---District 12---Female---17---

Lori made her way to the last station she had planned to visit, the Survival station. Yes she had passed up the weapons stations but she just didn't feel like making both her strengths and weaknesses known. She knew the careers would be watching carefully, seeing who they could recruit or use or which tributes would be the easiest to take down. Lori's main plan was to basically stay in the background and not bring any unnecessary attention to herself, and for the most part she had been pretty successful. Now she needed to learn one more thing and that was how to survive in the elements. There was no telling what the environment would be like, it could be anything from icy tundras to dry deserts or even a simple plain field or swamp. The possibilities were endless and so should her knowledge.

She walked up to the station and learned how to make fire with all sorts of different materials. There was flint and matches which made the fire making process very easy. With those she was able to make a sustainable fire in only a few seconds. Next she moved on to using rocks to get a spark. This was a little harder to use, but eventually after a few tries she was able to create a spark and a small flame started to burn brightly in front of her. Luckily for her she was put in charge of making the fire for her family and so she was used to using rocks and flint, but never had she used matches to create a flame. It was nice and she made a mental note to try and see if she could get her hands on some matches in the arena. Those would make her life a whole lot easier, and anything that could be made easier would be beneficial to her in the long run. She repeated this a few times before she felt that she was sufficiently practiced in using all forms of stones, matches and flint to use fire.
