Velvet heard someone in the other train section and smiled. Another victim tribute, she thought triumphantly, and opened the door. "Velvet La Roux," she replied after the girl introduced herself. "District 1 mentor, at your service. As for your district partner..." Velvet looked around, and, seeing nobody, raised an eyebrow. "Well, I guess for now it's just you and me. Their loss." She sat down on one of the glossy pink cushioned seats and grabbed a bagel, spreading it with cream cheese and taking a bite. "Mm. You never get used to Capitol food. I mean District 1 is pretty damn good too, if you've got the money, but the pre-games food is definitely the best." She laughed and took another bite. "So, any questions to start off?"
