After leaving the Cornucopia,I ran towards a different way and was glad to find mud.Where mud existed,there was water.And water meant food.I was really lucky to be here.I dug a hole I could fit in the ground and got comfortable to spent the night.

The mud started to close in around the tribute, these mud rooms were no place to dig holes.

I quickly woke up when I felt the mud moving and jumped up,pushing the rest of teh mud away from me quickly.No place to hide here either.

The waves of mud calmed a bit, but they still happened.

Jason walked into the area quietly, trying to keep his footing in the mud. Hearing a commotion, he looked around and noticed a hole in the mud nearby. He disregarded it as just a hole, and turned to look for other things in the room. Before he could get away from the hole, he heard more noises, and concluded it had to be something. So, turning around, he moved back to the hole and took a glance in, from a distance.

I made another step back and cursed,not noticing the other tribute.My feet were stuck in the mud and it was hard to move but I kept trying.I had to leave the place.Suddenly,the smell of fresh water reached me and I looked around confused,finally noticing the guy.I had seen him in the training,he was 2...or 9?I couldn't remember right now and I didn't care.The only thing I had to find out was if he knew I was here and if he wanted to kill me.I moved my hand closer to my sword but otherwise kept still and waited.

Jason is fine where he stands, Laura has managed to make it aware to Jason she was in the mud, although she was still stuck and the mud still moved around.

Jason could see the girl in the hole. She was obviously stuck there, or else she would've gotten herself out by now. He got down to his knees near the hole, digging his feet into the ground the hold him steady, and reached his free hand, using the knife to hold himself steady against the ground. "Grab my hand or stay here and die" he said to her. He didn't know which district she was from or what her name was, but that didn't matter in his plan.

I thought about it for a minute,then grabbed his hand and quickly unseathed my sword,pointing it towards his neck."What do you want?"I asked suspiciously.

Laura was started to be tugged a bit letting her know she had no time to ask questions and that if she wanted to be safe she'd accept the offer.

Jason looked down at her feet sinking downwards. He pushed her sword away slowly with his knife. "You aren't really in a situation to interrogate me" he said, keeping his hand out and ready to pull her out. If she decided to be stubborn, he'd leave her there, that was her problem. He didn't have room to risk his own safety by staying too long.

Jason managed to get Laura out of the mud for now and they were safe for the time being.

Jason pulled her out, making sure he got her a safe distance from the hole. He sat back with his arms on his knees, cleaning the mud off his knife. "You're welcome" he said flatly. looking around, he was really not excited by the prospects in this place. All he could see was freaking mud.

Jason smirked, so easily trusting now, huh? "Jason, and I'm not exactly looking for an ally" he said in retaliation to her question about leaving. "I just didn't think drowning in mud was a fair way for anyone to die" he said, pointing towards the hole with his knife. He got up slowly, making sure he was on sure footing. "In the spirit of not fighting in this stupid place, I'm just going to go now" he said, walking away.
