Welcome to the 36th Arena!

Rise and Shine Ladies and Gentlemen! The 36th Games have begun!
Below is a diagram of how you tributes are arranged around the “Cornucopia”. Please take this as a guide, not an exact position. Also, please note there is no Cornucopia; just a Giant Maple Tree. Supplies are scattered about, as well as some special items in the tree.

Now, we all know you’ll obviously need something to wear. We here in the Capitol have equipped you with attire required for this Arena.

36th Games Attire:

As of this moment, the games have begun. You will post in this topic of your tribute in the sixty seconds before the gong sounds and the tributes are set upon each other. You will not leave your plate until a Gamemaker announces the end of the sixty seconds and sounds the gong. Trying to leave the plate early is an automatic disqualification, on account that if you survive the mines you will be crippled and will bleed out or be easy pickings for the other tributes. Once the gong sounds, you are free to run away or fight, as you choose. However, you must post twice before leaving, and it takes three posts if you wish to get any of the items in the tree (You must climb the tree to get them).

Supply List:
On The Ground

2x Mesh Bags- One is placed in front of each platform, you must take one, or be disqualified; You are only allowed to have one.
0x Sharpened Metal Stakes- These are about 2ft long and count as weapons.

In The Tree (These take an extra post to retrieve)

0x Mystery Backpacks –These contain items vital to your survival; it is highly recommended you try for one of these.
0x Length of Rope
0x Empty Water Canteens –These have a strap on them and hang from the inner branches

Each tribute may take up to two weapons, and only one mesh bag. Don't go overboard with supplies. If I find you have taken like everything and would never be able to carry it, besides making it unfair, I will tell you that your tribute has dropped some of the items and may keep a certain amount. This probably won't be a problem, but if it is that's what'll happen. Other than that, supplies are pretty must first come first serve, and I will keep the list updated as best I can as we go.

Also, please remember you are allowed to kill NPCs, as well as launch attacks at each other through attack die. There is no escape die required for this fight; just your two (or three) posts required to leave. Below is a list of NPCs, for your convenience.

Norman sighed and closed his eyes a final time. Opening them, he listened for the gong to sound. As it did, Norman took off sprinting for the maple tree in the center of the tributes. Making it across the expanse, he saw the other tributes doing the same. As he grew nearer, he leaned down to grab a mesh bag and a metal stake. As he reached the tree, he jammed the metal stake into his belt. He was ready to reach for footholds and begin climbing.

Aspen was standing there waiting for the gong to sound, she had the adrenaline pumping in her blood and it was taking her everything she had to stay on the platform, and boom, it was off and sounding. Aspen sprinted hard to get to the corn. Being short she had to make up for it, Norman was tall so it'd be easy. She picked up the mesh bag and a metal stake. She jammed it in her belt and then she as she sprinted for the corn she spotted Norman and she jumped onto his back.

Leda felt fresh air on her face as she rose up to meet the arena. She could hardly process the situation, but was dealing with it anyway. Time to die, the pessimistic part of her brain told her. She shoved it away. Time to try to live. She stared around at the arena and other tributes as her plate locked into place and she was all set up. She could hear the countdown boring into her brain, but it just felt like too soon, too soon, too soon. Get yourself together, come on. You’ve survived worse than this. Well… not really, but that doesn’t mean you won’t. Leda still hadn’t formed any alliances but figured she’d go off on her own and take things as they came. She bit her lip and braced herself, digging her nails into her palm to keep focused. "It’s every freak for herself," she said wryly, awaiting the gong that would send her spiraling off into a future she was pretty sure she didn’t want. Ten, nine, eight… Leda took a deep breath, fixing her eyes on the supplies she wanted and preparing herself to kill someone. There was a stake between her and the D11 girl, and she could see the other girl’s eyes on it. The seconds kept counting down and Leda stopped trying to register what was happening properly and started concentrating on how to stay alive. The gong rang, echoing across the arena and Leda went into automatic. She sprang forward, grabbed the stake, elbowed the girl from 11 in the stomach, then slashed her face with the stake and jammed it into her gut. Leda ripped it out, and started looking around for other supplies. There was no one she was particularly scared of at this point, so she was watching out for everyone. She noticed backpacks hanging from the tree, and 24 mesh packs in front of each platform. Leda got the message and grabbed one of the mesh packs, then approached the tree. Okay, I can do trees. Leda examined the branches, looking for the best way to climb up.

