Physical Appearance:Lottie is average height, at 5'5", and weighs around 118-120 pounds. She has wavy dirty-blonde hair that cuts off a few inches past her shoulders that she usually leaves at, although she's relatively fond of fuzzy knit hats to wear over it as well. Her skin is fair, and her eyes are a pretty ocean-blue color. Lottie's most noticeable features are probably her facial structure and her eyebrows, which are a darker, more brownish color than her light hair. She has straight, slightly thick eyebrows that angle at a slant towards her nose. Lottie has a wide, almost square jawline and moderately strong cheekbones, making her somewhat recognizable if you saw her multiple times within a day.

Socioeconomic Status: Technically poor, though she has friends in high places.
Family: Tempest assumes she had parents. She never cared much about them, though, and doesn't know their names. Alessandra is pretty much her only family now, but neither of them are the type to get attached. They merely enjoy eachother's company.
Brief History: Tempest was born to a poor family in the slums of District 3. Her father had never been as intelligent as the rest of his family, and her mother got pregnant at a very young age. Tempest's mother gave birth alone in the dark and left her baby to die. Tempest doesn't know what became of her mother, but expects she likely died or sold herself into prostitution, though there is a small chance she married Tempest's father or something and the two lived a long, happy life without their daughter. Tempest was taken in by an old woman until she was 6, when the woman died. Tempest was never the type to get attached, and stole food for a year before being found by a peacekeeper and put in an orphanage. When she was almost 11, Tempest escaped, and lived on her own on the streets. She never put much of a value on life, though she knew other people did, so when she met a 22-year-old young woman named Alessandra at the age of 12 and was told she had potential, she didn't hesitate. Alessandra trained Tempest until she could physically do what she was already able to handle mentally. Tempest's youth made her a valuable asset, since nobody expected a 13-year-old girl to drug and kill them. She started out with poison and slipping things into food, and by the time she was 15 she didn't have to. There was a lot of technological competition in Tempest's area, and Alessandra found quite a few people for her to kill. Alessandra officially adopted Tempest just to keep the peacekeepers at bay, and Tempest took her last name. Alessandra took care of Tempest and gave her a place to stay, but Tempest didn't care about that. She didn't kill people for the money. She killed people because she had nothing better to do, and because it was fun. She liked that the people she killed seemed desperate to survive, would beg her for their lives, but she didn't care. Tempest is not a psychopath, she just never cared about life. So many people live and die every day, making no mark on the world in the long run, so what did it matter? She liked the feeling of superiority she got from them begging for something she saw as worthless. Tempest loved killing, but she knew she'd eventually get old and grey and be hanging onto life for no reason one of these days, so she decided that if she didn't get reaped, she'd volunteer for her last year of eligibility. If someone beat her to it and she couldn't just kill them to get them out of the way, well, she'd hang on a few more years and then start doing dangerous, irrational, entertaining things until an 'accident' happened and her life came to an end. Alessandra, who shares a similar outlook on life to Tempest, is supportive, and has already begun looking for a new protege, though she's not having much luck in such a technology-driven district, so she's considering sneaking onto a train and starting up somewhere else. Tempest and Alessandra are on good terms, and Tempest would see her as an older sister if either of them cared about family.

General Appearance: Tempest is shorter than average, which she doesn't really care about. She has some muscle and knows how to use her smaller size to her advantage, having several fought larger enemies who thought they could overpower her with the same old techniques. She has smooth, lightly tanned skin that is often decorated with a bruise or scratch or bloodstain here and there. Her face is oval-shaped, and her brownish-hazel eyes are slightly downturned at the outer corners. Tempest's wavy-straight hair is a chocolatey dark brown and cuts off a few inches past her shoulders. She doesn't bother doing anything with it aside from putting it up in a high ponytail sometimes to keep it our of her face. Tempest only wears clothes she can move in, and prefers dark colors.

