PostSubject: Description of the District   Description of the District Icon_minitimeSun Feb 19, 2012 7:15 pm

District Nine sits in the Center of a desert, with only small patches of grass. The upper district features most of the public services, including electricity, storage and peacekeeper buildings. It also features water storage tanks that connect to nearby lakes via pipelines, where citizens must pay for their water. The upper district used to house some factories, but they were abandoned and now generally used for those shady deals between citizens. Most of the active factories lie in between the Upper District and the residential area of town, with cracked terrain. The grain fields are situated beside a man-made lake for water supply, and boasts a large amount of grass. The Residential Area is filled with houses for the citizens of the district. the area is riddled with sand hills that the children play on when they aren't working, usually capture the flag throughout the town or king of the hill, it is one of the few enjoyments for most of the district's young population. The Victors Village sits on the border of town, looking like the Villages in the other districts. The Victors Village contains some of the few trees in the district, giving shade to the victors that live there.
