I stare at the lifeless body floating in the water. The girl had simply been flooded in, and Paris' attack had killed her. Shrugging slightly, I smile at Paris. "Well, more blood on our hands," I say with a slight chuckle. Staring around, I feel the water around my ankles. "You think they'll flood all of 'em here?" I ask her, tapping my sword on my leg.

((Just so you know, Tori, I was a little confused about your HP, so I actually went back from the VERY beginning and redid all the math with the dice. Victoria had lower HP than you have listed before she even got to this area - partially my fault, sorry, I told you 130 a while ago when it was 105 because I didn't realize you'd had other HP loss - and you didn't block Moon's critical hit, so whichever way you look at it, Victoria has run out of HP. If you like, though it's not required, you can write what we call a "death post" where you cannot use any dice as your character is already dead, but just have some final thoughts as a way to say goodbye to your character. Thanks!))

Victoria slumped to the ground after the strong hit from Paris and a cannon boomed in the distance. She was dead.

((Gee thanks for killing me :/, but i thank you for showing me how to play my first games! GG guys and may the best tribute win!!))

Victoria Jacklyn

Victoria had realized she was hit. She looked at the sky as she took her last breath. This was it she was done. She wished the stupid gamemakers never had this game to begin with panem should be a place for peace not violence and stupidty. Victoria thought I hope that a reveloution starts against the captiol to end this crazy violence. Victoria put three fingers in the air and whistled. She hoped her presence in the games has changed things. She started to see the light, but managed to say one last things to the tributes that were around her. " I want one of you guys to win." She said in vain. " I want Oceania dead. You hear me? I want both of you to go after her and Zeke and I want them dead." Victoria took one last gulp of air before the light came to her. She slowly closed her eyes and embraced the light shinning on her body.

This is my death post may Victoria rest in peace.

Paris Erickson
Paris raised an eyebrow at the girl as she spoke, hearing the names of the district four tributes. She guessed that they weren't in any better condition than they were, so the idea was appealing. However, a break would be nice. As the girl's body slumped into the water, crimson pooling at their feet, she turned to Jesse again. "I don't think so, not yet anyways. I think I'm going to climb something and sit down," she muttered. She turned to the square, searching for something to sit down on, like a cart or low hanging roof.

I watch Paris as she moves away from the girls body. I nod and follow her example, moving quietly behind her. "This is just the quiet before the storm," I mutter, looking around the town square. I sigh and wipe my right hand on my arm. Something felt odd about the entire situation and I wasn't one ready for what was to come.

Paris Erickson
Paris nodded grimly at Jesse's words. This wasn't the end, just a pause in the danger that was yet to come. She knew that the final dramatic battle would come soon, and be twice as worse as anything she had experienced before. Wounds were already present on her body, but Paris had a feeling she would be getting more. As she observed the square, she sat down on something, slowly running her fingers over the smooth edge of her blade.

I follow Paris a bit, until she sat down. Taking up position beside her, I look over the town again and tap my blade on my shoe. An ominous possibility hung over my head and I fight not to tell Paris. "You don't think they are waiting on us to fight, do you?" I blurt the question out after trying to hold it back. "Maybe that's why it's so quiet," I say sighing. Leaning back, I stare forward. I hear the water still rushing, flooding into the town, but my eyes are fixed ahead. Watching. Waiting.

Another cannon went off in the distance. If the tributes counted correctly, they could realize that only five tributes were left.

Paris Erickson
Paris' head snapped up at the sound of a canon. The boom seemed to echo in her mind, as if she had just registered the true meaning of the noise. Death. She hadn't felt bad for the deaths she had stolen; she wouldn't have done anything differently if given another chance to redo the games. Sighing, the tribute looked from her sword to the boy next to her, deciding that she wouldn't run him in with her blade. "I'm not in the mood," the teenager replied lamely. "I mean, if they want blood, I have some on my shoes," Paris added, laughing at her own pathetic joke. In all honesty, she wanted to keep Jesse alive so if something happened, she would be able to have someone fighting with her. Paris wasn't stupid; she figured that if there were still three others out there, they wouldn't be pleased to see her breathing.

Upon hearing the cannon, I look to Paris. "That makes five now?" I ask, glancing down after. I had noticed her glancing at her sword, but I'm not going to let her know. She attempted to make a joke, and I return it with a light chuckle. "That water has plenty of blood too," I say with a smile. Jamming my sword into the ground, I stretch, popping my back. "It is at least us, plus the other three," I bite my lip. "You don't think they are working together, do you?" I ask, the question lingering disgustingly on my lips.

