Auralee's eyes widened even more than usual as the party made their way through the hallway of a house of mirrors. Auralee had never seen so many mirrors in one place before. "Where are we?" she wondered aloud, not really asking anyone in particular, though she thought the little girl might know. She looked around more carefully, keeping an eye out for any would-be attackers. "Um..." Auralee felt like she should speak, but didn't quite know what to say. She caught a glance of her reflection and winced. Auralee didn't really want to see herself here.

Leon had followed the little girl and the clown to what looked like a hallway...with a lot of mirrors. He looked around at his reflection, smiling when he saw how amazing he looked with a red clown nose. The clothes were still a little iffy, but they were still clothes. And the blood spatters from before were pretty bad, but that wasn't too important. All of a sudden, Leon remembered his chicken and checked it to see if it was damaged in the fight. Meanwhile, Auralee was asking about their location so Leon turned to the little girl, figuring she had the answer.

The tributes climbed into the Hallway from the outside and the girl chimed, "A shortcut!" Auralee's reflection seem to smile at her with serenity and The rubber chicken was looking spiffy as always. Bloody, but spiffy. However, both Mr Clown and the little girl didn't have any reflections show at all.

Auralee turned back to look at the little girl as she spoke and got distracted by her reflection. She'd seen herself plenty of times before, in puddles and glass and reflective shards, but never so clearly. It was a bit unnerving, and reminded her of the tribute parade, except without the extravagant makeup. The vest she'd been put in was rather tacky, as she'd heard people say, which scared her a little combined with that macabre atmosphere of the death games. Leon's reflection looked just as silly as he did in real life with his red clown nose, and Auralee couldn't help but notice that the little girl and clown were missing in the glass. "There's nothing..." she trailed off, not wanting t be rude.

Leon smiled when he saw his chicken was doing fine and put it over his shoulder, whistling as they continued on their way. Leon looked at the mirrors again and saw that the clown and girl were missing. "Hey, you guys don't have reflections...are these really mirrors?" He squinted his eyes slightly, glaring at the mirrors as he crossed his arms almost childishly.

The little girl giggled to herself, not replying to any of the tributes for her own amusement. The Clown finally spoke again, soft, quiet words, "The mirrors reveal the other side of yourself you do not accept. We have accepted it all." They continued to walk forward, leading them through the small confined walls. But Leon could've sworn he saw his reflection look straight into his eyes and smirked.

Auralee nodded slowly. That made sense, and she was glad the clown was there to explain, but she was still a bit confused. "Good for you," she said honestly, proud of the creatures for accepting themselves. "But I don't... I mean, it just looks like me. I don't understand." Auralee knew there were parts of herself she should be more accepting of, like most people she knew, but she didn't think she didn't accept any of herself, if that was what the mirror was implying. Maybe I just can't tell what it's like yet, she rationalized. Auralee squinted at her reflection, trying to discern what it was that she was not accepting of.

Once the clown spoke, Leon watched the mirrors as he did so. He heard the clown inform them that the mirrors reflected the part they didn't accept to which Leon shrugged. "Doesn't seem like it to me...I accept all of me. Nothing to hide from me." Leon smiled and waved at his reflection, knowing what he said wasn't true. There was still one thing about him he refused to believe, but somewhere inside knew was true. It wasn't until reaping day that he really started thinking about it but...no. He told himself he wouldn't think about her or the situation he was in anymore. He wasn't going to let anything get his spirits low. Nothing ever had and nothing ever would.

The Clown smiled and shrugged, going through the thinning area as the tributes didn't seem to comprehend the possibilty. "Liiieesss," One of their reflections each whispered to them, also inaudible. The Screw Girl opened her mouth but shut them again when she heard the whispers, quickening her pace.

Auralee was quiet until she heard her reflection whisper something. "Excuse me?" she asked, leaning closer. Lies, she realized suddenly. It said I was lying. But I'm not, am I? I didn't mean to. Auralee spent one more second gazing at the mirror before turning and following after the little girl. "Is something wrong?" Auralee wondered, concerned by the increasing speed of the girl's pace. Reflections flickered past in her peripheral vision, reminding her of the whisper. I know I don't like everything about myself, but I've accepted that. I've accepted my lack of acceptance. I'm fine with that. Does that count? Apparently, Auralee was realizing, it didn't.

Leon looked back at one of his reflections as he heard a faint whisper, tensing up for a moment but then relaxed again. The game makers were just messing with them, that's all. There was no way they could read his mind...right? I mean, sure the Capitol had advanced but not that advanced. Leon simply shrugged it off, now paying attention to their quickening pace. He was about to ask if everything was alright when Auralee asked herself, so he stayed quiet and listened.

The Girl strode bigger steps and reached towards a door. She shook her head and smiled to the big sister who cared for her momentarily. She tried to pull it open but it was locked. "Huh? ..but it's never locked..." The Clown examined the door, slightly old and uncared for. "Liiieeeeeessss." Another whisper filled the corner of the hall. Perhaps a key would do on this back door.

Auralee smiled at the little girl, feeling a little rush of adrenaline at the girl's seeming temporary acceptance of her. The lack of violence so far surprised her, but she much preferred it to her expectations so far. She squinted at the door, then tried the handle herself to no avail ~~I'm assuming~~. "Hmm... we didn't get any keys, did we?" She asked, checking over her supplies again and glancing at Leon in expectation of his doing the same. "Maybe there's something in the mirrors. You know, discover what you truly think of yourself or something and find the key?" she suggested shakily. The idea felt a bit far-fetched, but she figured you never knew with the Hunger Games. Auralee turned back to her reflection, shuddering when she heard another accusation in the wind. "Okay, um, so this is probably really stupid, but... hi. I'm Auralee. Aurie. Anything's fine. I guess you knew that, since you're me, right? Though that's not something I'm ashamed of... I don't know. I'm confused, to be honest, and talking to myself probably isn't helpful, but I had to try something. So, um, it'd be really helpful if you could show me, you know, what part of me I can't accept? Please?"

