Auralee blinked in the light. The mirrors were gone now, and she wondered briefly what her reflection had been scared of. Maybe killing, maybe herself. Maybe the boy. It didn't matter now, though. One death wasn't enough, and soon the gamemakers would want something more. Another kill, another mutt, more drama, more mental breakdowns. Auralee was fairly sure she could manage at least one of those, but there was another she didn't even want to think about. She looked around to examine her surroundings and distract her mind.

Leon followed after Auralee, squinting as they emerged into an illuminated area with no more mirrors. He followed after her, blinking a few times to get his eyes adjusted to the light. Truth be told, he was glad to be away from all those mirrors. He wasn't sure if it was the fight that was getting to him or the reflections, but both had been factors in his discomfort. Either way, he didn't exactly feel the same as he looked around the room they were in now. Once he scanned the area, he said briefly, "Those colors sure are bright, huh?" His normal smile was gone, and he was squinting his eyes slightly. He didn't realize exactly what it was, but something felt...off. Not really with the area but with him. He immediately dismissed it though, and began to search the room for anything that might be of value, whether it be food, water, or another weapon. Anything would help at this point in all honesty.

The dim-lit room the tributes found themselves walking into felt too small for them, but it wasn't the space. Donned with lab skeletons, cute cartoon red blood cells and all sorts of weird looking things. It felt like they didn't belong in here, but a faint giggle welcomed them.

Auralee nodded at her partner's observation. "It's a nice change from constant reminders of identity," she muttered, keeping the words light under her breath. She felt very small. She'd always felt small, like that kid in the corner at the market who stands there in silence as dozens of people flurry around him like he's not even there, like a shadow. She'd never minded, so in a way, this room felt more comfortable. That impression didn't last, though. The colors were a bit too bright, and the medical jumbo was weird, and she could swear she'd heard a child laughing.

Leon heard the girl from district six say something about the room being a nice change from being reminded of their identity to which he smile slightly and replied, "Yeah, well...I can't exactly be reminded of something I'm not sure of." He said it quietly, but he was sure his voice still got picked up by some sort of device hidden in the room so everyone watching could hear. Leon wandered around the room, looking at all the weird decorations that were scattered across the room. He approached a skeleton, and wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if it jumped out at him, but before anything else happened he heard laughing somewhere. His head quickly snapped around to scan the room once more, not entirely sure about what he was looking for, before setting his gaze on Auralee and asked, "You heard that too, right?"

Shhhhhhh, a shushing sound float past them, playing hide and seek with the tributes. However, the skeleton innocently stared back at him.

Auralee shuddered. "Definitely heard that," she confirmed with a nod. She hoped the giggles and whispers and 'shhhhh' sounds were just sound effects, but she doubted it would be that easy. Soon the gamemakers would send something else after them, something not as easily defeated as a lone tribute against the two of them or mutts who liked music enough to let them live to hear it. Auralee was exhausted. She hadn't wanted to play these games in the first place, and she certainly didn't want to anymore. She wished she could give up, collapse on the floor in tears and squeeze her eyes shut and open them up when she was back home. She wished it had all been a very bad dream. But I can't, and it wasn't, and it still isn't, and we have to stay strong. I have to stay strong. Ish. She inhaled slowly to calm herself and continued to examine the room for anything useful.

Leon jumped when he heard the hushing noise, whipping around, ready to slap someone with his rubber chicken. However, when he looked, he only saw Auralee and he raised an eyebrow. "What the hell is that?" He loosened up again and stood up straight, looking around the room for a place where the noise was originating from. It certainly gave him an uneasy feeling, one he surprisingly hadn't really felt in the Games thus far, even when they fought the clown and little girl and when his reflection yelled at him. However, something was definitely off...though what it was, he couldn't really say.

District Ten Tribute

WHOOSH! CRASH! Then darkness all around him. All Dane could really remember when he pulled off what seemed like a sack was twisting the cap back onto his sippy cup full of purple liquid then the darkness. From there he fell after being pulled forwards and without the ability to move his body fully he fell backwards, knocking his head; only hearing the sounds of laughter and a lullaby as he slipped off. But not before whispering "Lun....a....?" Had she betrayed him, or was she blindsided as well?

