Sighing, Van stood up, obeying Chub's orders. She stood there, feeling like a mannequin in a store's window, not bothering to act sexy. Though it was mostly because she didn't know how and didn't wanted to end up looking stupid.

Vanessa rolled her eyes. She gave in and decided to do something, but it definitely wasn't going to be dancing. Van gave a little runway strut, swaying her hips from side to side. She struck a pose at the end, fluttering her eyelashes and biting her lip. Then quickly she changed to her usual self, narrowing her eyes at the two. "Happy?" She murmured, her cheeks hot from embarrassment.

Chub however was applauding and it looked like she wiped away a tear "Oh that was fantastic!" Chub chided "Absolutely amazing, Oh!" she gave a content sigh "Do something else! Ben watch that body move!"

I almost grin, "I am, but right now it looks like a deadbeat" I mutter, "Why not get into the idea of it and not stop acting for a few seconds?"

Vanessa shook her head. "No, thanks....Once was more than enough for me." She said, crossing her arms, refusing to do anything.

Chub huffed "Vanessa stop that. We're helping you and you better get into this or you won't be wearing anything in that chariot." she hefted her rolling pin, "Do you want to rethink your last statement?"

I step in, obviously having the rum getting to me, "Maybe you should ask Ceasar to a dance!" I shout convincingly, I step up to her, "Here, we can practice now, I'll teach you a capitol dance"

Vanessa's mouth dropped open, "What?" She almost shouted, shocked. Then Van caught sight of the rolling pin and an angry Chub. Not wanting to have brain damage caused by a rolling pin, she hesitantly turned back to Ben and agreed, "Um...Okay."

I smile, "Here" I say, offering my hand, "Its pretty easy, you put a hand on my shoulder, I put mine on your hip, our other hands hold up, and we step in a circle and spin some"

Vanessa placed a hand on Ben's shoulder and started to follow the steps. Well, she tried to. Dancing had never been one of Van's strength, which could be seen as she accidentally stepped on Ben's feet more than once. Slightly giggling, she pulled away. "You know what? I think we can abandon this idea. It won't really give the impression of sexy, so much as clumsy."

Chub shook her head "No NO no. You are not going to be beat by some farm girl from district 10." She bemused angrily "I'm not letting Dianna beat me at this again!"

I almost laugh at the mention of my Stylist, some things never changed did they? "Well, if you insist" I say, stepping back and taking a seat, rubbing my shoes for effect.

I laugh loudly, "I'd expect a girl her age to be working on a boat fishing like everyone else in the district!" I shout, angered by how little these people knew of the districts.

I shrug, "Sorry, I tried to teach what I know, and classy goes well with sexy, either way, I don't expect anyone from any district to be big on dancing, so I don't know what to expect from some arrogant girl who so openly hates me"

Vanessa rocked back and forth on her feet, worried. How was she to earn the Capitol's interest if she sucked at being sexy? And now that she knew she had competition doing the same angle, she was becoming even more nervous. Van really needed all the help she could get. "Please, Ben. I'll try to take this seriously now. I don't want to die out there because I refused to do what my stylist and mentor told me." She told him, looking up in pleading eyes. "I'll even try to be nicer, and that's saying a lot."
