The District 11 escort steps up on stage and smiles with blindingly white teeth. She starts speaking in a high pitched voice, "Welcome everyone to the Reapings! Today one young man and woman will be chosen to participate in the 33rd Annual Hunger Games!" She steps up to the big bowls containing the names of every child in the district, from 12 to 18. Her hands hover above the bowls for a second, as if deciding something. "Now then, Ladies first!" she says, and reaches into the bowl filled with girls names...

Arisu hummed a little tune to herself, making her merry way to the huge crowd of people. Year after year, she wonder if the size grew more than it shrank. More young ones are definitely coming in. Or maybe it's just her bad memory. Arisu shrugged, standing among the older kids, seeing nothing but their backs. It stopped bothering her after awhile, she'd entertain herself by guessing how the stage went, how the Capitol lady was dressing and stuff. She knew her family was something out there, waiting around so that they could all go back home, as a family, hopefully safe and sound. Arisu rocked her weight from her balls to her heels, can't really stand still much. It doesn't show on her face but, if anyone could look into it closely, she was actually nervous, all the fidgeting and humming was probably the only thing keeping her facade on. She waited and waited, till everyone was settled in, the air was as tensed as a thin string at its limits. She pouted a little, people needed to lighten up more. See? That Capitol lady knows how to do it. Arisu bet that this year, she was on purple hair, maybe those stand up kind with a horrible pink dress or something. She giggled inwardly, making up the bad outfit day for that Capitol lady, and quickly swallowed it before anyone spotted her. She turned her attention to the voice as she announced the picking of the ladies. Arisu twiddled her fingers, trying to stay cool as she effortlessly pulled off a grin no one above her height would've saw, waiting. For a name, any name to be called just so she could settle the anxiety in her. It was so unlike herself it made her even more nervous due to that fact.

She dug her hand into the bowl and pulled out the female tribute's name, "Magnollia Twill" She called out and then she dug into the male's bowl. "Marcus Forrester"
