I walked outside and took a deep breath. The fresh air was, well, refreshing.The trees and grass swayed slightly in the breeze. I walked off the bridge and to the moat and dipped a finger in. Just a second ago, water had been my enemy, but now it was my best friend. I took my finger out and laid down my blanket. I sat down. I wondered if there were any animals we could hunt down ad eat. Apples and crackers weren't very filling. The I realized that I was sitting next to a moat, which was probably full of fish. "We should try to fish a bit. Maybe we'll catch something. Get our energy up." I muttered to Estrella. I took my sword and tried to stab a few fish, but it was much harder than I had originally thought. The fish were quick, and my reflexes weren't as good as the fishes'. But, years of fishing told me to stand in the creek barefoot. So, that's what I did. Then I waited patiently. The fish seemed startled, but they relaxed when they noticed I wasn't moving. I attempted to stab one, hoping to kill.

I had ran after Esther as far as my little body could take me. When we ended up at the drawbridge again I sat down on the blanket she laid out. When she began fishing I sighed, it wasn't the best idea there could be any type of mutt in the waters. "I wouldn't trust those waters very much." I mumbled from where I was. I wasn't going to attempt to catch fish by shooting arrows, that was pointless and I'd be wasting my arrows. I took some crackers out and ate them satisfying my hunger for now. I walked off a bit back to the place we had killed Silver and I found the one arrow I tried to hit Esther with before and picked it up and then walked back to how Esther was doing.

ITEMS: Rope, Bucket(with water), crackers, pickaxe, bow, quiver with arrows(x18)

Esther manages to stab the fish with her fishing skills. It is a small trout.

I finally managed to kill a small trout. "Yes!" I whispered to myself. I flipped my hair out of my face and picked up the trout. I wondered if I should start a fire. I thought for a moment. Nah, it's be too risky. I pursed my lips. I walked back onto the grass and held held up the trout so that Estrella could see it. "How do you suppose we cook it?" I asked her. I hadn't a clue. In District Four, we used our old stone oven.
I could still remember Tarin teaching me how to cook my first fish. I had burnt myself several times that day. Cooking wasn't exactly my forte. Something inside of me want to tear up in yearn to see my family. I coughed to get rid of the tenseness in my throat. I wouldn't cry. Not in front of the cameras. I sighed and awaited Estrella's answer.

I was laying on my back by the point that Esther had caught a small fish. I had actually almost dozed off trying to get some sleep, I needed it but it was hard with the games. I sat up sleepily and shook my head a bit. I cupped water out of my bucket and splashed my face to wake me up. Now wasn't the time to sleep, I could sleep when I got back on the train to go back home to district ten. "Well, we could eat it raw if we really have to but I wouldn't suggest it." I said to Esther when she asked on how to cook the trout.

Out of nowhere, a huge Crocodile lunges out of the moat and grabs Esther, dragging her down into the water. The surface of the moat takes on a tinge of red, and a cannon sounds. Estrella hears and snarling, and realizes the crocodile is back, staring right at her. It lunges and attacks.

I was about to say something to Esther again when in a few moments Esther was taken and killed. It happened quite fast but I was shocked. I sighed, this had to happen some point in time? I had to fight, couldn't have everyone else do it for me, how was I suppose to go home that way? I quickly got up and tried my best to move out of it's reach so I wouldn't get damaged. I then quickly put my bow in my quiver and then held my pickaxe, it was easier to use and not waste arrows. I swung at the crocodile hoping to at least hit it.

ITEMS: Bow, quiver of arrows(x17), pickaxe, half a package of crackers, rope, and bucket.

The Crocodile was enraged that this girl had evaded it. It attacked again, ripping Estrella's rope while attempting to attack her.

I finally focused on the target, the damn thing had broken my rope and as it did this I backed away quickly hoping I had dodged yet another attack. I wouldn't always be this lucky and I knew that I needed to kill this blasted thing. I swung my pickaxe at him again and hopefully I'd hit it this time, I needed to, I couldn't keep missing the crocodile other wise I was in danger.

ITEMS: same except rope is torn and on the ground probably.

The Crocodile shrugs off the attack and bites at Estrella again.

If I could manage to get Esther's body and get the sword from her it'd be much better than using a pickaxe, using a pickaxe wasn't the best choice but I didn't want to waste my arrows, not yet, I had other opponents to use it on. I jumped out of the way again hoping to avoid the attack this time, last time it hurt but I wasn't giving up. I then swung my pickaxe at the mutt again.

At this point I was about to freak out and run but that wouldn't do me any good and why let a silly crocodile take me down? I could do better than this and I could kill this mutt. I took a breath in and focused my self again, I jumped back hoping to miss the attack and then tried to hit the crocodile again by swinging my pickaxe at it again.

The crocodile roars and backs away. Estrella's pickaxe is stuck in its skin and is pulled away, yanking it out of her hand. It shakes the pickaxe out and it lands behind it. The Crocodile then attacks once more.

I quickly reacted on instinct and pulled out my bow as I jumped to the side hopoing to avoid the crocodile's attack. I then took out an arrow and notched it and pulled back on the string, and took aim and shot. Focusing so much on aim wasn't necessary right now, plus it wasn't that far away from me.

ITEMS: Bow, Quiver of arrows (x16), bucket, crackers. (Pickaxe is on the ground and rope is broken in two.)

I didn't want to die here but my attacks either kept missing or I didn't get out of the way in time. This was stupid but there wasn't much that I could do but keep blocking and attacking. The crocodile hit me the first time but the second time I tried jumping out of the way. I then shot an arrow hoping to hit the crocodile.
