Dinning Room

Subject: Dinning Room Tue Jun 26, 2012 12:57 am

After I finished training for the night I came inside and into the dinning room I was all smiley and giggly for the most part. I grabbed a bottle of water and began to drink it. When I found my mentor on the couch I came and sat next to him, "Training was good today!" I said a bit excited, perhaps his personality when I first met him rubbed off on me. "I learned how to shoot a bow and arrow, made an alliance with a tribute, talked a bit, practiced snares and my sword training! It went really well and tomorrow I sort of don't know what to do but I am sure the agility course could do me good right?!" I questioned looking at him and smiled, "Figure out an angle that'll work yet? I suppose I could just be an open book to the whole Capitol and tell my sob story but that isn't much, what do you think?" I asked next thing I knew I was hanging upside down from the couch giggling.

Franklin was surprised by her energetic attitude. "Well, you could be the energetic one now"

I looked at him from upside down and giggled a bit, "You look funny upside down." I said and then I rolled off the couch, "Woah! Blood rushing to my head!" I exclaimed and rubbed my head a bit. I frowned at him, "The energetic one? How is that fun?" I asked and then broke out into smiles again.

"Its not supposed to be fun, its supposed to make people like you?" he says.

"But shouldn't people already like me." I said and pouted looking at him. "I mean the stylist makes me look good in their eyes and I think they'll like me because I'm me!" I exclaimed and a bright smile was placed on my face. "How did you win?" I asked and now more curious to know about him in the games.

Franklin shrugs, "I'd prefer not talk about it"

I looked over at Franklin and then sat right next to him on the couch and pouted. "Please?" I begged and then reached my hands out and pinched his cheeks moving them. "Please tell me?! Please! I want to know!" I demanded and let hand fall and I was frowning.

Franklin pushes her down. "No" he says firmly.

I frowned and sat at the far end of the couch, what was wrong with me? First I was all cold and distant and now I wanted to talk...I wanted more attention, it had been so long since I had attention, I wanted more but I just curled up on my side of the couch, "Why don you like talking about it?" I asked more calmly now and I was no longer frowning.

I looked at Franklin, "Was it something terrible that you did or was it like something that didn't prove your ability? Like was it a fluke you won?" I asked and then looked down. "You don't have to answer." I mumbled.

He sat down, mood ruined, "What I did, and what it made me incapable of doing"

I frowned, "I don't understand what you mean by that..What it did? Made you incapable of doing?" I really didn't understand and I tried to make sense of it I tried to really think about it and still couldn't understand.

Franklin sighed again, "I'd really prefer not talking about it."

I sighed softly, "It's fine, I was just curious." I said quietly and played with my fingers. "I still can't think of an angle to play, I'm not that likeable, and I know you can't argue with that fact, hardly anyone spoke to me in training..Only a few." I say shrugging. I was trying to turn away from my previous curiousness and mostly because he didn't want to talk about it.

Franklin composed himself, "Have you considered a lone wolf approach?"

I had fallen asleep that night when he suggested something, I had heard it but forgot to reply. Tonight I got back from training and relaxed on the couch. "Franklin.." I called out. "I really want to win, what do I have to do to win?" I asked.

Franklin chuckles, "You kill people" he says, "That's how you win"

I rolled my eyes and allowed a small chuckle myself. "I should have said, what are some strategies I could use that would help me win? Like in the games or for the interviews, last night you said something about a lone wolf, how would one pull that off?" I asked. "And I want a more in depth answer about the last one." I added.

Franklin grins, "Lone wolf is when you have no allies, you work alone" He says, "Its less of a strategy and more of a guideline, how you go from that choice is a different story"

I thought about it for a moment and shook my head, "As much as it's a rather good approach, the plans I've gathered from training today by watching the other tributes just wouldn't work with a lone wolf guideline." I said and then thought for a moment and mentally shook my other thoughts away.

"I've already got one." I said flashing Franklin a smile, "It should go well with my plans and considering I'm not one to get super attached it should be fine, the only thing I am having a hard time thinking about is how I will display myself to the Capitol, I know they love, love stories but I don't know if that's for me. I also don't have much for training yet." I said.

Franklin thought of a new idea, springing off of the last topic, "You say you already have your own alliance, why not present yourself to the Capitol as a great leader?"

I thought about it for a moment, "A great leader." I said aloud trying to get a feel for it and thought about it. "So a great leader role is kind of like a confident role, correct?" I asked Franklin hoping I was right, "Or would that be one way of going about it? Is there another?" I asked curious to know just so I had my options open.
