Pandora entered the glass elevator from her luxury floor for the District Seven tributes. The capitol had tried their best to make Pandora comfortable in the days before slaughter, but Pandora couldn't seem to calm down. Her stomach had been in a tight knot since she climbed aboard the train that took her from her home, and it only had become tighter as the day of the start of the Hunger Games came closer.
But Pandora tried to put that aside for now.
She walked into the Training gym. Most people were training with the range station, though she did see a few people checking out the knot station, and a few at the survival station. Pandora planned on checking them all out. But first she needed to learn about medicine. If she was bleeding to death, knowing how to stop the bleeding would be nice.
"Hi..." She said in her quiet voice. The instructor looks up, and smiles back. He begins to point out a few different plants that may be able to be found in the arena to use for tracker jacker stings, ant bites, scrapes, and a few other things.

Solange started to feel the soreness in her muscles after her session at the melee station as she walked towards the station filled with plants and medicine. She spotted a girl there as well but hesitated to make much communication really. She smiled to the trainer who came up to her and she started taking a look at all the plants displayed on the table. "Do you regconise any of these?" the trainer asks her after staring at the plants for a few moments. Solange looked up and mouthed nope, smiling a little in a dumb way. The trainer chuckled and started going over everything important; what was used for burns, cuts, gashes, poison, itches and other bad wounds. Once he got that covered he started going over the less important ones; headaches, coughs, the sniffles. Solange took her time to memorise by all means. Plants and herbs were confusing, they looked exactly the same; green and leafy. She started to feel and smell each of them and it became easier to remember. She picked up different herbs each time, mouthing out what they do and after a long, mentally tiring challenge, the trainer nodded his head, giving his approval of her new found plant knowledge. Hopefully she still remembers all of that by tomorrow. She stretched her arms in the air a bit and turned around, after thanking the trainer. Solange glanced towards the girl, apparently from Distict 8, and smiled to her and left quickly. It felt awkward being quiet there at the station but then again, everything felt so awkward in the whole room. Solange decided that it was probably time to leave the room as all the tributes trained in silence or soft murmurs further away.

Pandora watched as someone else walked up to the station and stood next to her. She didn't seem to know that much about medicine and herbs, but seemed to catch on faster then Pandora. She was even a little jealous. Don't be jealous, She told herself. Now is the time to start looking at people as potential allies instead. The instructor went over a few more things, like burns and scrapes, and then some of the minor things that would be more of an annoyance to have. Pandora tried to keep track of everything, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to retain all of it.
"Man... if... if I had known I was going to be in the Hunger Games I would have begun studying a long time ago..." Pandora remembered her grandmother telling her about the traditional games and that they were an honor. She told Pandora she needed to learn certain things, just in case. But Pandora didn't listen, and now she regretted it.
Pandora looked over to the girl, and saw that she was from District two, a careerer district. She wondered if she'd be able to get in with the careerers, because if you got in with them, it'd be easy to make it to at least the final 12... or at least close.
