Typical Sunday morning, Marty was walking around for food. He had found a bag full of coins by chance. So he devided to shop for some food and otber things he needed.

After spending many days in front of the TV,I decided to go for a walk to clear my head.Laura was in the Games.I wouldn't see her again.It hurt so much just to think that.Was she thinking of me now?Did she even care?I sighed and lowered my head,still walking.I didn't know where I was going and I didn't care.I just wanted to get away from here.

I decided to go visit the upper district to do some trading. Eric had asked me to take the game he had bagged the other day, and use the money however I wanted. I walked along the street, with the bag at my side. Today had been his interview, he had done very good and appealed to the capitol in every way he could have.

As I kept walking,I noticed some other guys too.I hoped they wouldn't talk to me,I wasn't in the mood.

I heard someone calling us, so I turned around and saw Samantha, a girl that happened to go to the same school as me. "Hey, what brings you to this part of town?" I asked her.

I looked up when I heard a voice and was surprised to see that now there was a girl here too,talking with one of the guys.She turned to look briefly at my direction and,when my eyes met hers,I had a flash back at my last conversation with Laura.Her eyes reminded me of her,for a strange reason.But...Who was it?

I look up and notice that I was in a daze this whole time. People were here. Whoops.

It's sad what the capitol does to us. Taking kids in to kill each other and making us watch. Just sick.

I turned quickly back as I overheard a conversation about the games. I heard a name and memories flooded my mind. That small girl in my uncle's house with that mysterious woman. The teenage who was picked for the Games. I wondered why did that boy care about her. Everyone knew, that Games is a big Rip for everyone exept one that I was sure it could't be Laura. I stared him for a moment, that melancholic boy. Who was he?
''Hey!'' I said. ''My name's Samantha! What's yours?''

I looked into the eyes and smiled in a friendly way to show him everything was okay. For a strange reason, he was nervous and awkward. '' Ermm... So, do you think she will win?'' I asked straight away. ''Laura will make it for our district to win the Games?''

I had just finished trading my bag of game at one of the shops that I frequent often. I pocket the nice sum of change I had received, and began to walk around aimlessly. I browsed the other shops, looking at the goods. I came upon the group of people I had seen earlier. "Hey guys, how are you all doing?" I asked as I arrived at the shop they were standing in front of.

I rolled my eyes at them and turned to leave.I couldn't stand them anymore,I wanted to be alone.Besides,I was too emotional to make a logical conversation.I walked away,not even waving goodbye.
