"Well, here we are." Genevieve said, gesturing widely to the underground lake. After deciding upon a destination Genevieve had led Skye up to the caves. She had made sure to stop at regular intervals to check that there was nothing around. Bt whenever she stopped all was silent. There was probably a fight going on somewhere, and that was why the Gamemakers had left her and Skye alone. Or maybe the Capitol was content with all the violence from the second bloodbath. Quite a few people ahd died in that, and it had dwindled the tributes down to the Final 8. Genevieve cracked a small smile. Eight, like her district. It was an incredibly weak joke, but it still made Genevieve smile. she flopped down onto the floor and looked up at Skye.

Skye entered the caves after Genevieve to see an underground lake. It was quite peaceful and it suggested that all the others were somewhere else. "Well it really does seem really tranquil," Skye smiled and sat down next to Genevieve and sighed in content as his legs decided to shut down on him. How long has it been since he could sit? He pulled his backpack to the front and took out the first aid kit, taking the same cream as before and applied it on his injuries that hurt the most, hoping to sooth the pain.

He then grab the apple that he got from Megan. Skye then split the apple in half and gave one to Genevieve, taking a bite out of his. The apple ultimately settled down his stomach that started whining. He stared at the apple and looked down on the floor, resting his head on his knees before murmuring something that was muffled, "I should have protected her.."

Genevieve gratefully accepted her half of the apple. She chilled it down speedily and then pulled out an orange. She quickly peeled it and broke it in half. She devoured her half and was about to give the other half to Skye when he muttered something to himself. It sounded like he was guilty about Megan. It took Genevieve a little while to remember who Negan was. But eventually she realised that Megan had been Skye's district partner. Unlike her and Alistair, Megan and Skye had stuck together. But then Josh had murdered Megan. "You couldn't have done anything more than you did. And even though I didn't know Megan I'm sure she wouldn't want you to mope around feeling guilty for her death." she told him softly. Benefits offered him half her orange before grabbing her first aid kit and using it a bit.

Skye could almost imagine Megan tutting at him and he let out a gentle smile and looked back up to Genevieve, "You're right, thanks." He accepted the orange and took his time with the fruits he had in his hands. He finished off the apple and ate the orange in silence as Genevieve treated to her own wounds. His mouth had longed for the citrus for a while now. He missed the oranges Amaya always bought. It wasn't always delicious but it had the taste of home, even the taste of sea salt in some.

Skye felt that he really shouldn't be moping over Megan nor District 4 right now, but when will he ever get another chance to just sit down and think about them without the constant reminder of death? He wanted that chance to do so over and over again so badly. But everyone wants to get out alive and back home, it was an irritating thought that everyone could die by the snap of the Gamemakers' hands. Skye munched on the last piece of the orange and went towards the lake and took a sip of the water and cupped some out to clean and treat the less major wounds he didn't treat with the first aid kit. Best to keep it for a little while, he didn't want Ashley's kit to go to waste too quickly. Skye wondered what happened to the other tributes and where were they but his mind slowly drifted off as the fatigue took over. He laid down on the ground and mumbled to Genevieve, "Let's just get some rest first, just for a little while." A short nap was what he needed, and his body fully agreed, drifting off to sleep without waiting for Genevieve's reply. Hopefully his senses were still alert if anything came their way.

Genevieve watched Skye go down to the lake and clean his wounds. It looked like it worked, and it would be a good way for her to save her first aid kit. So, when Ske had returned, Genevieve went down to the water's edge. She drank a bit if the water before pouring it over some if her worse wounds. Then she trotted back up to Skye, just in time to here him suggest that they sleep. She opened her mouth to reply but then closed it once again. There was no use in replying; Skye was already asleep. Genevieve shrugged her shoulders lightly and got down into the ground. She pulled out her Hal let and wrapped it around her self. But she left her right arm free, so she could hold the spear. Then Genvieve slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep. It was just like the other ones she'd had in this cavern.

