District 7 Train

This is the D7 Train for D7 tributes

Daniel walked onto the train after the peacekeepers left with Greta. He noticed female tribute wasn't in the main room. He smiled as he saw the food and took an apple from it. He started to eat it, then remembered the crown on his head. He took it off and smiled to himself. He put it to the side and waited for the brand new mentor to come in. Last he remembered it was the most recent victor in that district that would be the mentor...which meant he had a mentor that was younger than him...

Errik made his way towards the train, after the reapings had been finished. This year the tributes were both much older than him, and he was a little bit nervous. He entered the diner car of the train, and saw the male tribute, Daniel, he remembered was his name.

Daniel had almost zoned out when he heard someone enter. He looked behind him and saw Errik. He got up and said, "You must be Errik, right?" He noticed that he was taller than his mentor and he smiled. He held out his hand and said, "Daniel Ralcom...this is a bit ironic, isn't it?" He had a friendly smile, not wanting him to be nervous around him. Hell, he knew he would be if he had to coach a pair of tributes older than him.

I took a good look at Daniel, he was taller than myself and he seemed very capable. "Errik White, yes." I replied introducing myself. "It is a bit ironic, I guess. But I am still very capable, my size doesnt take away from that." I added.

Daniel listened to what he was saying and he shrugged. "I can see that...considering you made it out of the games alive, I'd say you could easily take care of yourself." He's still smiling and then he says, "Well anyway, got any strategies you'd like to share?He was genuinely interested. He wanted to know how he could win...and come back.

I grabbed a glass of orange juice and took a seat. "Water and med kits are the most important thing inside the arena, with out them you will die. Allies have both good and bad sides, use your instincts with making decisions." I took a sip of my juice, and waited for Daniel to reply.

Daniel took a mental note of that and said, "Alliances...I can see the bad and the good things about them, but if I were to be in an alliance, what kind of people do you think would be best to side with?" Daniel had already gotten an idea for what kind of partners he would want, but he also wanted the opinion of someone who actually survived the games at such a young age. It almost...fascinated him. Although, that was a slightly rude thing to tell someone.

I nodded and took another sip of my orange juice. [color=red"The careers are almost always the strongest group, but they arent normally very welcoming of other tributes. Joining forces with the strongest people from outside of the career group is what I did, as well as my older brother."[/color] I replied, answering his question.

Daniel keeps noting everything he says. He takes another bite of his apple and savors the juicy fruit. He smiles slightly wider and says, "The Capitol sure knows how to pamper the tributes before they get slaughtered..." He keeps eating the apple, sitting down finally. In his other hand, he's still carrying the crown that had been given to him.

I chuckled, "This is nothing, wait till you get to the capitol Center. Such rich food there, and so much variety too." I replied as I picked up a tart and took a bite.

He raises an eyebrow. "Better food? Well, I think I've found an upside to this trip..." He gets up and drops his apple core into the trash bin. He carefully places the crown on his head and smiles. "Look good?" He asked jokingly, looking at him. He looked strange to say the least, but he was still smiling.

I watched as Daniel decided to try on some of the things out for display. "Well that is the best you are going to look for a very long time, with the exception of the parade." I replied, laughing.
