Celia had been having a pretty lazy week. There just wasn't much going on for her right now, which was good, but also a bit boring. At her mothers' insistence, she'd pulled on her warm-weather clothes and dragged herself out to the beach for some fresh air, and she wasn't regretting it so far. It was a beautiful day, and the sun felt kind of nice, and there was enough breeze to keep her from overheating. Celia strolled down the edge of the water with a smile on her face and sat on a large rock, far away from the waves so that only the spray would hit her but she was separate from the slightly crowded sand. She had swimming wear under her clothes, but she wasn't planning on using it. Celia was just in the mood to spend a few minutes people-watching or maybe dip her toes in. She sat back on the rock and closed her eyes for a second, when she felt something splash her torso. There's no way the water's that high yet, she realized, snapping open her eyes. "Hello?" she said tentatively, unsure whether someone had thrown some water at her on purpose or not.

On a day like this when there was no one in need of his help, Grayson had to take advantage of the sun and breeze. Grizzy was a bit restless, so he took the giant mutt with him to go for a swim. They were having a nice time of it, romping around in the waves of the ocean, when the dog just took off towards the beach. Gray called after him, but Grizzy was too pre-occupied to notice. With a sigh, Gray trudged after the dog; after all, he didn't want anyone reporting him to a Peacekeeper.

By the time Grayson had caught up with the dog, Grizzy had found a girl laying on a rock and shook out his wet fur, pretty much drenching her. His coat held a lot of water, after all. "Grizzy, leave 'er alone," he snapped at the dog, who was now trying to greet the girl with the customary face-lick. He pouted, but was obedient, trotting back to Grayson and plopping into the sand. The boy grimaced, "Sorry 'bout that. 'E's a bit...friendly, I guess? 'E didn't scare ya, did 'e?"

Celia turned to see who was the culprit and smiled. "No worries," she said to the guy who accompanied the dog. She knelt down to let the dog lick her face for a second before he was sent to lie on the sand. "He's a cutie," she commented, standing again and dusting off her knees, which had acquired some sandy residue. "What's his name?" Celia finished getting the sand off her legs and faced the dog's apparent companion. She figured she should introduce herself as well, so she gave a little wave. "I'm Celia, by the way."

Richard left the house that day much earlier to go fishing and had caught a good amount of fish. Enough to keep him fed for a few days and to make a profit. When he got back home, he didn't exactly feel like staying inside all day so he put on a white t-shirt, some cargo shorts and grabbed a small pouch from his room and put it in his pocket. He slid his feet into his flip-flops and opened the door, walking out into the sunlight. He made his way down towards the beach, near one of the secluded parts he normally went to. However, when he got there he found that there were some people near by. He slightly hoped no one would recognize who he was and took a seat on the sand, gazing out at the sea. Being alone and hearing the crashing of waves always soothed him, even if there was the sounds of laughter as well. They brought back memories of when he was younger...when everything was less complicated. He closed his eyes gently as his thoughts drifted away slowly.

Curtis walked towards the beach, with his backpack and sunglasses. He found a spot he liked and sat down, he laid out his green and white striped towel along with a small umbrella so he wouldn't get too much of a sunburn. He sat around, watching the young boys and girls run around playing tag or just having fun. He smiled, he loved the beach. It was always or normally peaceful there, full of laughs and family. He grabbed a book out and started reading it, after about 20 minutes he got through one chapter and closed the book. He was thinking about friends, and wondering if he was going to make any that day. Well, that's his fate to figure out.

"Wanna go a little faster? Yeah?" Al ask his little brother as he pushed his skateboard from the back along the coast line. "Faster! Faster!" Ruddie raised his hands up in the air, giggling. Alaric was doing the night shift that day so he had the whole day to play. "Then you better hold on tight," He patted Ruddie's head before pushing off, making funny engine sounds like the ones the train made. They raced past a couple of people enjoying the beach and Ruddie pointed in front of them, shouting in between his fits of laughter, "Gray gray!" He slowed down to take a better look at the figure his lil brother pointed out to see that it really was his good ol pal Grayson. "Let's go say hi, shall we?" Al suggested before he bolted forward once again, Ruddie letting out a short excited yelp as he held onto the skateboard. Al pushed them closer to the edge of the water and soon enough the waves crept to them, soaking their ankles.

"Hey Gra-" But as the waves drew back, it pulled the skateboard and Al tripped over, holding onto Ruddie in his arms before he crashed into the shallow water on his back. "Again!" Ruddie glowed. Al lifted his head to see Grayson right in front of them together with a girl he hasn't seen before. "Hey Grayson!" Al repeated himself, hand wiping away the sea water dripping from his face. "You never told me you got a new girl," he laughed, half jokingly, cause he couldn't tell whether he himself was saying a serious statement or not. He glanced to the girl who sat a little further back on a rock and gave her a little wave. His shirt and pants were all soaked but he really couldn't care less about that. Eh, clothes dry sooner or later. Al sat his little brother down on the sand so that he could sit up and not twist his neck in awkward ways.

