Aspen knew that now wasn't the time to argue and she was going to make sure that, they'd both get out alive, she had no idea how many there would be after this but she knew that priority was getting out of here alive. Aspen sighed she was growing tired with all of this at the moment, these zombies were being a bit irritating but hey, they were easy to kill it seemed. Aspen jabbed her stake at Kaius wanting to finish him off, and soon enough she turned to see how Norman was doing and as she did she had let her guard down being attacked by one of the zombies. "Son of a bitch." She mumbled and then decided it was time to block for Norman, she swung her stake to knock away the zombie. "You can hate me later" She called out to him.

The zombies continued their attacks. Meanwhile, The baby dinos in the tributes' bags had begun to struggle, wanting to get out and do...well who knew what.

NORMAN ROWE -- District Seven -- DENO THE DINOSAUR

Norman watched as Aspen blocked an attack on him again. Glaring, he returned focus to his zombies, "And I am back to owing her," he thought. He felt exhaustion setting in as he watched his zombies carefully. The blonde missed with her attack, but the little one was able to get close enough to swing correctly at Norman. Throwing his arm up to use the stake as a block, Norman attempted to block the small attack. Shifting his momentum from that, he swung towards the blonde zombie, the healthier zombie on his side.

Aspen knew he was glaring at her but they'd have to talk about it later. Aspen was already a bit thirsty and she was also a little bit tired, but she was going to keep going, she had to keep going on. Aspen jabbed hard at the zombies, "Just die you piece of crap." She mumbled and then again, she noticed Norman needed help, he couldn't get mad this time, she wasn't getting hurt in the process, her zombies were appearing to get lazy at the moment.

As the zombies collapsed, the ones facing Aspen lost their knives down the path, into the darkness. There was a sound as if they had fallen and hit bottom, very faint, after a few seconds. Norman's attackers' skidded to a stop, one in front of each tribute. The lights flicked off again. When they came back, all that remained of the zombies were bloodstains, the two knives, and a bag of string, just in front of the darkness on the other side.

NORMAN ROWE -- District Seven -- DENO THE DINOSAUR

Norman watched Aspen's zombie collapse and watched his own stand in front of the duo. Norman jumped when the lights flickered off, raising his weapon to defend himself. His breathing intensified as the light flickered back on and he spun himself to make sure they weren't surrounded. Stopping facing the way Aspen was, Norman looked around. He noticed bloodstain with two knifes and a bag near them. Knelling down, Norman nudged the bag open with his stake. He saw string inside, oddly enough. Grabbing one of the knives and the bag of string, Norman stood straight. Tossing a knife to Aspen, he bent over to grab the other one. Twirling it in his hand, he slid his metal stake into his belt. Holding the bag open, he muttered to Aspen. "Looks like we got some string," he said, moving his fingers through it. "What could it be used for?" he wondered aloud. He felt his mesh bag wiggling, he must have not noticed it during the fight. Reaching in, he glanced down at Deno. "Yes, buddy?" he asked the little creature.

Aspen watched as her zombies had fallen and a sigh of relief had washed over her as she didn't see anything else emerge from the doors, but shortly the lights flickered off. Aspen held her breath and could feel her heart beating inside her chest and she was hoping it'd stop soon. The lights flickered on and there was stuff in the room. Norman had tossed her a knife and she grabbed it putting her metal stake in her belt. Aspen wiped her forehead for a moment and was catching her breath. Soon mention of string came into view, "I don't know but we should keep it, it was given out for a reason." Aspen said shrugging her shoulders and then, turned to look at Olive, "I'll let you out soon little guy, patience." She said softly to the dinosaur. "We should try the door now, maybe it's unlocked." Aspen said starting towards the door.

Deno looked up at Norman, his eyes pleading to be let out of the bag. Was it just Norman's imagination, or had he grown a bit?

The lights directly over the door flickered out, but the fifth path lit up, dim, but visible. The Gamemakers seemed to be telling the tributes something

Patting Deno's head, Norman whispered to the creature, "Don't worry bud, once we're safe you can come out." Glancing ahead, Norman noticed the light behind him had flickered out. Sighing at the light and nodding at Aspen's statement, Norman glanced ahead. The fifth area, in between the two sets of door pairs, lit up. Norman latched the bag of string to his belt, muttering, "Alright, I'll keep a hold on it then." Glancing ahead, Norman held his knife out before him. "Well, Aspen, it looks like there is only one way we can go from her. Way back's blocked. Are you ready? he questioned Aspen. Norman walked to the path and turned, watching to see if she'd follow.

Aspen, watched as the light when out and she stepped back. "Well that's not the way." She mumbled a bit to herself and then she turned and looked at the fifth way. This would either send them to more danger or send them somewhere else in the arena, but there was no where else to go, was there? she thought to herself and then she sighed and trudged on following Norman.
