Castiel entered the ring quietly, trying not to draw attention. He looked at all the people clapping, but he couldn't hear them. His deafness didn't bother him much, he liked being in his own world. He looked at the dagger and sword he had, then at the opponent. The screen said 'Lorcan Potter', so he guessed his name was Lorcan. Smiling, he didn't talk. He never talked to anyone, only in sign language. He looked at the sword and slashed it at Lorcan, smiling. He hoped that the boy wouldn't talk to him.

Lorcan entered the arena, he was pumped and ready. His opponent was Castiel, Lorcan didnt know much about him, and had only seen him around the district. He had picked out his daggers specially, the ones that looked most like sickles. Castiel didnt wait to get into the battle and attacked with accurate savagery. Loracan attempted to block the oncoming sword. He stepped to the side, and ducked in thrusting his daggers towards Castiel.

Castiel didn't say anything, as he refused himself to speak. He couldn't say hello because he would say it in a studder or something. He hardly talked. He looked as his attack was blocked. He looked to the ground before trying to dodge the boy's attack. After that, he took his blade and slashed on Lorcan, showing a smile. Maybe he could show emotion.

Lorcan's attack hit, and Castiel's attack missed. Lorcan took a step forward and slashed both daggers towards the boys chest. He returned the smile, and then took a step back to get out of the reach of Castiel's sword.

Castiel groaned as he missed, so he tried to be calm. He was happy that neither of the boys had opened their mouth yet. Cracking his knuckles he tried to dodge the boy's blade and then hit the boy with his. He kept smiling, but then it faded. He didn't care to win or lose.

Lorcan pulled up his knives, hoping to block the attack from Castiel. He then stepped back and too the side, and swung his dagger at his chest hoping for a hit. Castiel kept smiling, so Lorcan did as well, he was prepared to give it all he could to win this battle.

Castiel watched as his attack was blocked. They were always blocked with this guy. When he saw the boy's dagger fly over to him, he quickly ducked to dodge it. He took his sword and slashed at the boy. This was getting a bit tiring for Cas, but he couldn't slow down. Not when he was just getting started. He was hardworking, and hardworking people don't stop. Not until its over.

Castiel continued to block all of his efforts to land a hit, but he didnt let it throw him off. He met the attacking blade with his own, and twisted throwing it away from him. With his other dagger he jabbed towards the torso region.

Castiel shrugged. This thing was getting boring, but he couldn't give up now. Not when it was just beginning. He watched his attack successful, which brought him out of a slump. Trying to dodge the boy's attack at the same time, he slashed at Lorcan, smiling a bit. He didn't even know the boy, but he didn't mind smiling.

Castiel was able to block his attack, again, but his swing missed, just nicking his side. Lorcan took a step back, trying to regain his composure, and then stepped back in swinging both of his daggers as hard as he could.

Castiel ended his smile when he missed, but he got the block, so it was okay. Trying to dodge the boy's attack, he hit the deck. Getting up, he brushed himself off. When he saw the boy again, he slashed him quickly with his sword, showing no mercy.

Lorcan felt his blades make contact, 'it was about time', he smiled at the thought of gaining an edge. He missed a beat, and Castiel landed a hit. Pain surged through Lorcan's body, and he cursed himself for getting distracted. He charged aiming both of his daggers at Castiel, one for his heart and the other for his stomach.

Castiel smiled as the boy didn't even attempt to block his attack. But then he felt pain in his side from the boy's slash just a few seconds before. In pain he went down to the floor, not even knowing he was blocking the boy's attack. Castiel slashed at the boy with all his might. The contest must have some point of ending, right? Maybe there wasn't, but Cas wasn't going to fight forever. Taking a few steps back, he finally got courage. He waved to the boy now, smiling.

Lorcan's daggers hit there mark again, drawing blood, but this time he didnt let himself become distracted. He pulled back a few steps avoiding the attack, Lorcan heard the sword wizz by. He took step back in, towards Castiel, and jabbed his daggers at the boy.

Castiel didn't mind getting hit. It was okay with him, since there are possibilities that he could go into the games and die, so he might need to get used to the pain. He hit the deck again to dodge the boy again and then stood off. He slashed at the boy with his sword.
