Domino flipped her hood up and tried to sneek out quietly. The adrinoline had wore off from her last fight now her shoulder which hopefully stopped bleeding felt like it was killing her now. She walked way around the fight wanting to get away from it.

Solange heard the footsteps of yet another but didn't bother turning back this time. She pushed herself off the supported wall and lifted her arm, trying to hit away the incoming spear and slashed her sword under it towards the owner of the spear. Their bearings shifted a little after that little hit by nature; Solange faced the entrance of the cave, spotting a figure making a run for it. She realised how easily this girl could get away any time soon. But maybe it was for the better. She could think of ways this could end worse than that. Till then, Solange was going to try to stay alive, with this District 2 instinct of killing or not.

Pandora still looked around for an exit. It was either that, die, or get killed by this girl. And Pandora didn't want to die this early on these games. Not yet. She watched as she dodged yet another one of Pandora's attacks; she'd have good luck with blocking everything she threw at her so far. But when the girl went to slash Pandora, she didn't aim far enough, and her sword just fell a little bit short. Pandora gave a small sigh of relief. It was now or never, after all. Pandora took another stab at the girl hoping that she wouldn't see it coming, and Pandora would actually do some damage.

Solange gasped as the spear forced itself through the humid air straight at her. She wasn't fast enough to parry after she missed so she quickly side stepped and twisted her torso, in hopes of avoiding that last attack. She gritted her teeth and pulled herself upright again and flicked her sword for an over cut. The girl's spear was much longer than her sword and Solange took that advantage to inch closer, closing the gap between the two of them - giving the girl lesser space to maneuver her spear but still enough for a sword. The thunder continued to rumble, interrupting the pelting of the heavy rain. By the sounds of it, the rain was turning into a storm and all of a sudden it felt much safer here than out there, where even the wind howled a little.

The girl began to step closer to Pandora after she had managed to actually strike her. She felt only slightly bad. After all, she was trying to kill Pandora too. The thunder from outside rang throughout the cave and echo'd off the walls, sending a slight chill down Pandora's spine. She felt better in here where the lightning couldn't strike her. Colder, but safer despite the fact that this other girl was attempting to kill her and she might not make it out alive.
Pandora paused for a moment as the other girl stepped closer so she could get Pandora with her sword better. Pandora's spear was meant for long-range fighting, not close up fighting like this. But she went to block the girl's attack, and then went in for a stab of her own.

Solange felt the twinge of pain in her arm after she failed to dodge the last attack. She bit her lip and refocused her coordination as she parried with the long spear, deflecting it upwards, over her short height, anticipating the same, possible sharp pain to hit her again. With the spear above them, Solange swiped her sword in a horizontal arc across the girl. It felt as if the thunder, lightning and of course rain, didn't seem to stop at all. The thunder rang, along with the rain, both heavy and continuous. It took over silence, as if it was now silence it self. Even under such circumstances her mind started to wonder a little. She didn't even know the girl's name, and she greeted her with an arrow to her arm. Solange thought to herself, what an awful person she was.

Pandora smiled when the girl manages to not doge her attack. Wait, what? Pandora thinks. What was going on with her? She tried to concentrate. Thunder rang through the cave, and rain fell to the ground, the sound of rushing water echoed through the cave as well. Pandora was having a hard time hearing her own nervous breathing. She was beginning to get dizzy and felt slightly light-headed. She knew that if she didn't leave soon, she was as good as dead. After attempting to doge the girl's arrow, she went for another stab, and then hoped to still find an escape.

The sudden rain of attacks on her arms made Solange's heart raced faster than before, registering it in her brain as the adrenaline started running through her body. Adrenaline wasn't as pleasant as people make it to be. Her breathing and heart rate quickened and she soon started to break out in cold sweat under such a weather, but she could feel herself reacting much faster to things. Just what she needed at this moment. Solange gripped onto her sword tighter on her right hand and swiped the incoming spear away with her left. The impact of her block and the wood of the spear left her hand throbbing for a moment but adrenaline superseded her senses and nerves. Solange switched hands on her sword and dived in for a under cut with her sword slashing outwards to the girl. Her right hand tingled after holding it for quite a while while her left hand gripped the sword with full force. She remembered how her brother always juked her with his ambidexterity and somehow, Solange picked it up just so she could beat him once in their brawls. It still felt weird with something heavy in her left hand but it brought her right hand relief. Yep, the silent fight was getting to Solange's mind, she can't even focus on the fight as her mind wandered while her body moved without thinking, anticipating the next attack.

Pandora smiled as she made her attack and had caught the girl, and managed to hit her in the arm. What's happening to me? I shouldn't be happy about things like this. Pandora looks around and despite her dizziness, see's two ways: deeper into the caves or through the other way, outside of the caves. Pandora thought about it for a quick moment and decided that it'd be better to run outside. She'd be cold from the rain, but it'd be nothing she could get over. Plus, she could outrun the girl with the tree's. Hopefully.
Pandora goes to stab the girl, but doesn't. She uses it as a distraction, and goes to run behind the girl and then make her way outside.

Pandora rushes past the girl, not looking behind her. She holds her wounded shoulder, as her footsteps echo the cave. She was escaping. Pandora burst out into the arena. Rain fell on her shoulders and thunder rang through her ears, but at least she was okay for now. She didn't turn around in fear that the other girl might have followed, and instead darts off into the tree's hoping to be covered by the tree's.

