Even More Candy

Aurora was sick of candy being everywhere. She just wanted just a bit of something being normal in her life. She hated candy in the first place now it was everywhere. She knew she should get back to the others but knew at this rate she'll never catch up with them. She was too tired. She knew sleeping on the ground was an bad idea. So what about the trees. She shock a smaller young tree with lollipops growing on it to see if there was anything living in it. If not she'll sleep there and wait until morning to go find the others, or maybe they'll find her.

Aurora decides the tree is the safest spot for now and climbs up the tree. She could only hope nothing else will bother her. She wished she could find some sort of sign of human life. It was getting rather lonely, it had been maybe only a few hours. She wasn’t used to being alone for such a long time. Even when she was working in the woods of District 7, it was never this quite or lonely. But then again she’d rather be lonely then have some sort of mutt come out.

She settles down on a branch of the tree, thankful for her petite form. She wasn’t really worried about falling since she wasn’t that height up plus she never moved at all in her sleep. She took out one of her knives from where she was hiding it and let it sit on her lamp. If anything attacked her this time, she was going to kill it.

Aurora’s eyes are getting heavy. She forces herself to let the close if only for a few moments. She is so tired. She tries to think of happy thoughts of District 7 but it only brings tears since she had a feeling deep down she would not be coming hope to District 7 alive. She hoped her family would move on. She knew that they would manage. They always had found ways to manage even when times were really hard.

“Please don’t cry for me. Just keep on moving,” she said. Let all of Panem know her thoughts. Let the all hear what she had to save. If she was going to die in this place she was going to die speaking freely the thoughts in her head.
