Dining Room

Subject: Dining Room Mon Mar 07, 2011 12:10 am

I entered the room Milo on my heals, I saw three people, One was a young lady who looked like she was going to burst with excitement she introduced herself as 'Poppy' who would be my stylist, another older gentleman said he would be our dignitary for the games, and I respectfully shook hands with him as he introduced himself as, 'Chandral' [Shan-Drawl] I hovered near Milo as he was talking with his stylist.

You can make up your stylists name ^^

-Milo's stylist is a girl as well, Olivia Gigggle. X) She's Capitol-ish, with a lazy perspective on the world. But she can make good fashion choices.

Poppy smiled brightly and pumped her tribute, Brook's, hand. "Oh I have so many ideas for you little miss gorgeous!" she squeaked.

"Hello Young Man! I am your stylist Olivia Gigggle" to which I giggled "You may call me Olivia, Oh just looking at you brings so many glamorous ideas to mind!" I yawned quickly "Oh but it is late shall we sit down for dinner than?"

I smiled hesitantly "Thanks umm Poppy, may I ask what you had in mind?" I asked fearing the worst. I was already uncomfortable, the last thing I needed was to be naked in a chariot brandishing some hospital cross in front of the Capitol.

"I believe it's time to eat" Chandral spoke deeply taking a seat at the table

Everyone took their seats around the large table and the first course came. Milo ate well back at home, but this food had so much flavor. The Capitol stylists never seemed to stop talking. Milo hoped that Brooks' stylist was good, he was wary about what Gigggle would do to him.

"I just have so many ideas," Poppy warbled, finishing only a few bites of her meal and then calling an avox to throw it out. "I'm just so excited I can't eat!"

XD perfect portrayal of what I had imagined ^^

I frowned inwardly, I wasn't sure about Poppy yet, although I did eat a little. The food was undesribable how such rich flavor good be made through such simple food! I wondered to myself if it was fortified with drugs to make us grow or something but, for now dismissed the thought. I stayed near Milo not wanting to separate from him unless absolutely necessary.

"I swear you are one of the most handsome men I've had yet!" chirped Olivia "You both are absolutely FAB-U-LOUS!" and Poppy and Olivia delved onto conversation leaving Brook and Milo on their own while the sylists quietly discussed their ideas.

Milo leaned over to Brook and whispered in her ear, "Can you believe these people?" He was dreading meeting with his stylists, who knew what they'd do to both of them?

I shook my head and whispered back, "No and I'm not exactly excited to hear about some of these ideas either." I said grasping his hand under the table "I want to go home Milo, I'm scared" I confessed my feelings not wanting pity just a listening ear

Milo nodded. Though his life hadn't been the best in 6, he already yearned for it. "What do you suppose they'll put us in?" he asked under his breath.

I shrugged "Somewhere closely packed is my guess." I said for once thinking "they want as many tributes to kill each other as possible." I shuddered at the thought of another person stabbing me with a sword and I let out an involuntary whimper.

The adults glanced up from their heated discussion. Milo thought of someone killing Brook and his stomach turned.

"Are you children okay?" Poppy squeaked, her voice concerned.

Milo quickly covered. "We're not used to the strong food," he said. "I think Brook's not feeling well."

I nodded feeling sickly anyways and rubbed my stomach.

"Oh Mai!" Olivia gasped "Perhaps a good nights sleep will solve that?" Olivia giggled they just looked so cute together, "Oh your outfits will be wonderful!"

Milo's stomach turned again at her words and stood up. "Thank you all," he said, and hurried out as fast as possible without them thinking he was trying to get out as fast as possible. Once out of the dining room, he waited for Brook in the hall.

I followed Milo still clutching my stomach now of course I actually felt sick and my nerves weren't helping my anxiety, I carefully made my way and leaned heavily on the doorframe to my room. Was I sweating. "Maybe it's the food?" I questioned though not believing it

"It's everything," Milo replied. He followed her into her room and looked out across the Capitol. "I hate this place."

I nodded opening the door to my room and ushering Milo inside as I followed him though I happened to look down the hall to see two peacekeepers glaring at us, I quickly shut the door behind me intent on taking shower.

The adults were already grouped around the table when the tributes arrived. "What a gorgeous dress!" Poppy squealed at Brook. Her eyes bulged. "I can't tell you!" she cried, burying her head in the crook of her elbow. "But I want to so bad! You'll know soon enough."

Milo pulled out Brook's chair and made sure she was seated before he took the chair beside her.

"Ooh Poppy we should tell them!" Olivia squealed with delight pulling a picture from her pocket but not quite showing it. "It couldn't hurt to have a peek? Would it? Maybe they can try them on? You know make sure they fit?"

I sat down heavily thanking them for the compliments. Unsure if I did actually want to hear their decision. "It's not Nudity right?" I questioned uncertainly.

Olivia pursed her lips happiness on her face and slid the picture to Milo. "The final product with have sapphires embroiderd in it but other than that it's magnificent right?!" She shrieked.

I was in shock at the magnificent dress in front of me. "Oh wow.." I breathed, I was totally expecting to be crammed in some skimpy nurse outfit. But this, Oh This! "T-Thanks Poppy.. It's gorgeous" I looked up into her eyes "Could I try it on?" I asked
