It was quiet. Which was normally a good thing in my case. I personally like the quiet, it gives me time and a place to just think. Though in the Hunger Games, quiet isn't good. Quiet in the Hunger Games meant your heart stops beating. Quiet means your death, and death is not something I'm particularly looking for. As I step, a soft echo can be heard through the room and it's so quiet I'm honestly not used to it. Though that doesn't stop me from walking.

As I looked at the table in front of me, all I see is paper. It was scattered across the table like a twister had come through, which may happen knowing the twisted gamemakers, but it seems like an odd decoration to me. In my personal opinion I felt like they were covering up something, but I didn't want to make a huge mess, even though once these games are finished they'll be used as a museum like every other one. I can't help but just stare at the table, almost as if I were expecting something. Which, I kind of am. The games have been kind of quiet recently, quiet in these games meant that the capitol was getting impatient, which meant that something was about to come up.

There was silence, almost as if waiting for me to do something. So, I did. I started to search through the stacks of papers scrambled on the table for anything, something, maybe even the slightest hint of the green, white or red that would normally be on a medic kit. I was starting to get frantic and my scattering of piles quickened as I tried to find that kit. Why was I so focused? Because that was my life, and life meant breathing. And in this case, breathing is important.

I listen to my breath as it somewhat slows, almost like I was about to die and my heart was beating out, but I know it isn't. I wait for something to happen, but I do find something. It's not the medic kit, but it seems somewhat interesting. If I remember correctly it's a Bunsen Burner. It's still on fire with some kind of substance in it. For fire hazards, I attempt to look around for a plug that I can pull so the whole place doesn't burn down.

As I looked for the cord to unplug it, it led into a cupboard and the end was yet to be found. I had to mentally slap myself, why didn't I look in those? As I kneel down, I look around. I know that it'd be rare to find another tribute out and above the arena, but, I just have to make sure none are around. I turn my focus back to the cupboards, and start to search through them.

I seem to not be able to find anything, which doesn't surprise me. As I look at the cord I assume that all I can do is yank it and hope for the best to come out. I feel weird, almost as if I shouldn't do it. Though I'm going to die anyways right? Why bother not do what I shouldn't do? I grin at my sudden daredevil wishes. I don't know why I ever did not want to do what I wanted, but, this is a situation where my death is at risk. So why bother not having fun on the highway to hell?

The cord seemed stuck at first but after a good couple of yanks the socket head came off, but the smell of burning paper floating from behind. The yanking made the bunsen burner topple over as the flame still burnt and started eating into the papers.

I regret my decision. Almost an immediate reaction, but it wasn't a good one. The burner had toppled over with the flame still active and it started to flow through the papers almost as if it was a river flowing. It was just going. Not without any single care where its destination was. It just flowed. My first reaction was to jump up and step back, but I knew I needed to put it out. But with what? I started to frantically look around. There was always a fire extinguisher in a Science Lab, right? There was always a chance for an experiment to be flammable, and this one was one of them.

The fire extinguisher was locked up, most likely back then to prevent children from getting into it. I let out a soft sigh, but there may be more possible ways to extinguish it. Wait. Wouldn't there be a sink? Sinks meant water. Water meant extinguishing. (sorry on my phone)

It was getting hard to breath in the building as the fire had built up, getting larger and larger. I find the sink, attempting to find something to put the water in. Should I even attempt to put the fire out? What if the gamemakers make the fire larger, and try to kill me? All I can do is hope not. With that, I look around for a bucket.

There were no buckets around, only the tiny hose connected to the sink head, like nay usual lab sink. The smoke was starting to clog up the room even closer down to the tribute.

Tristan was going to die if he did nothing about the fire, so, he did something. Even though the smoke was filling his eyesight he still knew what to do. Or he hoped. Taking the hose attached to the sink, he pointed it at the fire. Turning the sink on, all he could hope for was the fire to die.

It seemed that the fire had started to distinguish from the flames, but it was still dancing. I was scared, I wanted to run but I just couldn't. I need that medic kit, though I don't even know if it's in here. And I couldn't risk the chance of burning it down. I want to live, but staying here for the medic kit could kill me, though it could save me too. The flames danced on the tbale, almost teasing me. I could probably get the flames out or save one area, but, which side of the table? I jsust aim for the middle, hoping for the best.
