Heppa held her breath. It had to be her. She could win so easily. She smirked at the younger girls. They seemed so frightened. Heppa wasn't. If anything, she was excited. Heppa looked up at the escort eagerly. She crossed her fingers and hoped that her name would be called.

Heppa grinned. She wanted to jump around and do a little happy dance. But she didn't. She would look like a fool to her opponents. Heppa walked up to the stage and smirked to the boy tribute, Chaos. Heppa was going to win. No one could stop her. "Hey." She said simply to Chaos.

This was the day I was waiting for, a chance to show what I can do. Something clicked inside of me as I waited for the lady, I knew it would be me. I grinned happily as my name was called, people clapped me on the back but I knew that I would need to look mean if I wanted to win. I made my way up there and smirked at the camera, but with a hint of bloodthrist in my eyes. I glanced at the girl beside me and quickly answered her as the cameras trained in on us.

Heppa walked into the Justice Building once everyone had finished clapping. She didn't wait for anyone. She didn't need to. She had been preparing for this day her entire life. And to think, she didn't even have to volunteer. The Justice Building was nice but not Capitol nice. Heppa knew that.
Heppa walked into the room where she would await her family and friends. Heppa didn't expect any friends, she wasn't the friendly type. Jett Duskdale entered the room. He smiled proudly at Heppa. "That's my girl!" He said. Then he went through everything he could think of that Heppa might need to know in the arena. Finally, he said "I'll see you soon." and left. Next came Lilynn, Heppa mother. Lilynn smiled at Heppa. She kissed Heppa on the forehead. "Love you." She whispered. Lilynn unhatched the silver bracelet she wore. She put it in Heppa's pale had and smiled. Heppa smiled back."Thanks." She said to her mother. Next was Heppa's sister. Heppa wasn't looking forward to seeing Isis. She's such a brat.Heppa thought. Then Isis walked in. Isis's red hair was tied in an elaborate bun. Heppa smirked. Isis shrugged. "Try not to die, I guess." Isis said quite obnoxiously. "Why thank you sissy dearest."Heppa said coldly.
