Finally I begin at feel better. I look up and see Ester in the other outfit. I soon relize that if etheir of them beat me again, I'll eventually lose my mind. I groan again. I stand up very unsteadily and sit on some piece of furniture.

I forgot about my awkward clothing and rushed to Hunter. I sat on the couch beside him. I lifted some of his to get a closer look at his bruise. It was larger than I had expected and Hunter couldn't afford to be hurt before he even gets into the arena. I spotted a small fridge and search it for ice. I couldn't find any so I grabbed a cold soda can and brought it to Hunter. I held it up to his bruise.

Chub returned with the case for both sets of clothes. "You're done now Chub thinks." Chub told Esther. "Out of the clothes you get yes?" Chub told her. "Be quick, Chub has not much time to waste on subjects wanting to keep humility."

After Esther gave Chub the costume back Chub left the room making sure to take everything with her, and some things that didn't belong to her, she made sure to grab all the fabric so as to craft accessories for her tributes. It was clear to her that if she observed silently from a hidden camera she'd learn much more about her tributes, but she didn't know exactly what.

I sighed and stripped off the costume. Now that Chub was gone, and it was just me and Hunter it became very awkward. I looked toward Hunter. "Are you really just going to be yourself in the interview?" I asked.

Finally I looked straight at Ester. "That's my plan. I'm a terrible actor. I couldn't pull anything real off." I say, remembering that I told Ben the opposite thing. "This must be extremely awkward for you." I say. "You know, standing naked in front of an older guy." I laugh a little. But not mockingly.

I nod. "At least we aren't in the arena. And I'm not that much younger!" I add snappishly. I would usually try to cover up but it didnt really matter any more. I sighed. "Honestly, I'm afraid I'll be forced to try to act sexy, which I cannot do." I said.

"I'm just kidding. You're only a year younger. I'm 17. Just be yourself Ester. The Capitol will love you." I smile. "And if they don't then I'm sure they will in the arena."

I sigh, having done my best to stay out of things. A lot of commotion had happened, and Chub was taking out a beating on Hunter so far. "Chub, you can put a negative twist on anything a man says, can't you" I say, daring her to throw a pin at me.

I look over at Ben, who must of finally regained himself after all of that rum. Then I realized Esther will be self concious again. Then I know that this will be me next. Exept worse because Chub will be looking at me. Icky.

I grin at Hunter, wondering if he thought I'd just saved him or made things worse. "Perhaps you should both calm down, as well, little tributes" I add, noting their rowdiness while I'd been silent.

I know that Ester is trying to cover herself up. "Okay, okay. We'll calm down." I then go from my sitting position on the strange couch and lie down. I wonder when it'll be my turn with Chub. Humph. If I'm lucky I'd only get a few beatings to the head.

Chub strolled back into the room. "Oh Ben! I see you're awake now yes?" she said. "KAIYAH!" Another rolling pin sent hurdling in his direction. "WHY YOU SLEEPING ON JOB BEN?!" Chub freaked out at him "There's not much time left, coach your tributes while I give the useless boy his outfit yes?"

With that Chub produced a massive case from seemingly no where and placed it down on the table with an audible thunk. "This is what you will wear. No exceptions!" Chub yelled at the boy. She also seemed to have Esther's interview dress now properly sized, "Now hurry up and get dressed. We must go down to Chariots very quickly!"

I nodded. I grabbed the dress for the parade and slipped it on. I wet my lips and turned to look at Hunter's costume. I couldn't help but giggle a bit. "You're going to look like a robot!"

"I dont think so." I said to Ester, worride that Chub would throw a pin at her. Even though I've already seen Ester naked, I didn't want her to see me. I shooed her away and hid behind the couch. I put on the outfit. It looked surprisingly okay on me. I stood up.

I catch the pin in front of my face, and drop it to the floor. "I've done my best with the girl, but she is quite oblivious to the fact that I'm attempting to help her" I say. Taking the chance to give the boy some credit he hasn't gotten from Chub, I add in "The boy however has listened like a good tribute"

I smiled at Ben. He had just done me an obvious favor. "Ate we ready?" I asked. I couldn't wait. People at home would be cheering.

The next day

Chub returned from the basement where all costumes were stored. Hunter's outfit was finally ready and Esther's outfit was still safely secured up here. Chub entered the room, surprisingly finding it empty, 'These tributes will regret being late for Chub soon enough.'

"TRIBUTES" Chub yelled "COME TO CHUB. NOW.

Chub quickly opened to make sure both briefcases had their contents in order. They were both there so she waited, duel rolling pins at the ready.

I walked in rubbing my eyes. It was early in the morning and I had barely gotten any sleep. I gagged at the thought of my costume. My hair probably looked revolting to someone from the Capitol. I hadn't bothered brushing it or showering it. Chub would be mad. I sighed. "Hello, Chub."

I rushed down. "I'm really sorry that Im late. I fell in the hallway." I said nervously, seeing the rolling pins in Chub's hands. I was shaking. I waited for Chub to talk.

"Tributes will be excused this time because Chub has no time for smacking tributes." Chub took out Hunter's costume. "Now stand there and get changed, yesterday you see her naked yes? It's her turn to see you. No exception!" Chub yelled "Hurry useless boy!"

The thought of fairness was far from Chub's mind, she just needed to make sure that they were both still in good condition and hadn't gorged themselves after the parade last night. Esther would have to do the same but not yet.

"Uh....." I closed my eyes. It would make me feel better if I couldn't see Ester's reaction. I got undressed and slipped into the costume. I opened my eyes but didn't look at Ester.

I closed my eyes when Hunter started to get his costume on. I turned around. I wished that we had separate rooms. I hoped Chub wouldn't try to do something with my hair. My hair was almost totally unmanageable. I scanned the floor. When Hunter had finished getting dressed, I couldn't help but laugh. Is costume looked so... capitol.

"YOU DARE LAUGH AT CHUB'S WORK!?" Chub rounded on Esther. With a whistling smack a rolling pin caught Esther on the right shoulder. "NO ONE LAUGHS AT CHUB'S WORK. YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU GO WITH NOTHING NOW."

Chub continued pacing around in a blind rage, throwing rolling pin after rolling pin, but thankfully none more at the tributes. After several minutes of this and calming down into a quiet seethe. Chub returned to the tributes. She handed Hunter a hair brush and then finally said. "You, give me those clothes now," she said to Esther, "see how many laugh at you when you go onto stage with nothing yes? You won't like it."

I felt a strong force to my shoulder and then I felt my head hit the glossy Capitol floor. "Ow..." I muttered barely audible to anyone. I squeezed my eyes shut and dug my nails into my palms. I rolled onto my back. "Wait.. what?" I asked. I sat up slowly. "You mean... seriously?" I asked.

I brushed my hair. I gave it a flow that made it look very...me. Then I saw Ester in pain. I swallowed and stepped in front of Ester. I would be hurt from this but...this had to happen. "Ester doesn't deserve that! She is an amazing woman and the world needs to know that. Having her go on stage with no clothes wouldn't show them!"
