Oh and the shade of the color means smell or scent" I said, I went into the drawers finding a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt. I quickly got dressed and waited for Milo, tomorrow we started training."

Milo showered quickly and put his own clothing back on. He didn't want anything of the Capitol's.

I got under the covers upon hearing Milo finish the shower and I curled up pretending to be asleep but leaving the light on for him. I breathed deeply. The bed was soft but my morals said wait for Milo before you fall asleep.

Milo came out of the bathroom, then, seeing Brook asleep, quietly turned off the light climbed into the bed next to her. He kissed her forehead once, then closed his eyes.

I smiled embracing him under the covers "Night Milo, I love you" I fell asleep than only to awake to the silver light of dawn through the crack in the blinds on the window. I quietly got up trying not to wake him and starting getting changed for training today.

Milo woke up slowly, he heard Brook moving around. For a moment he might've been able to pretend nothing had happened. No such luck when he opened his eyes and sat up. The bed was way too fluffy anyway to be his old cot, anyway. "'Morning," he said, yawning and standing up.

I shrieked as he opened his eyes. "Milo you idiot i'm changing" I quickly threw on the rest of my clothes. "Gah. Can't I get a break here?" I asked no one in particular. Come on and get changed for training, Olivia and Poppy left us outfits. I gestured to the black jumpsuits with a white and red Six stitched onto my thigh. "they look good to me!"

Milo looked away quickly as she finished changing, then walked over and inspected the jumpsuits. "And on you," he added. He changed quickly. "Ready?"

I'm thinking Dinner with the stylists who can tell us our outfits for the interviews (We can find pics) than we can chill in one of our rooms or visit Jacob or Jokk ^^

Maybe, I think training will end early so the Tributes can use their stylists and prepare for interviews with their Mentors.

I was in the shower at the time but still heard his knock. "Yeah come on in!" I yelled above the running shower. "I think it's open!"

Milo let himself in and locked the door behind. He dug through her closet until he found a men's pair of light cotton pants and a shirt. There were several towels on the shelves and he used one to dry his hair from the shower he'd just taken in his room.

I stepped out of the bathroom wearing a towel, my eyes were red from crying but I hoped it wasn't that obvious. I had been thinking about the games again and I just couldn't bear the torture they put us through before hand. I quickly changed into the stuff I had slept in lag night being quick for Milos sake but not really saying anything.

When Brook finished changing, Milo walked quickly over to her and wrapped his arms around her tightly. "I'm never letting you go, you know that?" he told her. He didn't want her to see that he was blinking more than usual. But no way, Milo was not letting himself cry.

"In the arena," Milo said slowly, "Make me a promise that you won't purposefully try to die for me, okay? We'll fight hard, Brook. If you die, I'll do everything I can and win. If I die, you'll do the same. Okay?"

I smiled sadly cuddling up to him sitting on the bed. "Okay" I promised. Little did he know. I had my fingers crossed. I lay down on my back patting the spot next to me, "I'm not as tired anymore." I said "Wanna just... Talk?"

Milo laid down next to her and sighed. "You didn't take my promise seriously," he said softly. "What about your sister, Brook? Don't you want to actually get to know her?"

"Please Milo, I don't want to talk about home.." I said "I just want to talk about us.." I didn't want to be reminded of the place I'd never set foot in again. I leaned forward and kissed him passionately.

Milo knew that Brook was not giving up, just like he wasn't. He would protect Brook for as long as he could, but then when he died she would have to fight for herself. He wasn't worried about her abilities, he was just afraid she would pull something where she would die early and leave him alone...Milo sighed and kissed her back for a moment, then pulled back and searched her eyes.
