25/02/12

Alright guys, so as of now, since we have gotten ourselves back on the forum, us admins have:

1. Made a to-do list
2. Updated the look of the forum slightly
3. Cleaned out most of the boards
4. Begun getting members onto the site
5. Started talks of the Arena for the 27th games
6. Are making preliminary notes for possible staff
7. Done District Descriptions for 4, 7, 8, 9, and gotten the help of Lily 8D and Rccheetah to do 5 and 1

In the near future we will be working on:

1. Bringing staff into being
2. Making pages to explain how games work(Dice, day changes, etc...)
3. Doing district descriptions for 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12
4. Getting even more members
5. Do more work on the next arena
6. Try to get a timetable on the next games ready
7. Restarting the List of people in the districts topic

I hope I've been informative enough for you guys, and remember, when making a character, please take into consideration how few people are in each district so we can have tributes from each.

So for this update, the staff has:

1. Posted a new Character list topic
2. Decided on the design for the Arena begun putting together the sections of it.
3. Revised the Dice functions
4. Finished almost all of the District Descriptions(With some member help.)

4 Big things right there!

We are currently working on a couple of things:
1. Updating the actual dice
2. How the Hunger and thirst functions will work in the arena
3. The How-To pages
4. Advertising
5. District Perks

Population Update:

So, the amount of characters has seen a slight boom in 7, 4 has gained a few as well. The other districts could still really use characters everyone!

So, we are quite close to being prepared for the games!
We've now finished all of the district descriptions, finished the arena and supply list for the cornucopia, and have gotten over half of the work on the dice finished.

We've hit a speed bump with the images for the dice, but we will be dealing with it shortly. The District Perks are finished, and will be announced soon.

We're still brainstorming for the hunger and thirst, but it shouldn't take long once we focus on it for a bit.

Glad to see the character list filling out, with luck, we can get back solid member-base before the reapings and have a full 24 tributes!

So, all of the most important stuff has been done, we are now shifting our focus to a page that will explain how to use the dice in the games and rules for the games.

We are having a Staff meeting in 40 minutes or so, and we will be sorting out priorities there.

Just a question, but could you by any chance explain the point system? I haven't found anything about it yet... I could be blind though

It just gives you points for certain things.

One point per post, three per topic, twenty per friend, I think 5 per day registered, etc...
