Lori watched as the dragon fell, dying from its injuries. The crown fell and rolled in front of her feet like a trophy of its defeat. Lori picked up the golden crown that now laid at her feet and looked at it. She thought about how with this one thing alone she could feed her family for weeks, yet this crown would never leave the cotton candy filled arena. Lori looked to Nicanor and a smile crept on her face as she ran towards him, hugging him tightly. "We need to find him, kill him." She nodded as she finished her sentence, a reassurance in her eyes as she talked about ending another person's life. "Maybe if we are lucky a deer will eat him." She smiled, just trying to cheer him up. But then the canon fire set off and she turned towards the valley the sound had come from. She quickly looked back to her companion. "Maybe I'm psychic. Come on." She grabbed his hand a ran off, onto a new destination. She hated being at this garden, it only contained bad memories.

Nicanor watched as the dragon finally fell and the crown had rolled to Lori's feet. When she ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him, he slowly put his arms around her. It was not that he was not happy that she was alive and showing signs of emotions, but the fact that he had helped kill the kid earlier and his realization about how blood thirsty he seemed to be with the District 2 boy made him question just who he was as a person. He gave Lori a smile though, not wanting to drag her into the conflict taking place inside his mind. He managed a sincere laugh as she made a little joke about the District 2 boy being eaten by a deer. That is when the canon boomed and Lori turned back to him and grabbed his hand. "Yes, let's go."
