District 8 Reapings!

For a reaping day everything was going so good. His mothers bought him a whole new outfit for the reaping and promised a chicken dinner when he comes back. His sister even gave him a small present for good luck, a small pink patch with their names on it, which was nothing less than cute to him. Everything seemed so good, so worry free.

He should of never expected a reaping to ever be a good day.

"Ross Bonnett!" the freakish looking escort said in that annoying accent, that did not sound so annoying until she said his name.

He stopped thinking about the dinner his parents were going to serve tonight and the pretty looking knitting his sister made. For a moment he forgot himself.