Skye stirred and rubbed his eyes. His free hand searched for his bow on instinct in case it gone missing but he touched the familiar curve and sat up. He groan at the stiffness of his neck, how long did he sleep? It felt like a long time but yet it felt so short. He hasn't slept for a while now and Skye felt much better after the nap, or how long it was. Skye turned his head to see Genevieve asleep as well and he rubbed his stiff neck, hoping to not wake her up. He went towards the lake and took a sip, washing the sleepiness off his face before sitting back down near their things.

Skye just sat there and spaced out, thinking about what would happen. He never really had a plan and his only plan to stick together with Megan came crumbling down. Skye glanced towards Genevieve and a side of his mouth tugged to a small smile. He and Genevieve never really met during training and stuff but he was glad that somehow they manage to get together as allies. Skye didn't catch any canons sounding and wondered if any tributes were fighting. Probably not though. Skye let his mind wander aimlessly and played with an arrow, waiting for Genevieve to get up. He gazed towards the lake and his sister's voice went past his mind; As long as there is water, you are home. He smiled and thought that he could probably catch some fish actually, it would make him feel a little closer to home, he peered into the lake from where he was looking out for any fish around.

Rhea was able to make her way through the caves and successfully navigated herself to the underground lake. Rhea continued to eat her apple, now finishing off the other half of the one she started earlier. She saw the glittering water that filled the hole in the giant cave. The water looked so clear and serene, but as she looked around her heart dropped towards her knee caps. She saw them, Skye and Genevieve. Well she did want to find them...I guess this was as good of a place as any to confront them. And she knew there would be a confrontation. She was sure Genevieve was still angry that she told her to leave the careers, and Skye...was well Skye.

Rhea carefully walked in, the spear gripped in her hand. She was sure that she was caught as soon as she walked into the cave. "Hey guys..." She gave an awkward wave towards the two, knowing full well now that they had definitely seen her and that she was going to have to deal with this problem once and for all.

The long grasses swirled to the tune of the wind. The wind itself was whistling like a giant echo. Genevieve stood in the centre of the field, her hair whipping her face like a sharp whip. She stroked it out of her eyes gently and held her hand up to shadow her face. The sun was shining down in a hazy glow. Everything was slightly blurry, nothing was in focus. The female tribute of district 8 stared around condusedly, trying to figure out where she was. She'd never seen a field like this in her home. And flash! Suddenly the field vanished and a dirty clearing surrounded her. A growling sound spun her around and a scream lodged itself in her throat. The Foxigator was back, and it was massive. It towered over her, a crazed light in its eyes. Genevieve spun on her heel and ran. But a hole opened up inthe ground before her and she fell down into the black...

Genevieve's eyes snapped open, her breathing slightly heavier than normal. For a moment she just lay there, confused and disorientated. Where was she? But then it all came flooding back. She was in the Arena. She was in the final 7 of the 28th Hunger Games. And she could very well die in the next few days. Genevieve sat up, shoving her blanket back into her bag. She took a drink from one of her water bottles and then stood up. It was then that she heard the slightly echoey noise of another voice. Genevieve's eyes snapped up, an her mouth turned down into a sneer. Rhea was back, and she actually had the nerveti speak to them. Genevieve tossed her hair over her shoulder and slashed at Rhea viscously.

Just as Skye was looking around for fish, he heard a crunching sound coming towards them. Without turning, his eyes glanced to a side, he felt a presence and suddenly, Skye felt that they weren't alone. He noticed Genevieve woke up as well. It could be anyone, or.. anything. Step step step step, was all that could be heard along with the trickling of water from the lake. He held onto his bow, one more step and Skye swiftly drew back an arrow with another in hand and turned around, releasing the arrow out of instinct before even making sense out of the figure. When his eyes adjusted a second later as he pulled a second one and aimed, he realised it wasn't Heppa or Josh nor was it any of those disgusting mutts. It was Rhea.

