District 3 Reapings!

The District 3 escort steps up on stage and smiles with blindingly white teeth. She starts speaking in a high pitched voice, "Welcome everyone to the Reapings! Today one young man and woman will be chosen to participate in the 28th Annual Hunger Games!" She steps up to the big bowls containing the names of every child in the district, from 12 to 18. Her hands hover above the bowls for a second, as if deciding something. "Now then, Ladies first!" she says, and reaches into the bowl filled with girls names...

.:The two tributes "Lily Johnson" and "Josh Faraday" had been chosen for slaughter, all that would be left would be to cart them off for their grand appearance in the Capitol. "Now then, are there any volunteers?" The escort asked as their two tributes joined them, on stage.

josh walked up to the stage. he was prepared to volunteer, but not to get picked. the left side of his mouth crved upwards making a satisfied smile. he stood there and looked at his brother clay. it happened. he thought.

Cai watched as Josh was reaped. It made him sad to know that his friend would probably be dead in a few days, but in a twisted way he was glad that he himself hadn't been chosen.

I stood there in shock feeling the hopelessness all of the families felt over the years.
So close to the one you have been with but yet there so far you cant reach them, to grab ahold of them to bring them back and fight their fight. but i knew josh wanted this
all i could do was stand back but i did something elese.

" No!! you hurt him youll be dead!" i was dragged away by many peace keppers to not disturb the reapings.

I saw Luke dragged away in a violent manner "see you when I get back!" I shouted to Luke.

When i heard the words slip from his mouth i knew he had spirit but did he have the fight?
could he make it? would he make it? the question haunts me forever until the games start ill be doing a thing the people say what is it? praying is the word. ill be praying for josh that he will crush his foes in to little piles of ash!

but first i must learn how to pray.

“No!” i yelled as she peacekeepers tried to drag me away. How could i be reaped? I thought frantically. How could my sisters survive without me? How could that happen? I tried to get awat from them until i gave way. Maybe someone would replace me
OC: as all of my charries have been reaped i have decided to rp. Megan d4 so sadie or sofia english or other new kids my take my place for now. No tributes, then i will take lily and let someone else replace megan.

I wait for the time of visitations i have tosee josh my bro before he is shipped for slaughter as a pig.

after the reaping josh was escorted into a small room with a fireplace with two chairs. the room was furnished nicely, he imagined it a lot dirtier in district 12. he sat down in one of the chairs waiting for hiss first friend. his parents would be the last to see him.

Cai was the first to enter Josh's room. He wasn't sure what to say at a time like this, but he had decided it would be best to come and see his friend anyway. He took in the room at a glance, noticing the nice furniture and the heat of the fireplace. "nice room," he muttered under his breath.

"yeah" josh stated. "havent seen you since that encounter with luke. so whats been happening with you" josh said with a smile.

"Not much at all, actually," Cai said, returning the smile. He was glad that Josh didn't seem too torn up about this turn of events; in fact, he seemed like he WANTED to be in the games.

"One more thing I have to tell you Cai. On the corner of fourth and main street there is an ally way dully illuminated be a dull green light. In the middle is a door. If you walk through that door and see years of my work fit into one room." Josh put his hand on Cai's shoulder and gave him a smile. "Can you go there for me buddy?"

Cai blinked in slight surprise. "Of course I will," he said, "but you'd better make it back to explain anything I can't understand."

Josh grinned "sounds good but if I don't make it back you can just ask my little brother clay about it." Josh gave a final best friend hug and the peacekeeper took Cai away.

Josh grinned at this broad statement. "You honestly have more confidence about myself than I do". Josh's face became more serious. "Do you know Cai?"

I was starting to get restless and the gaurds could see that. They were trying to get more people in there just in case it got heated.

"Well you need to find him and ask about my secret room, he will fill you with the details" josh wanted to find his secret room in the alley too.