Solange blinked involuntarily as the spear yet again jutted at her but immediately disappeared, together with it's owner as the girl made the dash outside the caves. Solange mouthed a swore as she attempted to catch up to the girl, taking a few steps forward to the mouth of the cave. A part of her just wanted to get that girl and get it over and done with before she comes hunting back for her. Anything could happen and the tables could and would turn before anyone could shout 'hoopla'. Yet another part of her just wants to stop, and just rest for a moment or two. Or forever, it works too. Solange's hands relaxed as she let her sword droop downwards to the ground let sagged her tensed shoulders. She should have chased and pressed on, but her body begged to differ. Lightning flashed and flooded the cave in blinding white for a millisecond, something actually bright in this whole depressingly dark arena. With the fight held on a pause, silence took over the sounds of rasping breaths and fast moving iron and steel. She slipped back the sword under her belt and began to take notice of her arm wounds. Nothing too serious but the pain started to really sink in and she pressured the wounds with the clothes on her. Clenching her teeth, she held it there for a while, letting herself get use to the pain, 'cause looks like she'll need to do a lot of getting used to. She suddenly remembered how busy it was in the caves not too long ago and the thought of that put her on the edge. Solange took a quick peek around the sheltered place, in case anyone else was still around.

Solange finally let her guard down after she could take the chance that no one else is around. She didn't know how long it has been but that fight seemed like forever. She sat down on the rock floor as her legs flopped down in relief. She was tired, but tiredness doesn't matter when thirst and hunger came along. She looked at her apples but then glanced at the rain spewing into the entrance of the split. The madness of the storm more or less convinced her to stay put until the arena was actually at least visible behind the sheet of precipitation. What are the chances that rain water could kill her? Well, actually quite the high stakes, but Solange made her way closer to the mouth of the cavern. She didn't need to get too far out to feel the rain splattering at her but she moved forward and cupped her hand out in the rain. The water assaulted her wounds, making them sting, but as long as the rain isn't corroding the arena away, it can't be too bad. The wait for rain water to collect in her hands had her thinking, about people. She saw the faces of the dead lit up, grimacing at the ones she killed. What were the others doing other than plotting a plan to kill each other? Making allies? Finding food? Building traps? And then there was Solange that was all alone. She suddenly felt inferior, realising there'd probably be bigger alliances against one of her. Solange pulled her hand back to stare at the dripping collected water and took a taste test of it.

Seeing that the rainwater did nothing but sooth her parched throat, Solange quickly poured the rest of it into her mouth before it dripped away onto the ground. The storm drenched her front where her cloak clung onto her, making her shiver when the cold wind struck. Something tells her it was gonna be a cold few days to come, if she even lasted that long. Solange sat down and leaned against the wall once again. She reluctantly picked out an apple and started devouring it, her hunger trying to reason with her mind that they'd spoil if you don't eat them soon. Solange was glad she picked up the apples instead of the beef she spotted by the Corn. Fruits would at least some what keep her hydrated while those canned beef would've made her thirstier than a hippo. Solange's mind was rambling again. It's funny how she always was quite alone and definitely small all her life. But being here in the arena, huddling in the caves like a coward, she never felt so lonely and small before. Or maybe the fact of her uselessness was just settling into reality. Solange shook the thought out of her head. No, she's just waiting out the storm because it's the smart thing to do. Once the storm lessens she could and would head out of here, as the surprising peace in the caves were starting to get to her nerves. Her head turned towards the mouth of the cavern, and then to the forked caves where they split into two. Left, Right, out, or stay put, those were her options and staying put was the most appealing to her so far. Solange pulled her hood up, keeping her skin tone under wraps, so she was less visible as she blended in with the cavern darkness. She then closed her eyes and mumbled in the faintest whisper, almost inaudible under the rain and thunder, "just five minutes.." Maybe in five minutes, the rain would lessen. Solange kept her ears peeled as she rested her heavy eyelids, just for five minutes, maybe ten.

As soon as her lids shut closed, Solange could feel her mind slipping away from focus. An arm hugged her quiver close to her while the other gripped onto her bow as she let her body ease from the unsettling tension in it. Her breathing settled into a steady pace as she drifted off to sleep. For a moment, she forgot that she was in a world where spectators looked down on them like circus animals. Solange was a light sleeper and it didn't take much to disrupt her. The constant rain hitting to soaked ground however, seemed like a lullaby echoing across the arena. The arena was constantly dark and Solange almost couldn't tell the difference between day and night. Well, it didn't matter. As long as she had a chance to shut out everything for a little while, she'd take it. Somehow, that five minutes became ten, and then the ten became an hour, and then it dragged on and on as her head lulled to a side, resting on her shoulder unable to keep it upright on the cave wall supporting her. Her mind lingered towards the thought of home but instant shut off and turned into a blank page of void as Solange slept a dreamless sleep.

Solange pried her eyes open as she felt the cool touch of the rain on her face. She blinked a few times before realising that she was in the Hunger Games and she shot up from her sleeping position. She looked around quickly but relaxed when it was just the rain. In a sleepy haze, she rubbed her eyes and held her hands over her things, making sure they were still with her. Solange could feel her sore neck and back after leaning against the wall and sleeping. How long was she asleep? She couldn't tell. It felt like five minutes, yet it felt like centuries. She pulled down her hood to get a better view as she moved outwards to see the weather condition. It seemed like sleeping just made the rain harder instead of lighter. Solange sighed and grabbed her things, gearing up and ready to go again. She couldn't just sit around, if the tributes didn't get her, the Gamemakers will. Even though the nap she gratefully took had made her feel more refreshed and alert, it probably bored half of the viewers to sleep as well. Solange stared out to the trees and vegetation, standing at the edge of shelter. She felt lost on what to do and had the sudden urge to find some people. People that wouldn't kill her at first sight at least. Being alone was starting to make her really uneasy, always having to guard your own back. Solange put her hood back on and surveilled the open area, making sure the coast was clear. The outside seemed so huge after being cooped up in a cramped up hole, she felt relieved yet reluctant to leave it.
