Trying to rest

After leaving the mud room,I went back to the upper floor but couldn't find where Eric was.Instead,I discovered another room,that looked like no one had been in here for years.I steped in carefully,now having trust issues.I slowly walked towards the wall closer to the door and placed my sword down next to me.I felt hungry but knew I could make it for the day without food.All I needed now was a friend.

After a while I could feel my eyes closing.I decided to let myself rest but still be in allert.Soon after,I was back in District 7,playing soccer with Jasper and the guys.Mom had made one of her famous cakes and we were all racing to my house.A small smile appeared on my face and a tear ran down my cheek.I knew I wasn't going to see them again.I sighed and rested my head on the wall.Better not to think about that now.

This Warrior came out and he had a group of other warriors with him. They circled around her, "What are you doing here in our temple." He growled. at the girl.

I jumped up and grabbed my sword surprised."Um..Sorry,Sir.I just thought it would be a safe place for me to rest,Sir.I didn't know it was your temple,Sir"I explained quickly.

"You know what we do to people like you?" he said roughly and then all of a sudden he pulled a lever and stairs came down, "if you go down here, there's nine tunnels, you get 1 minute to find the right one that leads you to safety if you don't find it, then we'll get to attack." he said and then waited for her to go down the steps.

I knew I hadn't time for questions so I just ran downstairs.There were indeed nine tunels,all of them looking the same.I stopped for a minute and stared at them.I then smiled and walked towards the seventh one,hoping number 7 would bring me luck one again.

As Laura neared the end of the 7th tunnel it appeared to not be the way out.

After a few minutes,I saw a black brick wall,closing the end of tunnel 7.I cursed and turned to leave but realized I maybe was out of time.I decided to risk it and ran back,heading to tunnel no 3.

(May, just note that I never said a black brick wall came in and I never said you were running out of time yet. So there is no wall there, it's just a dead end. )

The tribute ended up going through the floor landing in a pit, with no visible way out at the moment.

I screamed when the floor under my feet turned into a pit and I fell.I tried to stop my fall and grabbed the ground but nothing happened.I laid there still for a moment,sure that this was going to be my ending.

A parachute came down and gave Laura a present. Inside was a medkit and a beef jerky pack.

I looked the parachute amazed as it landed in front of me.I grabbed the medkit and the beef pack and put them in my bag.A new plan formed in my mind.I grabbed my shovel and my sword and started climbing,using them as a hold on my way up.

The tribute managed to get out and she still had plenty of time o guess the right tunnel.

I noticed the warriors weren't here yet so I decided to follow Tunnel 3.I remembered the wound on my leg from the mutt's bite and stopped.Luckily,I found some bandages in my medkit and wrapped them around it.I promised to myself to take care of it if I got out of here alive and started running again.

There wasn't and exit at the end of tunnel three and the tribute would have to try on of the remaining seven tunnels, with some time left still.

I cursed again when I found out the tunnel was a dead end and turned to leave,hoping there was no trap to stop me this time.As I ran towards Tunnel 5,my mind started playing scenes from my past.A small smile appeared on my lips and I started running faster than before,praying that,this time,I was going to find the right one.

Tunnel Five was not the right tunnel but it did tell her it was one of the first four.

I knew my time was propably running out.Now knowing that the right tunnel was one of the first four,I ran out of Tunnel 5 and stopped to think.This was propably going to be my last decision so,after a moment of thinking,I ran towards Tunnel 2.

Tunnel 2 was the right tunnel and finally she came out into a wooded area.
