Outfit

Rhea walked into the sponsor building and put her best smile on. People filled the building in their elaborate costumes and outfits. Large groups of people were waiting, watching and betting; and a long line of people looking to send in an item request to have something sent to the tribute of their choice. It was a Capitol citizen's playground in here, there were screens filled with rankings and odds as well as a large screen dedicated to watching the games themselves with the occasional break to hear commentary on everything going on. Rhea looked up and watched in awe as every person there could see every single tribute and what they were doing. She guesses this was what it was like last year, when she was on that screen fighting and everyone else sat here on their plush seats drinking their beverages and eating their delicacies by the plateful not a care in the world. While she fought and feared for her life and survival and almost starved they had everything handed to them being waited on by Avoxes who were ready to tend to their every need. Rhea shook the thought out of her head, she needed to smile and be charming. That was what the Capitol wanted, they wanted the girl who is happy to have gotten home to her brother, who won the games. Not the scared girl who had gotten lost in this building all alone.

Rhea walked over to the bar and ordered a cranberry juice, the one thing in the Capitol she loved more than that was the stew but food was not something she was interested in right now. She took her glass and delicately took a sip, leaving a bit of lipstick along the rim. She bit her lower lip a bit as she looked around for a person to approach. She really wasn't sure how she was going to start a conversation with anyone but if there was one thing about the whole mentoring thing she would be good at it was this. She never had a problem being friendly and making friends, this was the easy part of her job. It was just that first sentence that would be the hardest. Rhea took one more sip before approaching someone that seemed to be standing alone for the time being. They looked like they could be a sponsor and there was only one way to find out. She reached her finger out and lightly tapped the person's shoulder. "Well hello, I'm sure you know me but I am Rhea Glass. And I was wondering if you were looking to sponsor a tribute or two today?" She put on the biggest smile that she could muster.

Livvy was doing on of her favorite things, roaming around the sponsor building. With her parents alone at home doing all of the boring work, it left the sixteen year old with nothing to do, not that she minded. Livvy was happy to walk around and socialize. Her brother had told her before that sponsoring the games was a waste, but helping someone wasn't a waste in Olivia - Anne's mind. She had been itching to sponsor a tribute, and maybe this was her year to do just that.

Livvy was dressed in her usual style, which was none other than her favorite color; all of them. She had a way of lighting up a room with her personality, but all of the rainbows made her stand out even more so. She wore her fake eyelashes, with dramatic blue eye shadow as well. Her lips were a pale pink color, which was somewhat dull for Livvy. None the less, she made up for it with her pastel rainbow colored dress and bangles. She wore silver shoes and a new bits of jewelry to finish her look off. Liv liked the way she dressed, and didn't really care what others though about her.

A smile plastered on her face, Livvy held her beloved kitten in on hand. It was a Persian, but she had Roy G Biv's hair dyed the color of the rainbow, so that they would always match. Feeling a tap on her shoulder, the girl spun around to see last year's victor, Rhea Glass. Olivia - Anne remembered her as the girl who volunteered for her brother's crush, or something like that. Livvy liked the love story that they had come up with as well, but it was tragic that Rhea's lover, or whatever, had to die. "Hello I'm Livvy Kinsworth," Livvy said crisply.

When the previous victor suggested something about sponsoring a tribute, Livvy's eyes shone brightly. "Yes! I would!" she said gleefully. Then she remembered something, she had no idea who she would be sponsoring. "So, Rhea... can you tell me some information on your tributes?" Livvy asked. Roy G. Biv sat still in her hand, watching his owner intently. The girl noticed that Rhea looked only a year older than herself; but also remembered that she must be vastly more mature.

Rhea held out a hand for Livvy to shake, "Its nice to meet you Livvy. And as for my tributes well as you may or may not know both of them are still alive and real contenders in these games. Henry Gale is incredibly intelligent and very intuitive. And he isn't too bad with a knife. And as for Marcelina she is a fighter and has real spirit." Rhea tried to come up with more, but honestly neither of them told her about their back stories at all. She tried to find out why Henry volunteered but he gave no hint as to why. Too bad, it probably would have helped a lot. But no matter, she would just try to spin this as much as she could with as little information as possible.