Overall Personality: Tempest, above all else, doesn't give a damn. She doesn't get attached and doesn't really care what happens as long as she achieves her random whims. She's smart, but she doesn't care about long, elaborate, manipulative plans. For a murderer, she lives a pretty go-with-the-flow kind of life. She's rather creepy and a bit sadistic, and has no regard for human life, even her own. She wants to be in the games to kill and would rather live well and die young than draw out her worthless life and die when her body gives out on her. She's sarcastic and flirty when it serves her purposes and just lets like take her where it wants to, killing all the way.
Talents: She's had plenty of practice killing people and has very little moral issue with it. She's also good with most types of blades, and she considers her sarcasm a talent.
Flaws: She's heartless and a fatalist, and is terrible at making friends. She also has no will to live, so she'd never survive in the games. She places no value on human life.
Fears: She's not afraid of death, but she hates losing. She also thinks one should never trust a moose.

Family: Her mother, Robin, died during the childbirth of her second daughter, and her father, Tucker, works all night, so he sleeps all day. Auralee also has a 15-year-old sister named Melody, who is weak and sickly and hardly gets out of the house. Auralee feels a lot of maternal instinct toward Melody, but she doesn't really know how to help her.
Brief History: Auralee's family loved her dearly, but never had much time for her. Her mother died during the birth of Aurie's sister, Melody, and due to the complications, Melody's immune system had always been weak. Melody barely survived her childhood, and now spends all her time indoors. She gets sick a lot, loses her breath easily, and sometimes passes out, but she wants to be a normal kid and feels fine most of the time. The Brownings were too poor to afford proper medical care for her, so they don't know exactly what's wrong. Auralee feels like Melody is a lot younger than she is, and Auralee has been responsible while looking after her, but she's not very commanding. Auralee doesn't feel like the older sister. At age 12, she started babysitting other families for money to for food and to help take the load off her sister. She signs up for a little tesserae, but she knows there are much poorer families in the district. When Aurie was 14, she was walking home from a babysitting job when she was mugged. She gave them her babysitting money but they knocked her out, punched her in the stomach, and ran off. Auralee stumbled home and nobody noticed because they had their own problems to worry about. She considered running away after that, trying to do the math of the little money she brought home vs. the food and such she was using, but she never had the heart to leave her sister alone. She's stronger than she thinks she is, mainly because of her home life, but she still knows that if she managed to find the will to kill another person, it would destroy her emotionally.

General Appearance: Auralee isn't quite petite, but she's still got a rather small frame. She has pale, creamy skin that is usually free of both blemishes and makeup. Auralee has an ethereal, almost ghostly beauty to her, but she doesn't care much about her appearance.

Overall Personality: Auralee has always been a total sweetheart. The only time she really loses her temper is if someone is hurting an innocent, and most people who know her have never seen her get angry. She's quiet and kind and mostly keeps to herself, or keeps silent in group conversations with friends. Auralee likes people and wants to be around them, but she's introverted and also needs some time alone. She finds herself relying on other people sometimes, which she doesn't know how she feels about, but she's been told that she makes some people into better human beings with her influence. She likes animals and nature and singing and reading and doesn't seek a lot of excitement or adventure in life.
Talents: Cheering people up, bonding with people, singing
Flaws: Auralee has trouble asserting herself and always gives in to others. She also would struggle greatly with the moral consequences of killing someone. She's often anxious and paranoid about breaking rules.
Fears: She's afraid of the people she loves getting injured and she's scared of dying because she doesn't know what comes next. She's also not fond of heights, though she wouldn't call it a real phobia.
Aspirations: Auralee wants to help people and live a happy life.

Another year goes by....

Annie Gallagher is now 19 years old and has gained some weight, as she may or may not be carrying a passenger. She is now ineligible for the reaping.
Baby Echo is hardly active but she is now two years old and her hair has grown in a light golden brown!
Evie Northwood is now 21 and has moved out of her dad's house, now living with one of her few remaining living friends.
Celia Holland is now 17 years old, and has not undergone any significant physical changes.
Peppermint Harrington is now 17, whether or not she was 16 or 17 before, because I forgot which she was and when I aged her.
Violet Fletcher is now 17, maybe 18, for the same reasons as Pepper.