Celestia rose up onto the platform, ready for anything that could be put in front of her. She'd seen all the other arenas in past tapes and from her natural memory. Some were normal, others unique. But, after taking things into consideration, Celestia knew that everyone was a threat. She rose higher and higher. Celestia didn't mind the outfits, as it was better than the last Hunger Games. Where half of them didn't have any clothes besides swimwear. She rose up, now seeing everything into view. Celestia was at an edge of the plates. Very fun. Next to her were two people she was unfamiliar with. Not that she cared, she still wanted to kill them. In the center was not a Cornucopia, but a Maple tree. Things were lying on the ground and up in the tree. She got into running stance.
Celestia looked around, then smiled. Time to kill, MoonCrest. 5.. Celestia smiled. She could handle this.. 4.. She grinned. She should be able to handle this. 3.. 2.. 1.., she will handle this.
At the gong, Celestia grabbed a bag that was right in front of her, and ran. She ran all the way to the ground. She picked up two sharp metal stakes, grinning. At first, she was going to let people live. But no. First, she slashed at the boy from D8's neck, making his head fall off. With her other arm, she elbowed a male tribute from 11. A strong man, no doubt. With that, she stabbed the boy, nearly trimming where his heart was. Lastly, the girl went for the district three female, who was running away. She ran over to the girl, walking up behind her. There, she pierced the girl's spine, slashing away even more, killing her. "Poor people, running for their lives and stuff." She said aloud, grinning as she went towards the big maple tree.

Celestia got: 1 Mesh Bag. 2 sharp metal stakes. She killed D8 Male, D11 Male, and D3 Female.

Norman felt impact on his back and just as he worried he realized he hadn't been stabbed or anything. He came to the realization that it was Aspen and he smirked. She was light and tiny so she was easy to carry. He lifted her up onto his shoulders so she could retrieve stuff from the tree. He just had to wait for her to grab it.

Aspen felt Norman lift her up and she soon saw the tree branches and she lifted herself up a bit and grabbed a backpack and slung it on her back. She then looked around and saw a canteen, that could be a game changer but only if she could reach it and then at that moment a light bulb went off in her head and she grabbed her metal stake and she used it to grab the canteen and then put her metal stake back and she lowered her self back onto his shoulders and then lowered herself onto his back in piggy back style again. "Lets go" She said and began scouting out a way out.

Ethan squeezed his eyes shut as he gatherd his mind together in the tube. He felt a rush in him, almost like he was supposed to kill. Obviously he was the faint-hearted kind of guy that tried to never hurt a soul. Ethan bit his lower lip as he rose higher into the arena as the anthem blaired in his ears. He shook his head as he stood in the open of the arena, with 23 other people who could kill him.

The boy's eyes flickered straight to the giant center piece of the arena: a tree. He scanned the supplies around it. But at first, only one thing caught his determined eyes: a mesh bag in front of him. His bag. He took his eyes off of it, looking at the tree and the clock ticking down in his periferal vision. A name kept forming in his head, though. 'Felicity.. er don't worry about her for now...' he told himself repeatedly. The clock was getting dangerously low...

10... 9... 8... 7... 6...

Ethan swallowed harshly. He never imagined himself doing this. Being in the Games, possibly killing people he never even met before. He was alone for most of the Capitol time. Besides, he thought he was in an even better situation with a 1 in Training. He probably wasn't found as a threat to anyone. It was good enough, right?

Ethan sprinted straight to the Tree. He picked up his bag first and headed for a metal stake. He gasped as he saw someone running for it and swung it at them, creating a lethal gash in their face. Ethan winced and quickly moved on to the tree to grab another bag.

