Personality/Appearance
Physical Appearance:
Nefara is a beautiful girl, although she's still a teen so her body has not quite reached a state of womanhood. Her hair is usually down and around her shoulders, a light red-brown color that is pretty to look at. She has wide apricot-shaped eyes framed with long lashes. Her nose is of average size, and her lips are pretty and full. She's pale-skinned although she spends all hours of the day out in the sun, although her face has a nice smattering of cinnamon colored freckles along her nose and cheekbones. This earned her the name of Freckles when she was younger.

Personality:
Nefara is sharp, quick, and to the point. She doesn't like mistakes, she hates lazy people, and she's never spent a day where she didn't work hard. The love of her life is water; her mother used to joke that she'd been born from sea foam and carried to her mother in a fishing net. This always made Nefa laugh, although part of her thinks it's true; she's so unlike her family that it's scary.

Flaw:
Nefara is a perfectionist. If something isn't done right, it drives her nuts. She also blames herself for mistakes that she had no part in because of her family's beliefs that she must be perfect at all times. She also has slight social anxiety; new people make her nervous and clammy.

Nefa is a skilled weapons master when it comes to most things. She loves fighting with tomahawks and daggers although she can use a sword, spear, bow and arrows, nets, and tridents with great proficiency.

Silver-Tongue:
Nefara is the silkiest silver-tongue you will ever meet. Her voice is like honey, and her words are always true; you may just take it the wrong way. Her ability to 'persuade' people has always been her greatest advantage.

Other:
Nefa is an amazing actress; her ability to cry at the drop of a hat, pretend she's angry, or even act like a queen makes her all the more scary--she always has a fake face on to cover herself. One minute she'll seem kind, the next she'll want to rip your throat out. It's all part of the fact that she's been trained since she could walk to kill.

Family/History
Family:
Father: An older gentleman who married his sweetheart, Nefa's father is a kind man. He owns a large boat that he'd once spent his life savings on, and now has made a small fortune because of the types of fish he brings in.

Mother: A woman with nerves of steel, Nefara's mother has always been a symbol of strength and unity. She's strict, but kind, and loves her only child dearly. Her only flaw is that she causes Nefa to think she needs to be perfect to win her mother's love.

Brief History:
Born as an only child, Nefara could be viewed as spoiled except for the fact that she's never had a day where she didn't work hard. When she was four, her parents paid extensive amounts of money to pay for training her as a Career. She studied relentlessly, always the perfect child, and is now ready to go in the Games and bring honor to her family. The idea of death does not scare her, but she won't lay her life down without a fight.

Personality/Appearance
Physical Appearance:
Annie is extremely beautiful with large round eyes and a sweet innocent smile. Her hair is curly, perfect ringlets really, and although she brushes her hair constantly is always stays sticking up around her head. Her chin is very pointed and her cheekbones are high and beautiful. Her forehead is the perfect proportion to her body and she's pretty thin.

Personality:
Annie is extremely quiet and thoughtful, although her singing is amazing. You'll only catch her singing at three points during the year: After the Reaping has past and her family is still safe; at her best friend Abay's house on his birthday; and on January first, a day marking that she and her family and friends have survived another year. She doesn't sing at any other time because she doesn't see any point in expressing happiness during times that are unhappy.

Annie is often lost in thought, thinking up complicated contraptions. She is usually seen digging in random places, large gaping holes that she spends the entire day working on and then three hours in the evening filling. During school, you can find her tapping her foot impatiently; if she has an idea, she finds the sudden urge to start digging.

Flaw:
For some odd reason, Annie can't think as well as she'd like unless she's digging.

Talents:
Shovel-Handling:
Annie is insanely quick when it comes to digging. She has also tried fighting a tree before with her shovel and found that she's quite good at it; she only has one shovel.

Singing:
Annie has the most fluid, silkiest, sweetest voices you could possibly imagine.

Very good at making complicated contraptions and traps.

Family:
Father: Jackson Teslock; A younger man than you'd expect, Annie's father is always wearing a smile, even though there's really nothing to be smiling about. Their family is extremely poor.

Mother: Iliana Teslock; A gorgeous example of beauty and grace, Annie is often inspired by her mother's ability to make everything look effortless.

Sister: Rashelle "Rainie" Teslock; A seven year old little thing who Annie will often give her meager food to.

Brother: James "Jimmy" Teslock; A four year old who enjoys arguing with her sister.

Brief History:
Annie was born during slightly brighter times, when the Games weren't quite so gruesome yet. Her family was happy and peaceful, and they had a lot more food to put on the table at that time. After Annie's sister was born, things started to go downhill. The Capitol was demanding more and more textiles for less cash; things looked up again as the Capitol slowed on its demands. Annie's mother thought it would be safe to have another child and Annie's little brother was born. Four years later and times could never be worse; often, there is nothing to eat for two or three days at a time; their water supply is often tainted; Annie's brother is often ill.