She smiled and took a sip from her drink before she continued speaking. "Honestly Marcelina is in pretty good shape, but as you could see I'm sure Henry is in some real trouble. He is pretty badly injured and the tributes from District 2 and the girl from District 7 have hurt him pretty badly. But I know that if he had a first aid kit or something he would pull through and be able to give those Careers a real fight. Believe me a gift like that would not only help him physically but mentally as well." She hadn't ever done this before and she hoped she was convincing enough, well at least enough to hopefully save Henry's life.

Livvy shook Rhea's hand, a small smile still positioned on her face. The Captiol Citizen didn't interupt the girl while she spoke of her tributes, and the girl soon found a favorite. That Henry boy was in trouble, and Livvy intended to help him. After all, if she was in the games (which would never happen) she would want help from someone. The girl felt like she could make a difference now, and it was time to act. "It sounds like Henry could really use some help..." she said slowly.

Livvy was trying to remember if any of the tributes did something grand at their reapings. Sometimes they would volunteer for others, sometimes they just got stuck with it. " Did Henry volunteer, or was he chosen?" Liv asked, her eyes fixed on Rhea for a moment. If he volunteered, the girl was definately thinking of sponsoring him. She liked the courageous tributes who put others before themselves.

Rhea took the time to take another sip from her glass. She needed a moment to think. She knew Henry volunteered, but as to why was never told to her. She just needed to think of something quick. That was when she thought of what Chase had told her before she left, when she promised him that would look out for him. Although it wasn't the best it would do. "Henry actually volunteered, the boy who got reaped originally is a good friend of his. He took his place for him. It was quite brave of him to do so, believe me." Rhea just hoped that would be good enough of an answer for Livvy, Henry was running out of time fast.

Livvy laughed for a moment. "Oh, I believe you." she said, stoking Roy G. Biv for a moment. The girl really wanted to help, and she was deciding that she would. Even if her brother disapproved of it, she wouldn't' care. Helping out a dying person was so much more important than her brother's feelings. Besides, Henry seemed like a worthy tribute to sponsor. "How big of a first aid kit will he need?" she asked.

Livvy knew that there were different types of first aid kits; such as small and large. She didn't really care which one he would need, because the citizen wanted to help. She hadn't done something really important with her life, and now it seemed like she could save someone else's.

Rhea just needed to make sure the kit got out in time to Henry at this point. She laughed a bit but rushed her words to try and get the point across that it had gotten urgent for her tribute. As they spoke the screens showed Henry basically on death's doorstep. "Really he could use any medical kit at this point. Even a smaller one would be better than nothing. So Livvy what do you say?" Rhea smiled and held out her hand as a way to solidify their agreement.

Livvy nodded and shook Rhea's hand. Just as she did so, the girl looked up at the screens, hearing the noise of a cannon go through her mind. Henry was dead. She was too late to save his life. She dropped her arm down, and almost her kitten. "Oh my gosh! I'm so terribly sorry Rhea, I should've done something sooner!" Livvy exclaimed, biting on one of her nails. She felt a wave of guilt wash over her, and she almost felt like she could've saved him.

On the contrary, now she wanted to help out his district partner, Marcelina. If Henry didn't win, she should [in Liv's mind]. "How do you think I could help Marcelina?" the Capitol Citizen said shakily. Liv felt like it was all her fault.

Rhea heard the cannon shot echo throughout the building and instantly the screens that held Henry's images started to black out, his face darkened and next to his name in big letters it read 'DEAD.' Rhea felt her arm go numb and drop from the handshake that she was right in the middle of. She felt like her whole body was numb at this point as she looked into the face of the girl she was talking to, her lips were moving but Rhea couldn't hear anything she was saying. But looking at her the face morphed into Heppa Duskdale's. The contorted face that killed Kaspar right in front of her now stood there. Rhea grabbed her face and looked away from the girl. It happened again and even though she knew it would it didn't make it any easier to accept that Henry was dead. It was all her fault that he was dead, she promised not only him but also Chase that she would look out for him. But she failed and she couldn't help but feel that if Katya was their mentor then Henry wouldn't be dead right now. "I....I'm sorry. I can't do this....I have to go." Rhea walked out of the building and sat on the steps that lead up to the door. She cried, she couldn't hold it in anymore; the feelings that she had just overwhelmed her.
