I started getting the things out of the bag and I showed her some bread,some meat,vegetables and cheese.I kept the last bag closed and carefully placed it on teh table.

I was happy with what Joseph had got. I was curious about the other bag though. "Joseph, what's in that bag over there?" I ask. I don't have a clue on what could be in it.

I walk up to the bag and open it. I see something I recognise from TV shows, but have never eaten or even touched one. It was a cupcake.

"Joseph, how did you afford this?" I say smiling as I go to kiss him.

I smirked and shook my head,pressing my finger to my lips.I pointed at the bag again and raised 10 fingers first before closing them in fists,only leaving 2,tryingo to tell her how many cupcakes where in the bag.

This was amazing! I needed to tell Das about this. I quickly kiss Joseph and whisper how awesome this is as I go upstairs to tell my Dad about the cupcakes.

I laughed and ran my hand through my hair,grabbing a plate and placing the decorated with flowers cupcakes on it before putting it in the middle of the table

I get my Dad and drag him over to the kitchen. I see that Joseph has set it up. My Dads face was full of amazement. "Joseph, how did you manage to afford this? It's real luxury!" My guess is that his family was rich. I didn't mention it though.

I pressed my finger to my lips once again and smirked.I then filled two glasses with the orange juice I had bought and put them on the table,right in front of them

I sit down at the table and drink the juice Joseph had made. "Dad, what are we going to do today?" I ask. Dad didn't know what we could do today.

I start to think of what we could do. "Well, we all seem to love cooking, so why don't we have a cook off? Joseph has got the ingredients we need. Plus I know some places where we can gather more ingredients." I say, looking at Joseph, hoping that he would agree to it.

I nodded and smiled,kissing her nose lightly.I got up and got out some butter,milk and flour.I also got a bowl and some eggs and started making a cake

I can see my Dad making some sort of stew and Joseph baking a cake. I decide to go simplistic and make a vegetable soup. I go to the garden and I grab some potatoes, carrots and onions. I then go in and prepare the vegetables. I get some remaining chicken sauce from dinner a few days ago and put all of the ingredients in to cook. I look over to see my Dad nearly burning his stew. He isn't going to win this contest now. I then quickly took my soup off the heat and poured it into the 3 bowls laid out. I then look over to see how Joseph is doing.

I smirked and,when no one was looking,poured some chocolate chips into the mix.I then poured it into a deep,square plate and into the oven,just as Mel finished with her soup.I smiled and hugged her,blushing deeply

I see Joseph putting his cake into the oven. I go over to him to check up on everything. "I think it's between us now. Dad has completely burnt his. I am even worried about it being non-edible." I say to Joseph as I kiss him on the cheek. I can hear Dad moaning and swearing and shouting about how he ruined the meal. This is why he never cooked for me.

I tried to laugh and grabbed a knife,heading over to him.I gently pushed him away and started cutting the burned pieces from the rest of the meat.Then,when I was done,I gathered all the burned pieces and headed outside,putting them on a rock for any hungry animal that may wanted them

Joseph knew what I was talking about. I hope the animals don't mind burnt food. My Dad then finished up his dish and even though it still wasn't great, it was enter than before. We only had to wait for Joseph's cake now.

"Well, whilst Joseph's food is baking, why don't we go for a starter. I have made vegetable soup." I say as I rip a piece of bread and dunk it in the soup. I then bite into the bread. It was nice and warm, but not too boiling. I then took my spoon and had a try of the soup. I was proud of it.

I see my Dad enjoying the soup. He also looks worried. He takes competitions seriously. I then hear the stopwatch signal time was up. Joseph's cake must be finished. My Dad goes and collects the soup bowls in as he lays out his dish.

I smiled and got up,grabbing the cake from the oven and letting it cool off for a few.I then go cut a small piece of meat and dip it into the soup before putting it into my mouth with a content sigh

I go and bite into his stew. It isn't as bad as I thought it was. I quickly look over to Joseph, as the cake must be cool by now.

I raised my eyebrow and smiled as I went for the cake.I cut it into pieces and put them into another plate before putting it on the table.I sniffed and smiled.Warm enough,not too burned and smelling delicious.I didn't want to admit it,but I was known for my cooking
