Exploring The Arena

The beast slashed at me again, I side stepped, and Laura left and made her way back to the cornucopia. "Why wont you die, damn it." I shouted angrily, and drove in hard slashing both knives hitting its head, throat, heart, and anything else I could reach. "Like get a hint, no one likes you, so get out of here." I added, trying to taunt the creature.

I laughed out loud, relieved that the thing had finally died. It was silent, and I looked around but I was alone. I felt a pain in my left leg, and I noticed I was bleeding. I swore again, "Blasted mutt." I muttered. I looked around for some kind of cloth or something to tie around my leg and stop the bleeding. I took a closer look at the wound, it was pretty deep, I was scared I would bleed to death.

I looked for some cloth without any luck. I was just about to rip off some from my shirt, when I noticed that the bleeding had stopped. "Well, thats nice." I said out loud to myself. I decided to get back to my original task. I was leary of opening anymore books, but I figured the reword would far out weigh the the risk, so I grabbed another book. There was no title, but it looked to be some kind of encyclopedia, and that meant information.

I opened the book to the first pages, but they were blank. I flipped quickly through the rest of the book, but all of the pages were blank. "Well that one was useless, but it may come in handy later." I stated. I slipped the book into my bag, and moved on. I began to notice that I was getting thirst, I needed to find water or risk dying of thirst. I doubted that I would find any in the library, but I looked anyways.

I looked for what seemed like hours, but nothing came up. I figured the library was waterless, so I moved on. I walked through an archway that led me to another room. I just hoped I would be able to find my way back, because I would love to visit the library again.