Leda decided on her path up the tree and started climbing. She’d tucked her stake in her pants pocket for safe keeping, and stuffed the mesh sack down her shirt. Left hand on a branch, right leg on a knot on the base, pulling yourself up, clockwork. Leda had climbed trees before, but she was more used to climbing houses and walls. She nearly fell several times, but shimmied up the tree without too much difficulty. Leda felt around for a backpack and slipped one off of a branch. The problem was getting down. She climbed down to about two feet off the ground and jumped the rest of the way, but it had taken longer than she’d liked. Leda looked around for a place to escape to, unsure of what her future held but of course expecting a lot of violence to be involved somehow.

Once swiftly up the tree, Ethan snatched one from a branch and hastily jumped down, safely landing. He slung the bag on his left shoulder while he was running away from the cornucopia, but not without swinging his stake through the District Four female's throat. He suddenly liked the feeling of blood being splattered on his face. Ethan knew the Games would make him a different person, but he didn't know he would change this much. He halted to look in his backpack.

Celestia ran to the maple tree. She tried her hardest to reach for something, and finally felt something tip. A mysterious backpack fell down in front of her. Good thing she was pretty tall to reach it. She had to do a little climbing too. She smiled, picking it up. Now, it was time to go for the escape route. She didn't know if her district partner was alive, and nor did she care. She was alive, and that was all that mattered.

Travis took a deep breath as he was raised into the arena. He looked down at his clothing, wondering what kind ov environment it would be. He was guessing something like a frozen tundra or snowy terrain. His stylist left the jacket slightly unzipped, to make him look a little better he supposed. He sighed and looked around when he was finally in the arena. As he did so, he saw a forested area with a large tree in the center with items scattered across the ground and in the branches, a bit confused now as to why he was wearing winter clothing. He looked around, seeing who was closest to him, and realized that all the males were on one side and the the females were on the other. He smiled, noticing that there was a bag at his feet already, so he would at least have some supplies. For now, all he did was wait for the gong, looking to his allies and nodding.

Travis heard the gong sound and wasted no time in picking up the bag as he began to rush forward to the tree. He put the bag over his right shoulder and slowly managed to to get it over his left one as well before reaching the tree. He grabbed one of the metal stakes, turning around to see the male tribute from twelve rushing him. The first metal stake stabbed forth, but Travis knocked it to the side and then stabbed the boy from twelve in the neck, not even waiting for the life to diminish from his eyes before pulling the stake out and knocking him in the side of the face with the end of it. The district eleven boy also came for him as well, but was knocked to the side. He didn't know who was fighting him now, but didn't really care as he turned and ran off to find some more fighters. He saw the male tributes from district four and one locked in combat, and snuck up behind the one from four. He stabbed him in the back of the chest, aiming for where his heart is, and shoved him to the side as he lunged at the other boy, hoping to take him by surpirse. His weapon was blocked, and Travis's attack was met with a counter attack, a swing from the side. He smacked it away with his own stake and then stabbed the boy in the shoulder, took it out, and then stabbed him again in the head, not even feeling the blood spatter on him. He turned aroud, looking to the tree and saw a bag. He grinned and then began to climb, wondering what he would obtain.

Norman looked around and he saw an exit and then he bgan to sprint for it. He wanted to get out. He held on to Aspen and began to run out of the area as fast as he could and making sure Aspen didn't fall.

Aspen was laughing a bit as they went. The rush was hitting her in the face and she couldn't believe it. She held on for life hoping they'd get out of the area soon and fast. They had a good lead.

Leda spied a darker part of the forest in the distance and weighed her chances. She’d rather be hard to see and have a chance of being caught unawares then be out in the open. Besides, it didn’t seem like the the area that would be particularly popular. Leda sprinted away from the maple tree and slunk off into the woods, her mind set in full-on survival mode.

Ethan stuffed the stake and mesh bag into his mystery bag. He looked around, and saw no one. He sighed. He tuned around once again, then ran from the cornucopia.

Celestia smiled as she ran, but she was missing something.. the bag. All of them were, taken, her dumb imagination tricked her. She shrugged, deciding to go for another kill. She ran upto the girl from District Five, quickly thrusting the stake at her chest. It killed her. She then went back up to the tree and took a water canteen from it. It was very light in weight. Empty.