Leon began to go through his bag and pockets, looking for a key of some sort for the door. He noticed Auralee trying a different approach for the door and smiled, nodding to her. That could also be the key but...could he really just say what had been on his mind? It had been starting to come back but, well...he wasn't too keen on sharing it yet, even if it was their way out. He could try giving tidbits at least...he shrugged and waited for Auralee to finish before looking at his reflection and saying, "Hiya there me...you already know that the Games have impacted me more than I've been trying to let on...and also that hole inside of me that I'm trying to fill with smiles but that ain't to important." He chuckled, but as he did he could see in his eyes that happiness wasn't there as much as another emotion was.

Both the girl and clown took a step back, wary of the tributes reflections as they began conversing with them. The reflections blinked back at them, not expecting of such words. The reflection of Auralee didn't say anything, darting her eyes to behind the tribute before glancing back. The other reflection of Leon however, was much more chatty, "But it is. I hate you. I hate you so much but you always deny the truth."

Auralee was turning around to look behind her when she heard Leon's voice, though his mouth clearly wasn't moving and he was saying some particularly spiteful things. Auralee glanced around and saw that the reflection of Leon was indeed speaking. This startled her, though she supposed she should have expected it after talking to them initially. She jumped back a bit, keeping a wary eye on her own in case it decided to speak. "Is there something behind me?" she asked carefully, wondering if her reflection was signifying the little girl, or something about the clown or the locked door or even Leon. "Are you scared? It's okay, I don't want to hurt you."

Lorcan could hear voices further down the hall. He walked slowly towards where they were coming from. He wanted to be careful, not to make any bad movements. He tried to see who it was, but he couldn't make out any faces. There however was two voices, one male and the other female.

His reflection began to speak, getting another laugh from Leon from what he had said. He shook his head and looked down for a moment before looking back up, his smile gone. "My reflection saying that he hates me, huh? Well...I guess there is a certain part of me I hate. Must be mutual then...I suppose you could say I hate what a certain part of me thinks...like that it's okay to kill innocent people just to survive. But hey, using smiles and music is what allows me to just bypass all those negative feelings right? Well one doesn't simply bypass feelings...they just block them from getting away with a barrier. But hell, when that barrier gets broken everything gets flooded. I told myself the Games wouldn't change me until I get out, whether by surviving or dying. Even though I may seem like a different person, it's still me. It's just the part I didn't want people to see. Leon stopped and stepped back to breathe for a moment. He looked over to the little girl, then to the clown and then at Auralee before finally looking away again, sighing. He didn't want anyone to know he wasn't as happy-go-lucky as he made himself out to be...but hey, that part still existed right? No reason it still couldn't stick around. Leon put on a smile again and waved to his reflection before turning back to the group and said, "So...guys...any idea where we can find this key?"

Auralee's reflection subtly shook her head, almost not visible, and she continued to glance behind the real one's shoulder. Not a word out of her mouth. The Girl and the Clown were just as confused, the girl trying to push her away through the door while the Clown, much more calmer, silently looked out their area. Leon's mirror just spat back at him in a low soft, shaky voice, "..You're a liar. Everything is a lie." Lorcan was still unseen by the other tributes but neither can he see them, he could hear their voice very distinctly, but it sounded like the guys was talking to himself.

Auralee didn't know what her reflection was trying to tell her. Was she looking at Leon? Whatever was behind the door? Another reflection? Some mutt about to leap out an attack? Auralee hoped it wasn't a mutt. She felt okay, but definitely weakned after the battle with the girl and the clown. Her thoughts were interrupted by some rather serious talk coming from Leon. Aurie curled her lips in together, feeling a bit uncomfortable. Se got along with Leon, but they weren't exactly close, and now she knew some internal stuff she didn't really feel like she had a right to hear. She wanted to say something, apologize, hug him, just make some appropriate response to the expression of emotion, but she had no idea what to do. She froze for a minute until he smiled it off and changed the subject. "Um, I have no idea," she replied after a pause. Auralee looked at her reflection. "Do you know where the key is?"

Lorcan continued walking down the long hallway, listening to the voices as he moved. He tried tried to make out what they were saying but they were still too far away. He knew he had to be careful, just in case they were not humans. Lorcan could see that there were more mirrors up ahead, it made him feel a little uneasy, but he pushed on anyways.

Leon sensed a bit of tension in the air after his rant and sighed, shaking his head. He smiled when his reflection called him a liar and he made eye contact with his reflection saying, "Don't be so ignorant now bud. You know I'm telling the truth. And I didn't need to...and wasn't expected to." He laughed to himself and looked back at his group, his cheery smile back now. "So, should we go ahead and search for that key?"

Just as Leon asked they heard to light footsteps of another. when no one else was moving. The sound came from where they first came from and they noticed Lorcan, further back, without a reflection.

Auralee turned at the sound of someone or something behind them. She momentarily forgot about her reflection as she diverted her attention. It seemed to be a tribute, though from what district she couldn't be sure. She kept a wary eye on both the tribute and the clown and the little girl, unsure how they were react. She wondered if this was what her reflection had been scared of. "Hello?" she called out, peering into the darkness to try and make out the full form of the figure.

Lorcan was finally able to make out two figures. One was a girl, and the other a boy. He was still unable to make out any other details, and didnt know what district they were both from. He heard the girl call out to him. "Hello." He answered back continuing to walk towards them, slowly.