Somehow Skye felt that tinge of guilt for releasing that arrow, his old self would probably slap him for doing so. For no particular reason, Skye's eyes soften and his face portrayed confusion. "Rhea?" He muttered and lowered his bow slightly. Her lone presence was confusing. What was she doing alone? Where was Kaspar? Why did she come looking for them? What had happen before? Genevieve immediately lunged at her but missed and Skye refused to give in to his old self, his old self that would've totally let his guard down. His face in turn changed to show no expression and he just asked, "What do you want." However, Skye probably already predicted her answer; To kill them of course. What else could it be, to have a cup of tea with them? Skye grimaced in his mind as he remembered that joke he made during his own interview.

Rhea watched as the two attacks came towards her. Genevieve missed, it was obvious she wasn't quite used to the spear that she picked up off of Snow's dead body. Rhea fortunately had lots of experience with the weapon, and brought her trusty weapon forward in a swinging motion to try and block Skye's arrow. She then leaned over and picked up the arrow that was shot at her. "I don't even get a hello Genevieve?" Rhea smiled weakly at her own joke. She really wasn't great at being a tough, no nonsense tribute.

"What do you want." Skye asked coldly, so different from the Skye she remembered at the beginning of the games. Rhea could only look at him expressionless as he questioned her. She could also see the confusion in his eyes over why she was alone. But she wasn't going to tell them about Kaspar. It would only make her emotional, and if she was going to have to defend herself she would need to have a clear mind. Instead she figured that she would tell them that she had only come for water, maybe try and make them feel bad for attacking her for no reason. "I...I only came here for some water..." Rhea said weakly. She moved closer to them, "but I also came to kill you." This she said coldly as her demeanor changed. She took her spear and with a quick and wide swing she aimed towards Genevieve. She wanted to fight Rhea the most...so Rhea would give her exactly what she wanted.

"You don't deserve a hello, traitor." Genevieve snapped viscously. Rhea had been her only alliance at the begginning of the Games, and she had betrayed her. Genevive would never forgive her for that, ever. She winced inwardly as she missed her attack. Stupid spear. Genevieve wasn't very fond of spears, but it was the only long range weapon she had. She triedti dance out of the way of Rhea's attack and slashed at her almost immediately. Hopefully she would hit her this time.

Skye dropped his hands and lowered his bow for an instant as Rhea replied about getting water. But he slung the bow over his shoulder and switched to his sword the moment she walked towards them, declaring about killing them. Skye cursed under his breath for letting him drop his guard that very moment and letting Rhea take that arrow of his but he quickly recovered and swung his sword at Rhea muttering to her full of determination, "You'll never get that day." He realised that Genevieve was having problems with her spear and he wondered what Genevieve was good at, noticing that she didn't touch her knives yet. He nodded towards her in encouragement, they were getting out of this fight alive.

Rhea bit her lower lip as Genevieve blocked her attack. The girl came in close to try and hit her but she missed yet again. Genevieve was now close enough to hit, so Rhea swung the blunt end of the spear up towards the girls face in an attempt to knock her off her feet. Then as Skye came towards her Rhea tried to duck out of the swing of the sword. She backed away giving herself distance from the two for a moment so she could try and speak. "Genevieve I'm sorry for how it went down with the careers, but if you didn't leave Chaos was going to kill you when were got to our next destination. So instead he went for Ashley because I told him not to kill you. Don't you understand that I did it to protect you! I didn't want to betray you...I never meant to betray you. But I'm sure that nothing I say will change how you feel."

Skye spoke, showing his determination to survive. She admired that about him. "I don't want to kill you. But the sooner I am done here the sooner I can deal with Heppa. She...." Rhea lowered her eyes, feeling the tears start to well up with tears. She closed her eyes tightly and gripped the spear. The one thing she had left of him was that spear and somehow holding it made it feel as if he was there next to her. "...she killed Kaspar. She promised me she wouldn't and she did. I was gonna get some water and then go and kill her with my own two hands when I managed to find you two. I figured you weren't gonna let me go without a fight and I was right." Rhea was determined to make it out. She knew she was outnumbered and right now the odds weren't in her favor; but in a way she really didn't care. She was gonna fight until to the end. Rhea lifted her spear up defensively, and looked around for a moment for a way to escape if she needed to.
