TV Shows!!

so this is what Ari does at 4am in the morning

BUT HEY TV! <3 my lectures are always talking about the tv and all and when we talk about US and UK tv shows our lecturers are always like "lawl nope, let's talk about boring local shows that aren't never gonna make it far because that's where you suckers are prolly gonna end up and not in LA."

- and well, who doesn't like Avatar the last air bender?

Woo.. Television.. aka Mugsy and Ari are old and the rest of you are probably young and watch things I've never heard of.. ps. Avatar is a movie you crazy kids


Because Muggs is old she will colour code her favs, Green is fine for everyone, Orange is PG/M rated, Red is Adults only k.. no blaming me for ruining innocent minds now eh?

Anyway my absolute favourite TV show of all time is Rage which sadly is a Australian exclusive that I shall now try and explain to you poor things who have never had it.

Youknow MTV right? Well in Australia we don't really have much cable TV so instead looong before MTV we had Rage. Now okay lets try to imagine if MTV it was free for everyone with no ads and interruptions.. actually no host either except on Saturday when muso's would be sitting on a couch telling stories and picking their favourite songs to play the whole night, it ran only on weekends late at night and of a early morning and could play anything from brand new songs to super old things and lots of weirdness in between. Now imagine sitting on the couch with your mates and some late night popcorn and pizza to discover a whole heap of music you've never heard..both new and old while suffering major sleep deprivation to see what song would be on next as you tried to stay up all night.

That's rage!

My other fave is Good Game/Spawn Point which is kind of like a movie review program for video games.. you can watch it on Youtube these days too

There's also Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventure (which is a parody of The Bush Tucker Man who was a childhood hero of mine.. also a useful show if you want to survive in The Hunger Games too ), oh and talking of kids shows The Jeanie From Downunder and The Ferals are both awesome.. abet kinda old now..but you can probably still find them on youtube. While you're there go hunt down Round The Twist which was a brilliant series based on Paul Jennings' novels, The Jeanie from Downunder (love this series!)

Umm for other TV I love Scifi stuff so Battlestar Galatica (obviously), Firefly, Stargate for lols, The X-Files and Heros. I also grew up on Doctor Who and loved Torchwood.

Drama like Sherlock (by the same folks as Doctor Who), House, Life on Mars (UK) and Game of Thrones.. though it's also kind of annoying and very gory/nasty so adults only I'm afraid. We get a heap of BBC series's here so I tend to watch that. I also quite liked Once Upon A Time for being rather clever.

For Lols I like Monty Python's Flying Circus (a little bit naughty), Daria, The IT Crowd (UK again), The Office (UK only thnx), The Chaser/The Checkout (Aussie and very naughty) and Blackadder (UK). I also love the original Australian Wilfred, The Colbert Report, and of course there's Top Gear UK which is a very silly car show.

Finally I loove anything with David Attenborough invoved.. because he is totally amazing and will blow your mind, same with Bryan Cox talking about space. I really like Grand Design which is a BBC show about people building their dream homes in odd ways because the host's voice is like super soothing after a long day at work and From The Basement.. which is another music show.

Ugh, you just haaaad to ask... I'm afraid I can't answer that question. There are toooo many. Sites like Hulu have allowed me a limitless opportunity to rot my brain and fangirl over things, and I just hate listing things and forgetting something and then thinking of it later and ugh. So just know that if it's a TV show available in America of the same general caliber of Ari's and all you guys', I probably watch it or have watched in the past at some point. That's an overstatement, but you get my point. I never used to watch a bunch of TV, but there are just so many STORIES and I need to see them aaaalllll.

Wait wait wait, hold up. Mugsy, you're in Australia too? Gosh, how did I not know this?

As for TV shows, well I watch a whole bunch I probably shouldn't be watching at my age. Like Game of Thrones. I love that show, even if the DVDs are rated R and all the episodes are MA. I've also read all the books, so yeah.

As for more appropriate shows, I watch Doctor Who, I used to watch iCarly before it ended, ummm The Simpsons and Futurama.

Then I watch a whole bunch of murder mystery shows (mostly from BBC in the UK) because my mum loves them. That includes New Tricks, Silent Witness and some others. Speaking of the UK I also watch Grand Designs occasionally (coz my mum loves it too).

I also have some shows that I unwillingly soak in, as my brother watches them while we're eating dinner. That in includes Adventure Time, Amazing Wolrd of Gumball both of which I now hate with a passion.

Oh, I also watch Mad as Hell, but that's only in Australia, so yeah.

Oh gosh, there is so many to choose from. I usually watch a lot of Talent shows, like Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor and The Voice UK. I also love a good laugh, like with shows like The Simpsons and what is probably my favourite TV Show, The Big Bang Theory. I really want to watch Doctor Who and Game Of Thrones, as well as The Walking Dead. I heard that they are meant to be brilliant.

Whoa Mugs, half of those that are adults only to you, I've watched no problem xD

House and the Office aren't adults only, they are PG-13 at most

Game of Thrones is 18+, but to me, its not that bad.

See I forgot The Walking Dead xD That is one of the only shows that I follow every week, most my shows I just watch through Netflix when they get put on there but with that show I set my alarm to watch in on Sunday when it is on

I don't actually watch that much TV... normally it's my little brother who gets to choose. But I do have some favorites.