"Shhh, don' tell 'im that. It encourages 'im," Gray said with a chuckle as the dog looked up with interest at her words. But Grizzy was soon distracted by other people making their way onto the beach. He whined, wanting to chase after them, but Master had told Grizzy to stay put. Grayson, meanwhile, had opened his mouth to respond when he heard his name called. Forgetting the girl a moment, he looked around, spotting Al go by with his little brother. He laughed, turning back to the girl, "The brute's name is Grizzy," Grizzy's jaws opened as his tongue lolled in response to his name. But at that moment, Al reappeared. "Oi, I didn't know myself," he shook his head, giving his friend a playful shove. "This 'ere's Al, daredevil extraordinaire," he gave the girl an introduction, "And I go by Grayson, 'is trusty side-kick," he grinned a bit at his own joke. "Al, this is Celia, right," he glanced at the girl for confirmation of her name, "Nice meeting ya, by the way."

Celia looked over her shoulder as movement caught her eyes. Several people were now approaching this part of the beach. Maybe they saw how nice the day was and had the same idea I had, she considered. Regardless of why the beach was gaining popularity today, she was a bit busy with a conversation at the moment. She smiled as another guy approached, who was apparently a friend of Gray's. "Hey," she said with a little wave of her hand. She nodded when Gray mentioned the dog's name. "Fitting and adorable. Oh, and yeah, Celia Holland. Nice to meet you too." He was holding a kid who looked like he could be related to him. "Hi, there!" she chirped as the kid was set down on the sand. "What's your name, sweetie?" She wasn't really sure holding a kid while skateboarding was the best idea, but it wasn't her place to judge, and nobody seemed to be getting injured. The reason for Gray's title for him was already become apparent, though. Celia was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of adorableness surrounding her right now, what with the combination of cute kid and cute dog. Not a bad problem to have, she mused, giggling as ocean water nipped at her ankles. She felt her words becoming a bit repetitive, but didn't think much of it.

Al let his friend shove him back as he dunk his head into the water before rising back up. He wrung the water out of his shirt as he let Grayson introduce him. "Alaric Demaraire. Al's just fine though. And pleasure's all mine!" He tipped an invisible hat while he gave a more, uh, legit introduction. Al turned to Grayson and laughed, "Side kick huh? Now that's something I can get used to." He nudged his friend, winking. Grayson has joined him on his adventures every now and then, when he feels like he won't actually die or something ridiculous like that. Al scooted over to grab hold on his abandoned skateboard that was being pulled away by the waves, a little further out as the attention was brought to his lil brother. Ruddie stared up to the new girl with his Bambi eyes. He raised both his hands up in the air as he said his name with glee, "Ruddie! And.. and.." He paused as he lifted his fingers and counted before showing the big sister four of them, "I'm four!" He attention instantly shifted as he saw his dog friend and hobbled over to greet him, throwing his arms around the dog's neck. Al came back victoriously with the skateboard in hand, "Ha! Got the lil' rascal back." He threaded forward onto the drier sand as he tsked Ruddie and pull away Grizzy's ear from the little boy's mouth, "Ruddie, don't you remember that it's not polite to put people's ear in your mouth? That includes dogs too." Al sighed before turning back to the two. "So, what have you guys been up to today?" He settled the skateboard to a side while he asked too casually, as if both of them were like his life long friends.

Sera had been walking around. She knew Al and Ruddie were going to the beach at some point and she decided she'd tag along later. Sera had a few things she was doing around the house and then she decided she was gonna go diving a bit today, just shallow water diving. She put her hair up in a pony tail and then put her swimsuit on and then followed by her black and blue wet suit. She then grabbed her mask and snorkel as well as er flippers and she grabbed them and walked out into the streets. She could see thee beach in view and she smiled. Soon she came up to the beach and she saw a crowd and she avoided it. She sat on the beach near the water and she began to set her stuff down and studied the water a bit before she saw a guy out of the corner of her eye. "Hi." She said softly.

Richard had been lying down with his head against a rock when a greeting seemed to be voiced in his direction. He sat up and looked to the source, seeing a girl in a wet suit with snorkeling gear. He looked down and away for a second, but then looked back up, smiling. "Hey...didn't think anyone would notice me. Or come over. The name's Richard Len-" He caught himself before he said the rest and nodded. Richard Len."

Sera listened to the guy speak and she smiled, he seemed to be genuinely nice, a lot nicer than that guy she met while she was working the other night, that guy kept flirting with her non stop, and Al stepped in, thankfully. She mentally shook her head from those thoughts and then she heard him introduce his name, and she was going to question the last name part but decided not to, she had no reason to pry. "I'm Seraphina Demeraire, Can just call me Sera though." She said with looking out at the ocean again, and she wiggled her feet into the flippers. "Ever been diving before?" She asked.

Gray was content to fall silent as Al and Celia talked for a minute, rolling his eyes as the "hero"'s comment to him. Then Al was chasing after a skateboard and Grizzy had a four-year-old around his neck. "Aw, 'e wasn't doin any harm, was 'e, Grizzy?" he laughed when Al returned to "rescue" the dog's ear. The dog actually looked pretty sad that his friend had been taken away, so much so that he sat up and licked Ruddie's face to show his acceptance of the boy's ear-chewing habits. Gray shook his head as he watched the dog. "See? No biggie," he said, looking back to the pair he was supposed to be having a conversation with. "Nothing big there either," he responded to Al's question, "You seem to've been busy though, eh?" Gray eyed the skateboard at Al's feet, shaking his head again.
