Milo's Room

Milo hurried Brook into the first room along the hallway and shut the door. Turns out, it was the room meant for Milo himself. "Okay," he said breathlessly. "How bad is it?"

"I don't know." I said pain etched through every syllable. "Hope I'm not bleeding or there's going to be trouble." I slowly peeled off the jumpsuit standing in my undergarments, revealing a long looking blue bruise just to the left of my spine. I laid face down on the bed unable to see. "How bad?" I asked scared of the answer?

Milo winced. Egh.....he blinked twice. "It's not bleeding. It's just badly bruised. Wait here, I'll get you some ice." He hurried out of the room.

I nodded slightly pain etched in my brain so deeply I could feel it throb with my heart "Hurry please" I bade him

Milo sped into the kitchen and-thankfully-someone had put out some fruit salad for them on ice. He scooped some into shirt and ran back. "Here, it's gonna hurt," he warned, pressing the chunks onto the bruise.

"You just had to hug me didn't you?" I groaned but still managing a smile "OWOWOW" I swatted his hand away. "Just rub the muscles to relax it" I advised "That with ice should help"

"You're the doctor," Milo said, wincing again and rubbing the purple flesh. At least the swelling was going down, though. "Our mentor's going to be furious."

I sighed with a bit of relief "Not if we don't tell her!" I gave another sigh "I need to find a dress or something to wear to dinner." I said "So no one gets suspicious,"

"If you can even walk," Milo said, skeptical. "It's going to be okay, though. Tomorrow it'll be a little sore, but after that it won't. I've had these sorts of things before." Milo glanced at the clock on the wall. "Dinner's in ten minutes."

"Help?" I pleaded attempting to sit up. "Don't bother with the jumpsuit. I'll be quick across the hall. I hope" I stood up with his help, "Wait a sec. Did you check your closet? This morning they had your clothes in my room, maybe I have some here?"

Milo pulled open the closet door and looked inside. "Ick," he said. "This closet's as big as the room." At the front were some men's clothing, pants, cotton shirts, and such. As Milo went deeper, though, he found an old dress patterned with roses. "Here," he said, throwing the dress out of the closet and coughing on the dust. "No one's been back there since the start of the Games."

I shriveled my nose, "Anything else?" I asked "I hate roses... Long story don't ask."

Use your imagination xD Brook needs a good dress for dinner!

I picked up the second one "I like the darker colors" I mumbled slipping it on, I checked the clock "Time to eat?" I confirmed "Wonder what Olivia and Poppy have been scheming, Poppy seems to happy and Olivia is just... Odd.." I shook my head "Help me walk please?"

Milo extended his arm in a gentlemanly way and supported her with the other. "Ready?" he asked, and opened the door.

I took his arm almost leaning on him "I guess.." I said and we exited the room
