Subject: Interview with Thalia Ivory! Sat Jun 29, 2013 5:19 pm

--Interviewer Extraordinaire--

Caesar Flickerman stood up as he went to introduce the next tribute ready for their interview, the lights shining brightly down on the large stage created a breathtaking scene as the faces of the District's tributes were being displayed behind him. He held his hand out off stage as he warmly introduced them to the Capitol. "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the stage the girl from district 3, Thalia Ivory!" The audience boomed as he motioned for her to come and join him center stage.

It was my turn to take the spotlight. I had on a shiny silver dress and my wedding ring that my stylist gave back to me. I walk out and I see the crowd. They are cheering and screaming for me. I can feel the buzz and excitement running though me. I blow kisses and wave at the crowd. I sit down and before Caesar speaks to me I say "Can I just say how much I love you guys!" and I blow the camera a kiss.

Ceaser smiled at the girl from district three and watched her as she came onto the stage and took her seat. "Welcome my dear." He said and then he kissed her hand, "And I'm sure we all love her back, don't we?" Ceaser asked the crowd, and the capitol was cheering and screaming. He hushed them down and then when he let go of her hand he noticed the ring and grinned. "So, Thalia, want to use about this ring on your finger, to me it looks like an engagement ring!" her said with a smile, and lifted her hand up to show the rest of the crowd.

Already we were getting personal. But I don't blame them. I would sponsor the person who I knew most and who wasn't afraid to spill the beans. "Well, back in District 3, I got married recently to the most person man I can imagine. Infact, he is the reason I will be fighting to get back home. I want to see him again, and not only that, but winning would change our lives." I smile throughout that whole thing. All I need to do us imagine him in my head, and I feel better.

As Thalia answered the question at hand the crowd let out a few awes and swooning sounds. "Well I am sure you will see him again. Please tell us about him, what do you think he thinks as he sees you here now?" Caesar leaned forwards in his chair as he intently listened to her speak and as if they were copying him the audience shifted as well. It seemed all of the Capitol was eagerly waiting to hear more.

To be honest, he never told me what he thought about this. I just have to bluff about it and hope no one really notices. "Well Caesar, I think that he will be really proud of what I have achieved here and he knows that I am going to give it my all. I am not going down without a fight. He is the reason I am alive, and he is the reason why I will stay alive at the end of the games. Thanks to passion, determination and love."

The crowd let out a collective awe as she finished her statement. Caesar wiped a tear from his eye, not a real tear of course, but he of course was very convincing. "That was beautiful and absolutely sweet to hear. Thank you for sharing that with us Thalia. I am sure he is so very proud of you." Caesar reached out and grabbed her hand and put his other hand on top of hers. "Now Thalia you of course must have a plan to get back to your beloved. Mind giving us some insight? It will be our little secret." Caesar gave her a playful wink which of course made the crowd let out a collective laugh.

I blush when he mentions that he would be proud of me. I decide to give the crowd the gossip on my truce. "Well, I have created a truce which is going against a specific pack, and I have got people with me on the truce. It's controversial, but I don't want to play it safe and hide behind everyone else."

Ceaser leaned forward and looked at her, when she was talking about this truce, "Is this 'truce' of yours going to give this other pack that's not being named a run for their money?" He asked hoping for her to come out with some level of confidence, to show the crowd that she wasn't one of those doormat tributes. "Any friends or enemies you've made in the training center?" He asked smiling.

I decided that the Capitol wants confidence. "Oh totally, the pack have better watch out! And with friends and enemies, I have met some wonderful tributes. It's down to some particular tributes though that I created the truce. The tributes this year are quite spectacular I have to say."

"Yes, yes they are indeed." Ceaser said, agreeing that the tributes were spectacular this year for the games. "So, Thalia, if you win, what do you plan to do when you get back to your district?" He asked and then he waited for her to say something, to give the capitol more information about the district three girl.

I didn't consider thinking about after the games. "Well, even though I am married, it wasn't a big wedding. It was basically signing the papers. So I would renew the vows and have a proper wedding. That is what I would love the most." I say, blushing.

Ceaser nodded, "That's very understandable." He said and then grinned as he got an idea, "Hey, about we all go to this wedding once, you win?" He asked flashing the crowd and her a smile. "What do you think ladies and gents?" And they started cheering and he laughed, "I'm sure Thalia, would love to have us, and then we can meet that lucky husband of yours."

I can't imagine every citizen fitting into a wedding in District 3, but I be polite anyways. "Of course, he would love to meet you guys. Infact, as long as families and friends could travel here, this place would be an amazing place to have it. The stage, the lights, the big crowds. The Capitol seems to be flawless." I let the citizens feel proud of themselves.

Ceaser smiled, "That sounds absolutely splendid! Maybe we can redo it during your victor tour!" He exclaimed and said smiling. "I'm sure the capitol will just love it!" He said ad then asked the the crowd and they all cheered loudly for Thalia. "So Thalia, do you got any siblings back home?" He asked.

"Yeah, I have two younger sisters. I love them so much, and even if one of them were chosen, I would still be here right now. Love does very strange things to me, and volunteering to saved loved ones would be one of the craziest things I would have done."

"Well that just proves how much you care and look after your sisters." He said and then smiled at her warmly. "Is there anything you said to them before you left?" Ceaser asked.

I remember the last words exactly. I made sure that I knew what the last thing they could say to me were. "One said 'I know you can win Kitty Cat, just show them what you were made of' and the other said 'See you when you come back' so I want to make them proud by winning." I start crying now that I think of my sisters.

Ceaser wiped the tears from her eyes, "Come on darling, don't cry, you'll see your sisters again!" He said with a big smile on his face, "Be strong, like the girl from district 3 we know and love." He said as the crowd started cheering, "Now we're getting close to the end, any final words to say?" He asked.

I had one last thing to say to get the citizens cheering. "Yes, I can't wait to talk with you after these games are done. And I can't wait to see all of your beautiful faces in the crowd as well!"