Celestia killed D5 Female and got a Water Canteen if there are any.

Travis cursed as he noticed all the bags were gone but then quickly grabbed for two of the water canteens, dropping to the ground and then stuffed them in the bag quickly. He looked around and picked up one more of the stakes, in case one of his allies didn't get one. Thinking of them, he began to look for them, and for a direction to go to get out.

Celestia was now getting ready to leave. There were still a few tributes left, but she didn't have all the strength in her. She walked around, kicking the head of the boy she had killed early. "I'm so sorry. That I'm not sorry. Hah." She said, walking away from the area. She made it through the first stage.

Celestia has left the Cornucopia.

Mira's heart pounded loudly in her eardrums as the clock counted down. She had done everything she could think of to allow her the best possible position so far. Anything else was up to the other tributes. As the clock counted down she scanned the area, spotting a variety of bags and metal stakes. She didn't know what they were going to be used for, but she could use one, right?

Once the gong sounded, she ran forward as fast as her legs could carry her. She reached for a mesh bag, then a metal stake, unsure of what they were for. The stake was sharp, sharp enough to be considered a weapon in Mira's mind. She wasn't sure though, everything was buzzing at the idea of being in the freaking Hunger Games. Dead bodies already littered the ground, blood splattered on the ground. She tried not to look at them as she figured which direction to go next.

Travis spotted his female ally from eight and jogged over to her and called, "Head's up!" before throwing her one of the empty canteens. He looked over his shoulder to make sure no one was coming towards them and then looked back to Mirabelle. "Thought I'd get that for you. Think of it as a gift. Now let's get out of here before someone else tries to pick us off." He turned and began to jog off into the forest, making sure that the girl was following.

Aspen realized something she wanted to get. She told Norman to wait there with the pack and canteen, and she just took her stake with her. She ran back into the corn, knowing Norman was safe somewhere for now and she sprinted up to the tree, and she began to climb it. Bieng from seve really helped. She saw it and smirked. A rope. She then looked around to make sure she was safe.

Mira hadn't even noticed Travis, who was walking towards her in between all of the chaos. The girl from eight could barely imagine that she had just witnessed several people being murdered, much less the fact that there was someone she knew that wasn't dead. She caught the canteen and gave him a quick smile, remembering the rush of the situation. "Thanks," the tribute said softly. Glancing behind her, she simply nodded before running after Travis into the forested area.

Aspen climbed down seeing the path. She saw barely anyone as she was running back two boys got in her way. She grabbed her stake out and she ran full force at them with the tip pointed out, and timed it with her motion of swing and then jabbed it between the two boys as she slid on the ground missing their attacks. Aspen pulled out the stake and then heard someone else and she threw her stake into the girls throat. Grabbing her stake out she ran back to where norman was and they left the area again.

Felicity looked around, she was pumped. Her blood was flowing, the adrenaline in he veins was wonderful. She started to look around and saw a Mesh Bag in front of her plate, she guessed she needed that and than get a Stake Knife. Felicity saw a Mystery Bag and was happy, she needed that too. She looked at her clothes and noticed that she was wearing a jacket, overalls, and boots. She noticed that it was like a forest, the arena. She than heard the gong sound, she ran. Picking up a Stake Knife and her Mesh Bag. She wanted to get a Mystery Backpack, but not now. Felicity was pumped, she than remembered Ethan. Where was he? She looked around wildly for the boy.

Eben heard the gong sound and ran towards the cornucopia. He picked up the mesh bag that sat in front of his platform. Once he reached the cornucopia he grabbed a metal stake. Then he looked around for other items, and tributes.

Felicity found Ethan running towards an area, she than followed him. She couldn't get anything else considering there was absolutely nothing else there, so she ran towards him. Felicity was so happy, Ethan didn't die which was a relief. And she didn't either, so they both got through. When Felicity got close enough to Ethan where she could jog she tripped and fell, she quickly got up and continued following Ethan to where they would finally meet.