The water started to pool around their feet. Apparently it was still flowing in from the forest. Soon it was up to their knees, pushing them gently and slowly towards the other side of town.

Paris Erickson
Paris nodded. Five left. That gave her a what... twenty percent chance of making it home? While those odds were improved, they were still threatening. While Jesse's point was completely relevant, she hoped that the remaining three weren't fighting together. If they were, that only made her odds of surviving worse. They couldn't handle three people in a fight... could they? Personally, Paris didn't want to find out. As the water rose, she looked in the direction that it was pushing them. She stood up, deciding to follow the water. "We should probably find higher ground," the tribute reasoned.

Yanking my sword from the ground, I nod. The water was tugging on my ankles, attempting to guide me across the grounds. "Higher ground is good," I mutter, remembering the flooding ground around us. I step in the direction the water is pointing, letting it guide me. "Higher ground might equal better odds of witnessing the others fighting," I jokingly say, my slight optimism getting the better of me. I shouldn't be so optimistic, but I feel like it's the best way to be in the current situation.

As the water level continued to rise, the tributes came upon a tall building that looked sturdy enough to climb. They might be trapped if they used it instead of higher ground, but if they kept walking and didn't find anything better in time, they might drown.

Paris Erickson
Paris walked along, trudging against the water. She saw a tall building, that seemed stable enough. While she was all for waiting the people out, she wasn't sure how stable the building actually was. Who knew what could be lurking in those shadows? "Should we use this?" the tribute asked, turning to Jesse as the water continued to go higher up her waist. She felt a similar glob of panic set in her throat at the idea of drowning as she flicked her gaze to the tower again, hoping he would answer soon.

The water was growing uncomfortably high around my legs, and I'm sure Paris felt the same way. As we came across a building, I placed my hands against its side and looked up. I attempt to slide to the side of the building and look around, but the water was worrisome. Looking up at the building again, I nod at Paris' question. "It's out best shot to get out of the water," I say. Gripping onto the side of the building, I look for handholds to get up. "Better safe than sorry," I mutter, looking towards Paris.

The building is easy enough to climb and the tributes will soon reach the top.

Paris Erickson
Paris nodded, she would rather be safe than dead. The water continued to rise, which only solidified her choice of climbing the building. She reached for holds and began climbing, her moves slow and decisive. The girl wanted to ensure she wouldn't fall to her death. "I wonder what we'll see up here," she muttered, speaking mostly to herself. Technically, the tribute hadn't gotten past the town's walls, and had no idea what was in the rest of the arena. She continued to make her way up, and eventually pulled herself to the top of the building.

I climb my way to the top in silence. The waves were still crashing against the bottom of the building, giving me an eerie feeling that plummeting to my death is a high possibility. I look upwards, not far from the top now, and I give a sigh of relief. I don't even bother looking for Paris, she had likely made it to the top before I did. That's when the scary thought of Paris kicking me to my doom jumped through my head. Looking up, I watched as I climbed now. As I made it to the top, I peered over the edge, making sure she wasn't there. I should trust her more, but there was any chance that'd she turn on me. Pulling myself onto the top of it, I roll onto the building. Sitting up, I look around and make sure Paris had made it up.

From what the tributes could see, almost the entire arena was covered in water. THe building started to shake and sway under their weight and the force of the water. The water level continued to rise. Soon it would only be able to support one person.

((Moon has permission to use execution die on Raivy, given by both myself/the GM and Raiv/the other tribute in this special case.))

Paris Erickson
Paris looked to see all of the arena covered in a sea of endless water, as if they were atop the only structure left on the world. She inhaled a breath, walking away from the edge of the building. She did not want to fall off this thing. Turning around, she saw Jesse had just finished his way up. Opening her mouth to speak, she felt the building sway and shake, as if an earthquake had rocked through the arena. Paris' eyes were wide as she balanced herself, looking over at her previous ally. There was only room for one on this roof, and it was going to be her. "So, Jesse, you wouldn't mind going back down, right?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at the boy as she walked closer to him. "Because I did not volunteer to drown," she stated venomously, kicking at him, aiming for his chest. Hopefully that would knock him off balance enough to send him down into the thrashing blue below.

Jesse's cannon goes off and Paris is left alone on the building. The water begins to subside and leave the arena dry again.
