After a few days, Fallon and Lily were released from the hospital, and brought home. Well, to Storm's home. His mother helped Fallon a lot and she wanted to stay nearby, so until everyone was more used to having a baby around the Avian house was also Fallon's.

Storm woke to the baby crying yet again. The crib was in his room, which was actually now their room, but either way the baby was there. Surprisingly, it never woke Kaden up. "Is it your turn?" he grumbled, blinking as he tried to tune out the cries. "I really think it's your turn," he wasn't even sure if Fallon was awake yet. But one thing he was sure of was that babies do cry. Dammit.

Fallon had slowly been getting used to having the baby around and Storm's mom had been helping her a lot during the whole thing, but so had Storm. Storm was used to taking care of babies, as he did take care of Kaden before this, so Storm was the one who actually taught Fallon how to change a diaper, it wasn't that difficult but the first time she had been in a panic state.

Sleeping peacefully beside Storm curled up on her side facing the wall and she was sound asleep and nothing was really waking her up. She had been used to late nights and waking up in the middle of the night during the pregnancy but now nothing was bothering her so she slept through most of Fallon's crying which wasn't something that pleased Storm half the time.

Eventually though Lily's crying did wake her up and she groaned a bit as she heard Storm mention that he thought it was his turn. She looked over to him turning slightly, still a bit tired. "It was my turn for nine months, I think it's your turn." She mumbled and she turned back over.

Storm sighed, already blinking the sleep from his eyes. "Fair enough..." he grumbled, slowly getting out of the bed.
If he hadn't lived his whole life in the room, he'd never had made it in the dark to the baby's crib in one shot. Or maybe he would've; it was pretty small, filled with four people. "Alright girlie, what's up?" he asked, picking the baby up and checking her diaper. Hopefully, she wouldn't be hungry at this time of night. That didn't seem to be the case, though, as she quieted down once she realized she was with Storm. But she was a bit damp, so he took care of that quickly. "Why can't you just match normal sleeping patterns?" he questioned the now silent Lily at a whisper. She was still wide awake, so Storm ended up spending a good while bobbing up and down, trying to get her to sleep before he put her back. Finally, she drifted off and Storm could get back to bed.
He adjusted himself a bit, getting back to his sleeping position, but now he wasn't so sleepy. "Eight months and twenty-nine days, and she's yours again." he whispered, not sure if Fallon was even awake anymore. Probably not.

Fallon tried to get back to sleep, but it was no use, even after Kaden got Lily to stop crying, it was still no use at this point. So Fallon sat there and she listened to Storm speak to Lily and she smiled. Storm was a great dad already, which she was very thankful for, because other guys could have just left, or they could have just rolled over and went back to sleep but Storm cared, but there was never a doubt in her mind that it was otherwise said so.

As he came back into bed she could feel the warmth radiating off his body and she felt more at ease that he was back in bed. That was when he mentioned that in eight months and how many days until it was her turn and she smiled. She then shifted to her other side to face him. "Thank you." She said with a smile and then kissed him on the cheek. "What do you think she'll be like when she's older?" Fallon asked him looked over at him.

So Fallon was still awake. Storm had closed his eyes in an attempt to bring the sleepiness back, but that did practically nothing, so he was just lying there, listening to Fallon shift over to face him. Then she kissed his cheek and he smiled a bit, but he didn't move. Laying on his back with his eyes closed was at least a nice pastime. "You mean after she stops waking us up in the night?" he questioned, "She'll be a perfect angel." Then he yawned, opening his eyes and shifting so that he was facing Fallon. "But seriously? I hope she's more like you."
