Deluna thought she had something to prove to the members of district four. She wasn't just another poor girl, wandering around making fishing nets. She was a force to be reckoned with! Someone who most should be afraid of, or at least respect. She wanted respect, and if this is what she had to do to earn it, so be it.

She knew she was two opponents, which could be more difficult than she thought. Yet, Deluna was determined to prove herself, right here, right now. Once the gong sounded, she stabbed across the male opponent with her spear. She knew he would probably be the strongest, and he looked like he knew what he was doing.

Ben stepped forwards, hefting his sword and shield up in preparation. Overlooking his younger opponents, Ben knew he had the advantage here, former victor, older, stronger. He'd need to watch out for them both coming after him. He lifted his shield at the one girl attacking him, aiming to deflect her attack to the side. This let him open his shield and take a swing at her in retaliation going for a hard strike.

Oceania looked around at her fellow district opponents and grinned. This was just what she wanted! To be in a Games-like situation! She grips a sword in one hand, and a spear in the other. She hasn't really been experienced with a sword before, but there's a first time for everything, right?

"Let's just get this over with," she growls out to the others fighting. Oceania sprints up to the older opponent and tries to force her spear into his body. It wasn't like she died if she lost the tournament, but the girl kept telling herself that she had to win, just to show her district someone new for once. She pulls her spear from her target, and retreats back to her starting point. She looks to the girl opponent, who seems to be around her age, but hesitates.

These aren't the real Games. No alliances. she thinks to herself. She shakes her head pathetically and squints her eyes. Pay attention, you idiot! she snapped to herself in her mind. Oceania grips her spear and sword even tighter, now that she's fully aware of her surroundings.

Deluna frowned as he deflected her hit, even though she had missed him anyways. Was he showing off? She couldn't really be sure, but she would keep coming at him anyways. Using her spear, she slashed across the area where the guy was standing, aiming for his torso-area.

Deluna didn't know about the other girl, but so far they seemed to be doing the same thing. If she hadn't known any better, it seemed like they had allied, almost like some tributes in the games. Even thought this wasn't the games, it made her feel better to think that she probably shouldn't expect a hit from her soon.

As both girls went for him, he smirked and raised his shield to block the one, as the other girl had missed him by a bit in her strike. "Ladies, ladies, no need to team up on me" he said, grinning. He jabbed at the one girl, ignoring the one who had missed him. "If we were to be smart here, we'd be double teaming the girl who decided not to bring a shield to the three way fight" he said, smirking at her. She was the easy target without a shield.
