Rose had purposely punched a kid due to her snide comments about her friend Maddie and she ahd been bad mouthing her. Maddie still had more guts than her, and Maddie was a way nicer person, it made Rose mad. Although luckily she was only told to have a week or two of detention since they knew she was having a difficult time, and they had sympathy, also she was the mayor's daughter so her being in trouble and being suspended wasn't a good thing to do, her father would get furious. It was after school and Rose walked to the detention room, she opened the door and looked in the room, the teacher wasn't even there but who could blame him? No one wanted to sit in detention. Rose came in and sat down and just laid her hands on the desk not really knowing what to do for the majority of detention but she'd figure something out, hopefully.

"Awwe, not even going to acknowledge me? How rude," said a voice in the back of the classroom. Jack's feet were propped up on the desk, and he was leaning back in the chair, the way that gets you in trouble for nearly causing harm to yourself. He stayed like that for a moment, then slammed the chair down, swinging his legs to the floor as he did so. "So, what're you in for? No, let me guess," He crossed the rows of empty desks to get to her, then plopped down on the one right next to Rose. "Cut someone's hair with the safety scissors?" He couldn't help the grin that came to his face as he tried to figure out what this fancy rich girl had gotten in trouble for.

Rose stayed facing ahead even when she heard a voice, she could feel it shudder down her spine, and she hated it. She knew who this was, it was that guy at the reapings, and suddenly she became a little mad and wanted to strangle, him, but more violence wasn't the answer, that got her here in the first place she'd have to refrain from doing anything that could maim him. Rose exhaled softly as she heard him walking up the rows of the desk. He was guessing what she was in for and she rolled her as he said he wanted to guess.

Soon he came and sat down right next to Rose and put forth his suggestion and she looked over at him. Safety scissors? Really? What was she five years old? Not likely. "No, I'm not five." She retorted with a scoff, and that's when she thought to herself that he wanted a reaction so why was she giving him one? Rose has a small smirk play on her face, "Wouldn't you like to know what I did? Could be anything for all you know." Rose said with a suggestive smirk and leaned back in her chair. She could play head games, and she was going to win.

"Good to know," Jack said, "It's just so hard to think of you as a troublemaking type." He grinned as she finally seemed to be paying mind to him. It wasn't exactly that he wanted her specifically to talk to him, but he was bored, and you know what bored Jack does? Tries to call attention to himself. "I thought I made it perfectly clear that I was going to figure this out," He leaned back as he said that, looking her up and down. "Must've been something terrible to land a girl like you in here." He got back on his feet then, paced to the front of the room, "You said you're not five anymore, correct?" he was facing the wall at this point, but he turned around and walked back to her desk, standing right in front of her. "Mut've been somethin' crazy then...like... wild, inappropriate dancing in the lunchroom?" Too bad he'd missed that.

Rose listened to Jack as he spoke, was this them getting along? She hadn't yet been at his throat yet, which was a good sign, but she wasn't sure how long she could keep up the mild and moderate mood to not punch him in the face. Then again that's what got her here. "You can guess all you want but I don't have to agree to anything." She said shrugging her shoulders and then watched him ramble on a bit and heard his next guess and she rolled her eyes, "Of course that's what I did, such a shame you missed it, huh?" She spoke with heavy sarcasm that'd make it obvious that wasn't what she did. It was kind of amusing to make him guess and make him trying to figure it out, especially since her seemed determined.

Jack subconsciously reached back, putting a hand behind his head for a moment. "Yeah, suppose so," he said, cracking another smile. "Maybe not you though," He added as an afterthought. A lie, perhaps. He continued to look at her for a moment, eventually dropping his arm. "So then you're not one for the crazy shit, are ya?" he said, "Too bad, my next guess was something...animalistic." He shoved his hands in his pockets and turned to face the door, which was halfway open. They could just walk out if they wanted, couldn't they? "It couldn't be as boring as punching another girl in the face, could it?" Yeah, Jack had known the whole time; he'd seen the fight happen cause once it starts everybody flocks. He'd just wanted to mess with her. Boredom and assery were a fun combo, and Jack loved to exploit it.

Rose looked at him for a moment, and she could see all his dark features, even his tone and vibe he sent off was a bit dark, but Rose was sure there was more than what met the eye somewhere and she couldn't help but think about it. She looked down for a moment, before she'd be caught staring perhaps. She didn't know how long she had been looking at him and she sighed when he mentioned she wasn't that crazy, "You underestimate me, Jack." She said to him, she could do crazy things she just didn't show them in front of a lot of people it was more reserved for her friends. The friends she didn't really have anymore. When he mentioned hitting another girl she rolled her eyes, "You knew the whole time didn't you?" She asked him looking at him again. "And she totally deserved it I wouldn't take it back for a second."

Jack raised his eyebrows and gave a nod, turning back to her. "What was your first clue? Safety scissors gets you a time-out, not detention," he said, "But as neccessary as it most certainly must've been, your fights are pretty boring." He spun about, recalling the "fight" from what he'd seen. The other girl really just took it, like she was in shock or something, didn't even fight back. "Ya know, I'm still bored," He was looking at the teacher's desk now, siting there all peacefully covered with important papers. Jack was standing on top of it within a moment. "We're pretty much alone here now-" he kicked a stack of papers away to make room for his feet,"-Have any fun ideas in that stuffy brain of yours?"

Rose looked at Jack and she glared at him a bit. She didn't want to talk to him, she didn't want to do anything with him. Not after what happened with Vossa. Rose wanted to punch him in the face even more now, but shortly she simmered down her temper. "I don't fight to entertain you." She said to him coldly and crossed her arms. When he asked for ideas she rolled her eyes. "I don't know I'm the boring one remember?" She retorted.

"So that's a no then?" Jack pouted, plopping down from his perch and sitting on some papers. "Hmmm... I wonder..." He picked up a stack, began flipping through them. "Boring...Incomplete...Boring...Nope...Nope..." The boy had no idea what he was looking for, but the papers weren't it; he tossed them over his shoulder, one at a time. When he didn't have a single sheet left, he looked back at Rose, who was still sitting over there. Boring. "What to do, what to do..." He trailed off, looking at the ceiling. "Hah! I've got it," his gaze dropped to her, what seemed to be an evil glint in his eyes. "Truth or Dare."