Dane's eyes were now shot open, surrounded by things that seemed to be smaller then most 'normal' sized items of these nature as if they were miniaturized for children. The Kids' Area was where they must be now, he could remember the map that they had seen after they first got out of the Tunnel of Love. How did he get there though? He thought it over as he rubbed the side of his head, his shaggy brown hair popping up in between the gaps of his fingers. Looking over his shoulder he saw another bag with Luna popping out of it, and he let out a relieved sigh. At least they were in this together. "Dollface? You ok over there? I think we...." His words trailed off as he turned around and saw two tributes in front of him, a boy and a girl. He hadn't seen them in the games so far and Dane could sort of remember them in training, but honestly it felt so long ago that the training gym seemed like years ago, not months and weeks ago.

Dane got up slowly turning to Luna with his hand outstretched to her to help her up. He wasn't sure what to make of this, but he had a feeling he knew what was happening. They must be towards the end, another cannon had sounded recently and even though he was unsure of how many had died at this point, but they must be at like last 5 or 6. The Gamemakers were corralling the remaining tributes all together, getting them to fight. Dane was more surprised that he had gotten this far, actually he was sure that most people were probably surprised by the Casanova from District 10. He looked over to Luna again now that she had gained her bearings again, raising his eyebrow to get her opinion. He knew they were going to have to fight, to draw blood once more just like with the last two tributes they encountered. But it came down to how to deal with this new threat. Plus they may be joined by another tribute or two, after all he only spied 4 tributes in the room and if he remembered correctly there was at least another tribute running around.

"Soooo....how we all doin' today?" Dane's words were as light as he could make them, trying to cut the very palpable tension in the room he was forced into. He grinned, and threw a wink over to the female now across from him. Even in danger of fighting for his life he still couldn't hold back his flirty nature. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because you are an Angel fallen to Earth."

The sound of children singing and laughing accompanied the sack that was forced over her head. She wriggled in the bag as it was roughly dragged around. Everything was dark. There were no signs of Dane. Luna's breathing grew shallow as she hugged her weapons close, curling up into a ball as she was tossed out. Her bottom took the brunt of the fall, and she winced as she scrambled out of the bag. Holding back a whimper, she gently dropped her knives on the ground and blinked at her new surroundings.

She was indoors surrounded by shrunken toys and gadgets. "Dollface? You okay over there? I think we..." Dane's voice faded. Luna turned to see why he had suddenly grown quiet and froze. Two tributes stood in front of the duo bearing weapons of their own. No, no, no, not another fight, not another death. She grasped her partner's outstretched hand and pulled herself to her feet, replying to his raised eyebrows with a small grimace.

Her hands twirled the knives nervously. Why now? Pretty much all the tributes she'd run across had been seen by chance. Why are the Gamemakers rounding up all the tributes now? Before she was able to ask the stupid question, she mentally smacked herself. First of all, don't talk to strangers. Secondly, you're the final few tributes. The Capitol wants action. They want blood, death, drama.

Luna inched behind Dane as he began to speak. He's the talker. He'll say something. "Soooo....how we all doin' today?" Despite the threat of having the fight to the death, Luna fought the urge to laugh. Out of all things to say, that pops out of Dane's mouth. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because you are an Angel fallen to Earth." It was Luna's turn to raise an eyebrow. Out of all times to flirt too.

Lacey felt herself getting dragged for a while. She gave up her attempts of thrashing around to try and get herself released. When she did, though, she heard a few voices. She rolled her eyes, annoyed. Why did the Game Makers have to always threat a fight with her? She tried to stay hidden behind anything, out of the tributes' views. She didn't want a fight now. She was still focused on staying alive.

The voices sounded like there were about 4 tributes. Not good. If they found Lacey, they'd probably all gang up on her first. Just test my freaking luck, she thought to herself sarcastically. Frankly, she wasn't thinking too well about the following events happening. Sure, the Game Makers wanted it over with and have a victor but really, so soon? Lacey just kept herself where she was in an attempt of hiding at this point. Maybe, if she could, she'd try to get on the tributes' good sides so she could have a small chance of not dying first.

The voices started to creep into their room as the initial two tributes explored and when new tributes came in, they never stopped. Dane's flirting failed so badly, people could almost here the facepalm of his mentor all the way back at the Capitol. When the last tribute was pulled in, they heard doors slamming shut, the song continued to haunt them all.

