose I peeled off my coat just standing in my bra, "That feels so much better, sometimes I think they're trying to make us overheat."

"I'm okay with that..." Van said. She stared up at the blinding sun, "I would say they actually are trying to make us overheat." Vanessa muttered, as she reached up to tie her light brown hair up. Then she remembered that this wasn't her bedroom so there wasn't an unlimited supply of elastics, and Van let her hair fall down.

"Likely" I say from against the tree. I peer up through the branches of the pine tree, "We've got trees here though, good shade", I examine the belongings of the 4 girl. She didn't have a bow, that was good and bad, as long as she was on our side, she wasn't as useful to us in combat or hunting, but once alliances break off or if she tries to backstab us, her best weapon is out. Although, so was mine, there were no hatchets or axes to be seen, but a spear was a good enough substitute for a halberd.

I hung up my coat on the tree branch, we didn't do much today but sleep and night was already falling, "Shall we work out a watch schedule?" I asked quietly "Seems to me the odds are in our favor."

I smile, "Ill take first watch". I ponder the statement, "No, Im sure theres someone or a few someones out there that can't wait to ruin our day" I say, straightening myself against the tree and taking a firmer grip on my spear.

"I'll change the bandage on your leg?" I asked, "You should be fully geared for tonight."

I raise my pant-leg and see that the bandage is almost completely red, "Yeah, good idea" I say, it looked like it was probably done bleeding, but a clean bandage was probably important. "what about your arm?"

I checked my arm, it was splotched red as well. "If you wouldn't mind?" I asked. Then staring at my arm again, "I feel like one of those Capitol Comando's..." I said, then shook my head and bent down, removing his bandage, keeping pressure on the wound which looked much better than yesterday, and stuck on the new bandage..

I sigh happily, "Its amazing how much better a clean bandage feels" I say, taking one of them and using my free hand to peel off the red one on Brook's arm, placing my hand over the wound until I put the new bandage on. "where'd you get this wound anyways?"

"I think I ripped it open on a rock.." I said "While I was falling," I sighed. I was still healing so I wasn't tip top shape yet, I pulled out his sleeping bag and set it near him as I climbed in. I left my coat on the tree, I would overheat otherwise. "I'll talk with you awhile.." I said sleepily

I slide in slowly, making sure there was a zipper on my side in case I needed to get out to fight. "Least you didn't get stabbed by your own knife" I mutter quietly. "What do you think the other tributes are doing?"

"I'd imagine half of them are sleeping by now.." I shifted so my bad arm wasn't rubbing against his coat, "You can take off your coat." I pointed out, "It'll give you more room and we can share body heat that way."

Milo came to slowly, cracking his eyelids, feeling pain shooting through his head, and closing them again quickly. He could make out figures huddled in sleeping bags around him. He connected thoughts slowly, ringing gong, shining cornucopia, spear, cliff, pain, and then nothing. Brook...BROOK! Panic shot through him and he lurched up. Instantly, fireworks exploded in his head. Pain everywhere, blinding him. He let out a sharp cry of pain and fell back down, clutching his head.

I'd left the other group, had fallen down some freakish hole, and then came out at the base of the mountain. I'd heard some voices and decided to follow them, perhaps this was the 6 group. I strapped my bow onto my back and had my hands raised above my head in surrender, hopefully this would make sure that they didn't attack.

I looked over to where a figure had sat up in his sleeping bag, "M-Milo!" I choked out in surprise. "You're OK!" the temperature was pretty cold out I should probably put on my coat standing out in just my bra and pants was cold enough but I was too overwhelmed with emotion to care. "You're alright!" I repeated. Not noticing Firefly coming towards us.