Auralee's eyes grew even wider than they naturally were when when they were joined by two other tributes. She looked from Leon back to the newcomers, scanning them quickly. They looked vaguely familiar, of course, but she hadn't encountered them yet, and she didn't know which districts they were from. Auralee's limbs were tense, as she knew that the amount of tributes must be dwindling, and that meant even more pressure to kill. She didn't want to part with Leon, but she also didn't want to fight the newcomers. The boy before was alone, and the odds were sickeningly in their favor against his, but now she wasn't sure. It felt unfair to have to fight again so soon. She still hadn't dealt with the moral repercussions of the last fight, and she doubted she ever would even if she lived through these Games and for a long, long time, and now they had to fight again. One of the other tributes spoke and Auralee was severely confused. Perhaps he hit his head at some point, she theorized. She'd never been flirted with before, at least, not knowingly, and she was completely oblivious."What? I- we were fighting another tribute, I didn't fall... I mean it kind of hurts, I guess, I don't know, I'm sort of distracted, I, um, are you hurt? I don't know... what you're saying... I-um, thanks?" she stammered, wincing at her own incoherency. "I don't, um-" Auralee's rambling was interrupted by the sound of the doors slamming shut. She spun around and thought she saw a shadow in the corner, and instinctively screamed and jabbed at it with her knife.

((Not sure if we're allowed to see Lacey yet, but if so, attack to Lacey. If not, just pretend she totally missed and swung at a random shadow that wasn't actually a person.))

Dane blinked as the girl he would simply call 'Angel' seemed to stumble over her words after his attempts at charming her over. Had he failed that miserably? And what was that in the distance? The sound of a distant hand smacking against the forehead of someone he knows? No matter what though there was a sound coming from the shadows after the quite loud slamming of gates to lock them in. They all must be here now, all the tributes. This was the final fight, there was no more running and no more hiding, only finishing and tying up loose ends. "Did anyone else hear that?" He turned to Luna, who seemed to be the only person he could trust as far as he could throw in this room, eyebrow raised at their situation.

Dane hadn't gotten a chance to even really react or think before 'Angel' screamed and swung at a glob in the corner, hidden in the shadows. "Oh not again!" Dane swung his axe, aiming for the globby shadow in the corner, hoping mainly that a gross mutt wasn't coming back to join him and end him once and for all.

Leon had noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and immediately turned his gaze to look at what it was, seeing two newcomers enter the room. Leon put his blood stained rubber chicken over his shoulder, and would've made for a menacing sight if not for the red clown nose that he had on and the backpack. He was about to look to Auralee to signal her to start attacking, but then the male tribute asked how they were doing. Leon stared at the guy for a few seconds, not exactly sure how to respond. It was a pretty stupid question to him, since they were in the Games and all, but before he could say anything else the boy then said some sort of stupid pick up line directed to Auralee. Any other day, Leon would've laughed and gone along with it, but not now. Now was not the time for jokes and laughs. Those days were over.

Leon was about to attack one of the tributes as Auralee stumbled for words, but then she turned around and screamed, making Leon turn as well. He saw a shadowed figure, wondering if it was some sort of mutt...but that wouldn't make sense considering they were all there. Then the male tribute swung his axe at the figure as well, wondering what the 'Oh not again!' was about. However, Leon immediately dismissed it and spun his rubber chicken around, slamming it towards the figure as well. If it turned out to be a tribute then...well, one less to deal with.

Luna wasn't given a chance to reply to Dane's raised eyebrows as the tributes suddenly attacked a shadow near the wall. Not much of the figure was visible from her angle, but she took her cue from Dane and jabbed her knife in the general direction, shutting her eyes. If it was another tribute, he or she would be dead by now. After all, not many can survive four strikes alone. If it was a mutt, good riddance. The half-rope dug into her heel as a reminder of the wall and the memories that came along with it. The bite. The splash. The stupid rope. Luna stepped towards Dane and raised her small weapon. If the vague shape was only an illusion, well, maybe they could all hallucinate and go crazy together. As long as the new tributes didn't speak to her, of course. Anything but that.

Lacey recoiled as she saw the tributes attack her. Of course, she thought to herself. Yes, she was going to die soon. The girl knew it herself. But, she wouldn't dare admit it just yet. The girl would fight until the end, because, well, maybe she could get something good from it. She let the one girl's attack hit her - mostly because she didn't see her coming at her - and she attempted to duck at the boy's attack and make one of her own, swinging freely around, trying to make a mark on any of them.

so um-- blocking Nix's attack and uh attacking whoever has the lowest HP-- pretty sure it's Nix atm but yea so both to Nix xD ~~sorry~~
